Whoever heard of a theater AND café that don’t accept a credit card in 2011?!? Get into the 21st century folks! Theater gets a four; Café gets two stars. The small theater, only seats 50 people was more like a large private home theater than cinema – the 3-seater sofa at the front was the«piece d’resistance!» Saw War Horse – an unexpected treat in a small, intimate theater. I’d love to see a foreign film fest here! The attached café was a serious disappointment. The staff was more concerned about their own ailments and complaints than tending to the clientele. The«Philly» sub I ordered was bland at best – no flavor. A simple sandwich and cup of soup order for three seemed to overwhelm – almost 20 minutes to get the order completed for the three of us and I had to wait until my mates were nearly finished to get my soup. Though my son enjoyed his cup of chowder(quite tasty), my minestrone was as bland as the sandwich. Would definitely eat before going to the theater at our next visit.
