I went in looking for an acoustic guitar and I wasn’t disappointed. They have a pretty nice selection from a wide price range. Plus, you don’t have to worry about a salesman breathing down your neck and scowling at you when you pick up an expensive guitar. I ended up not buying a guitar at this time but I did find what my next purchase would be.

Think that other chap may have gotten lost. Jack himself helped me my first trip in and I am a total rookie. Prices are really low. If you find a beat up, used guitar at a pawn shop Jack’s price on the same model of brand new is cheaper. The staff won’t try to sell you things you don’t need. Lessons at Jack’s are affordable and very useful. As for the Fender knockoff comment in the other review, if you call a Martin a Fender knockoff, I guess that’s right. Accessories at Jack’s, cases, straps, strings, books, etc are cheaply priced. Far and away the best music shop in the area.

at least for guitars this place is pretty bad. mostly a bunch of fender copies. they do carry G&L but their prices were about 30% more than anywhere else. not impressed.
