St Methodios Faith and Heritage Center

I organized a retreat for our non-​profit quilting group and we stayed at St. Methodios. Mike and Jon were very easy to work with and although we had a few glitches during our stay I still give them 5 stars. There are some things that could be improved on but they are willing to listen and made every effort to treat the group right. There were 68 of us up there for a 4-​day weekend. The menu was delicious, the group stayed in both the cabins and the lodge and used the dining hall for both dining and sewing. We are going back in January 2014 with even more participants than the year before so it is not just me (the organizer) that rates this place highly.

This place is gorgeous!
My first time up here to Contoocook. The grounds are gorgeous. My group stayed in the «hotel part» of the retreat center. Everything was clean, quiet, and well kept.
My senior class and I had a wonderful retreat with our school president. I wish we could have spent more time there. The facilities are incredible, and the staff there is so kind and willing to help.
I hope to come again soon and bring youth groups and others up here to share the beauty of this retreat center.

What a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful site!
The cabins are wonderfully equipped with beds, (stiff) mattresses, heaters, showers, and toilets. The wonderful natural backdrop of lakes/​rivers/​snow/​trees makes this place an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The retreat center is gorgeous with wonderful coaches, a fireplace, rooms, and plenty of extra space. The conference center has a large room that doubles as a dining hall and an «everything else» space. There was even a natural camp fire lit for us one night outside of the dining hall!
The staff is the friendliest! The food was great! Hats off to the chefs!
The chapel is gorgeous with wonderfully colorful icons. Everything about our retreat weekend there was lovely. Thanks to everyone out at St. Methodios who made it such a comfortable and splendid weekend!
