I ordered the 4 meat plate combo with spare ribs, brisket, Carolina pork and the original pulled pork. For sides I got the Mac and cheese and the coleslaw. We also got to taste their cheesy muffins(heaven)! The food was on point! The sauces were good, the only down Side was that the sauces went from really mild to really spicy! Still delicious tho. I decided to mix both sauces together to create a spicy but edible sauce for the original pulled pork. Our waiter was super great! He scored plus points when he served me a to-go ice peach tea, due to the hot day. He made our first experience pleasant and even helped us decide on what to order. I definitely recommend to any BBQ lovers!

Visited the restaurant for take out around 4:30 the afternoon of 4⁄23. There was no one at the take out counter. I stood there for about 5 minutes. Finally, approached the lady working behind the bar to ask her if I need to place my order at the bar. This person saw me standing there for several minutes, never acknowledged my presence and continued talking to a customer. I finally interrupted her to ask her my question. Her response to me was very rude. There are way too many BBQ restaurants in the ATL area so I choose to not deal with such rudeness. The St. Louis style ribs were cut into thin strips and were too tough to even consume. The collards and potato salad were decent.

Had the Riblets and salad @Jim n Nicks. If I could give it a zero I would. All bones and meat was so tough. Waste of money. Won’t be coming back to this restaurant.

Came across this place cruising down Hwy 20. Was pleasantly surprised with it. Service was great, good beer selection, and plenty of seating. Spare ribs and Brisket were very good, and portions large. Only disappointment was the pecan pie(average at best so don’t waste the calories).

WHATISGOINGONWITHTHEJIM N NICK’S INCONYERS!!! I used to love this location until about 2 – 3 months ago. Just recently, I have done take-out orders from this restaurant during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve of 2015 and have been disappointed all three times! Each time, my take-out order was at least $ 50 dollars or more. Last but now least, their drive thru service is HORRIBLE! It takes too long to receive your order AND to make matters worse, it is never right. Something is always missing from what you ordered. I am so disappointed with what is going on with this restaurant and hope that they get it together soon or they will lose a lot of loyal customers like me. The quality and quantity of food has changed — but not the prices. Most importantly, the quality of the food has changed. I think that this restaurant is under new management, but they are denying this fact. Whenever I ask this question, I have been told that there has not been a change in management, but a major change in the kitchen staff. Whatever is going on has changed this restaurant. The food is now AWFUL!!! The collard greens used to be the best. They now have the most odd taste! The last two times that I have selected collard greens as a side item, I had to throw them away after eating one mouthful and by the second time, I did share my dissatisfaction with the house manager. The mac and cheese no longer has any cheese on top or in the dish itself. Why serve it? The«fully loaded baked potato» is now a joke. It is no longer«fully loaded.» This used to be one of my favorite food items. I have purchased this food item twice in the last 2 months(once as the«Piggie Potato» and then without any smoked meat, but just the«loaded» potato). Each time, the potato literally was sprinkled with a little cheese, one small scoop of sour cream(if that) and 3 to 4 tiny pieces of bacon. There were no chives on the potato. The potato is too big to not have the correct amount of toppings. After a few bites, you have to decide on whether or not you are going to finish the potato with no toppings(which is dry) or throw the rest away. The banana pudding has no bananas in it — just pudding that is too sweet. I have received my banana pudding like this 3 times. The fried catfish is not fresh and taste like old fish that should be discarded after it reaches its expiration date(hint, hint) and not sold to customers. I have decided that I will no longer be a patron of this restaurant because they are now more concerned with profit more than good customer service and serving quality food like they used to do.

I wish I knew why this placed sucks but I can’t seem to focus long enough on what annoys me most about this restaurant. Is it the fact that the kitchen gets my take out order wrong EVERY time I take out? Is it that every time I go, I wait for my server to take my order, longer than I wait for my food once my order is taken? Is it that when the food arrives it’s cold? I just can’t seem to put my finger on it, but I’ve given up on this restaurant. I’m out!

We went with no expectations. We just wanted to try a new place in Conyers. Friendly staff; food was delicious. Our favorite was definitely the riblets. The food and staff are worth a return trip.

First time there and was great. Cheese biscuits were so good we took some home. Service was friendly and fast. I had the Carolina pulled pork and my wife had the traditional pulled pork. Both plates were great. I suggest the baked beans and mac’n cheese.

Not my favorite location, but the food was still pretty decent. I got the bakers potato. My only complaint is I feel like the potato could have been cooked more

We went on a Sunday with low expectations based on these reviews but the pulled pork BBQ was so moist and perfectly smoked. I think the price is too high but we really liked the food. They were sold out of ribs and other things but it was a Sunday afternoon.

Not the best Jim N Nick’s I’ve been to, but definitely better than average. What we were impressed with was the service. From the host to the wait staff, the entire group here is well trained and on top of things, which isn’t normally the case at these chains. There’s a lot to like about Jim N Nick’s. Starting with the fantastic cheese biscuits on down to all the meats and sides, everything is made with care here and it shows in the flavor. Normally, we go with the combo plates and sample three meats: the turkey, pork and brisket, although I’ve had the smoked chicken and the taste doesn’t take a step back. All of the sides are fair, but I lean towards the mashed potatoes with brown gravy and normally one of the fresh sides of the day. Jim N Nick’s is darn good, BBQ and some of the most consistent in The South. It’s a great place for a quick lunch or a family dinner and never lets you down. In fact, even the desserts are good here. The banana pudding and homemade pies(we like the pecan) are a great way to finish off the evening, if you can find room on your belly.

These tend to have really consistant quality, understanding staff. Facilities are always clean, seem to be busy, and the wit staff is great with large groups. Food. Sauces can be a bit strong, but this seems to be the trend in the geographical area they serve. Sides all had great flavor. Portions are good too. Going with 5 stars just due to consistency across the chain, southern hospitality, cleanliness, and I have no favorite selection. Depends on my mood for the day. It’s all good.

From the time we walked in the door the staff was friendly and helpful. Our server greeted us promptly at our table and brought our drinks very quickly. The cheese muffins that were served after our drinks were superb! Just enough cheese and a slight sweetness to the bread. Delicious! It was our first time so it took us a minute to look over the menu. Our server didn’t abandon us, but was very patient and checked back often. We placed our order and were pleasantly surprised when it arrived within 10 minutes. Being from North Carolina, every time we see NC style barbecue we are skeptical. The description was right, so one of my party was intrigued enough to try. Pleasantly surprised! Of course there is a difference, but it was close. Two of us got the beef brisket. It was very good as well. Overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. We will return the next time we are out that way.

I always get the Pig in the potato patch, and it is more than enough food for me. It is my favorite thing on the menu.

I was told this was the best barbecue. I was disappointed. Order 2 lbs baby backs they just weight the bones because they were hugh and tough and not the least flavorful The chicken wings were ok nothing to get excited about. If I go back again which won’t be soon I’d get something else.

Ordered the Pulled pork plate with a baked potato and collard greens. Both the pork and the greens were so salty, I could not enemy finish ¼ a serving. On top of the sub par food, it took them 10 minutes to get my plat to me while the rest of my party was half finished. I do not recommend. There are plenty of local BBQ joints with far better bbq.

The cheese biscuits they serve with your meal are so delicious, I’ve considered visiting Jim n Nick’s just for them. The service is always fast and friendly and it’s a well-maintained dining room. There’s just so many great BBQ places around, this one isn’t my favorite.

Call and make reservations if you can Sundays are packed! Love the restaurant. Our Server was knowledgeable. She knew up front what they had available vs. what had run out. They are generous with the cornbread which is phenomenal! They could do better with the entrée portions they were sparse but delicious. I will definitely visit again. They don’t freeze anything. Everything made that day.

pretty generic bbq. nothing really stands out… except the cheese biscuit appetizers. the portions are a healthy size and the dining area is large enough to accommodate almost any family. i liked the sides… mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. both were pretty decent! this place is worth a stop by … but it’s not going to be legendary.

«Pleasebegood, Pleasebegood,» I chanted silently to myself as I pulled up to the drive-thru at Jim ‘N Nick’s. I already scoped out the menu online beforehand, and the thought of smoked turkey breast and cheese biscuits absolutely put me in the mood for BBQ. Having given up the swine a while back(except when obliging my great Aunt’s gracious cooking), I was glad to see more offered than ribs and chicken. I ordered the smoked turkey BBQ plate with cole slaw, baked beans, and 2 cheese biscuits come with it. While my mind was set on the sinfully delectable bundles of joy freshly heated at Red Lobster, these cheese biscuits are actually corn muffins with cheese inside them. The turkey breast was tender and tasty without the sauce, which was actually good. Cheese biscuits were alright, and the cole slaw I could live without. I could tell it was fresh, but did not have enough flavor standing up to those baked beans. My GOODNESS those baked beans are fantastic. A lot of BBQ places don’t get them right, but THESE? Spicy and sweet heaven. Thank you. Honestly? The rest of the food tasted like nothing compared to the beans. With flavor like this, who needs desert?
