Went in with my sister because we heard such great things about the place. What a letdown. No greeting, no assistance. The selection was skimpy at best, and the person ringing us up gave more attention to the guy who came in after us to drop off a poinsettia than the paying customers. Will NOT be returning.

I was extremely excited about trying something new while in the Atlanta area. I was not pleased with the service not the quality of the supposed goodies I purchased. Will not be returning.

Yesterday my daughter had a tea party at Sugar Bakers and I am still wowed by the beauty of it all. Ms. Linda transformed the spot into a magical place with a fountain, scrumptious mini quiches, finger sandwiches, tea cakes, and other touches that made the little girls feel royal. She turned the whole bakery over to us, allowing us to have the party after hours. When one of the parents said that she was forgoing the cakes because she was diabetic, Mrs. Linda brought out some delectable, sugar-free brownies. Additionally when the number of actual attendees turned out to be higher than expected and we stayed an extra hour because the girls were having such a ball, instead of charging extra, she said not to worry about it. She is a genuinely sweet woman who cares more about people than profit. One of her menu items is the«Slap Ya Mama Chicken Salad,» and she definitely is not exaggerating. The food and service are top notch. Stop by for a bite or schedule an event there. You will not be disappointed.

Such delicate, fluffy biscuits, that they make one wonder if they are really in one’s mouth. The eclairs had such a fantastic filling: light, creamy, with notes of butter and cocoa from the pastry. One of the best random finds I’ve had in a long time.

Tucked away in old town conyers, this sweet little bakery is the perfect Saturday morning treat! The owners are the sweetest people, the inside is cozy and home-y, and every baked good I have ever had has been fantastic. I highly recommend the tea cakes to go with your cup of coffee!

I grew up in Conyers but now live in California. Last time I was home I was curious about what was going on in Old Town. My boyfriend and I saw this place and decided to stop in. We ordered a great breakfast(biscut & gravy, eggs, bacon and a biscut) It was great and very reasonably priced. We also got an iced lemon cookie and chocolate chip that were perfect! I hope the locals support this great little place because I’ll be back when I visit home.

What an amazing hidden gem. Yeah it’s in Conyers, BUT if you are out there, it’s a great bakery run by three funny ladies. I had a coupon from a local magazine for a free cookie. Yeah, I know I’m maximizing my pennies. Heck if that’s what it took to find this bakery/sandwhich/tea shoppe then hoo ha! I grabbed a few cookies to go after trying! Sold and Sold! There is NO free cookie if it causes spasms of addiction and you buy more!!! But more… yummy cookie… cookie…cooooookkkkkiieeee… Next time I’m trying one of their lunch specials, maybe I won’t buy a half dozen lunches, like the half dozen cookies!
