There was nothing that was good about our meal except the company. The Caesar salad was soggy, the ice tea was old and tasted like tennis shoes. The Flatbread Pizza with eggplant, spinach and tomatoes had raw spinach, a combo of tasteless fresh tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes with the texture of dried cherries, broiled eggplant lacking in any seasoning. The traditional Chicago deep dish Pizza resembled an opened can of diced tomatoes.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was outstanding! She was attentive without being on us. They apparently now serve you hot breadsticks with garlic oil, i assume it’s because their pizzas take a little longer to come out. They are fluffy inside and crusty outside, great way to start the visit. We ordered the Sweet Red Chili wings and the Spinach Artichoke dip. Only complaint was that the chips that came with the dip were stale, but it comes in a pizza crust so who needs chips! Hubby was thrilled with the flavor and heat on the wings. We got a large pizza and they were a able to Maggie it half Numero Uno and half Shroom, which is a feat indeed because not one bit of either side got into the other. I have been to this location on the way back to Virginia from Philly several times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

So my gf and I went there for dinner today because i love Chicago style pizza. Too bad I didn’t get to eat any. We arrived at 430 or so, restaurant was almost empty so I was excited we wouldn’t have to wait long. However we got seated in a section with a waiter who had a large party of over 13 people with several children. He was swamped with them and should have had help. I understand that he was busy but that is no excuse to leave us sitting at a table for 15 mins before even attempting to take our order. And after my gf told him what she would like he said«sorry I didn’t understand a word you said.» We walked out right after that and I will never set foot in there again. Horrible, unprofessional service. If I want Unos I’ll drive 20 mins out of my way to go to the one in Neshaminy. I NEVER walk out places but I was left with no choice here. The waiter made us feel like we were a major inconvenience because he was too busy with his large party.

On labor day my wife and me went for dinner. Walking in we were treated to the aroma of dirty dish water. We were seated immediately the place was empty. Our server was quick and pleasant. My wife ordered the turkey avocado sandwich and I ordered the sirloin tips med rare with a baked potato and broccoli. My wife said the sandwich was really good. My sirloin tips were over cooked and dry and I got mashed potatoes in stead of baked. At least the margaritas were good.

Not a bad option if you’re heading to Ikea and you’re not in the mood for cheap hot dogs or Swedish meatballs from the cafeteria. The place is clean and new inside. Friendly staff. Kid friendly. A few craft beers available(Ithaca, Dogfish, etc.) I’ve never had actual Chicago deep dish, but this pizza is pretty good for a chain. I really like the mozzarella that they use.

Decided to go back and give UNOs another shot and I’m glad I did! My mom wanted to do something casual for her birthday and she suggested UNOs. After my last visit… I was actually contacted by a rep of UNOs and she was awesome and apologized and urged to give another chance. Service this time around was fantastic! Our waitress was great and very attentive but didn’t rush us. Let me say this, my mother is very particular and pretty fussy so when she is pleased you know it’s good service. They were out of lobster which was a bummer as I was craving the lobster roll but went with the shrimp scampi and was delighted the same. Mom got the 2 for 12 and honestly they’re pretty nice portions. Wife got a burger and they always rock. Very happy with this location after this experience.

Nice enough for after cinema. Flatbread was good and kitchen open late. Very cheesy though but still nice. Nice enough place.

After having a nice vacation in Chicago I was recently craving deep dish pizza. I knew this place is part of a franchise but there is no reason not to try them out since I do not know of any ‘authentic’ deep dish mom & pop deep dish places locally. Luckily for me I was not disappointed in either the food or the service. The crab & shrimp dip appetizer was sinful with all the cheese and cream, but it was served with really nice buttery toast that just made me eat it faster. If you intend on getting a deep dish pizza than the recommended sizes are pretty dead on. It was just me and one other person and we got the regular that is suppose to feed 2 – 3 people. Since we had the appetizer to share we each only ate 1 piece each leaving 4 for leftovers. Clearly you get plenty of food with this pizza. We ordered the Italiano and it was really good! Our poor server was unfortunately being messed with by the cooking staff in the back. He had to come out to our table and at first say«we are out of medium size pizzas so they are going to make you 2 smalls». By that comment we realized the dough is most likely not fresh and already pre-made and molded into shape. Although that was the initial message our server told us, in the end we did get the medium because he was having a joke played on him. Either way the crust was tasty whether it was pre-made or not.

Ordered online a few weeks ago and we where given the wrong order. I called and they acted like it was my fault and told me to bring back all the food,(we did take the pizza out before we realized it). Went back for the right food and we where still shorted a salad, the manager told us we had a $ 30 credit for next time and he wrote it in book. Went to use the credit and it was not there, had to argue for it! Terrible experiences and do not recommend

Menu is overwhelming with something for everybody. Lots of booths which I like. Serrvice was friendly w manager opening the door to welcome us in out of cold. The waitress was nice but just not on top of things such as water refills. When the other girl delivered the food she was alittle brusque but perhaps she was in a hurry? The food was good but slightly over cooked so not making me come running back. Salads fresh n nice. Overall: Nice but not great.

This use to be our go to spot but tonight was not the night. Came here for a quick dinner. Got seated right away, which was a plus. But after that it was awful. Our waiter was just the worst. Clearly he was working for tips, just not at our table. He spent SOO much time taking care and checking on the table right in front of us(who were a middle age couple who ordered a steak). Just because me and my boyfriend are in a twenties and didn’t ordered a steak doesn’t mean we don’t tip nicely(even with having a crappy waiter we still tipped 20%). Our waiter barely came over to refill our drinks. Our meals were just awful. The burger was the saddest burger we ever received And the manager came over to take our bill. Our waiter never came back over to thank us or anything. Been here before had GREAT service but questioning if we will make a trip back.

Gluten free is the way to be when you have easy tasty experiences like I just had at Uno’s. They have a full gluten free menu as well as gluten free deals. I made my order online and by the time I got to the store my order was already ready. The crust is not cracker hard like most gluten free crusts — it’s actually chewy! I also like their veggie pizza which features onions, green peppers, and onions. Getting to eat pizza really made my day today, especially getting to eat good pizza. That’s the one virtue of being gluten free, you start appreciating the little things again.

I actually really like this place a lot. They are a chain, yes, which usually turns me off, but they make consistently good food and always give great service. The last time I was in, my partner had a bogo offer to try two of their new pizzas before the menu was released. It was supposed to just be for individual sized pizzas, but some form of miscommunication happened that resulted in us receiving a large pizza instead. He didn’t touch it, thinking the waiter would probably take it away and try to change the second pizza to the smaller version, but instead the manager noticed we weren’t eating and immediately stepped in So we paid $ 12 where we would have paid $ 50, and my partner got to take nearly two full pizzas home that he is still steadily working through.

Uno is GREAT! I was here recently to get a take out pizza(which they offer some great deals on) and sat at the bar for a drink while it cooked. Bar was clean, bartender was friendly and had a great beer. ALSO, if you are heading to the Regel for a movie, they offer discounts on movie tickets! Who knew! Literally half price tickets. OR a $ 30 special with dinner for two and movie tickets included. That is the best news to share.

They get a 4th star because as part of my meal, they also offered discounted movie tickets. Since my only reason for eating here is because the nearby movie theater was one of the few still showing Star Trek, it was a very good perk to get. In general, I’m OK with Uno’s. Sometimes they;re great, a few times in my life they’ve missed. Yesterday, their deep dish with sausage, pepperoni, and peppers was great. And service was very friendly, as she was the one who suggested the movie ticket discount that we didn’t know existed. Uno’s, you served me well yesterday. I may not come back to this one as I live over 20 miles away, but you won me over.

I usually come here for a quick lunch, but I’ve stopped in for late dinner as well. The kitchen stays open until 11 and until midnight on weekends. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite pizza ever, but I like that it’s different. The menu is actually pretty large and varied. It’s got most of the stuff you’d see at a Friday’s plus the pizza and a bunch of specialties. The servers have always been attentive. You can get a lunch special there for under $ 8 and it comes out fast. I’ve also made a large order for an office party. The GM was helpful in making sure I the right amount of food, and they passed on the tip straight to the kitchen.

I come here after work with some of my coworkers for a few pints, some shots here and there along with a quick appetizer after a long grueling 8 – 10 hrs. I remember when this place used to have huge barrels of peanuts for you to eat, and after wards you would throw the shells on the floor. The peanut oil from the shell would keep the floor from getting scuffed up, along with keeping a nice coating over top, a natural polish you would say. The bar is small in size they do have booths where you can sit when the bar space is completely over taken. TVs line around the bar so you don’t miss a beat in any sporting even, I did see one or two with actual news on for the non sporting fans. The craft beer selections on tap are limited not like the location in Newtown Sq where it is just a sea of taps after tap after tap. Good ambiance, kitchen stays open to about midnight for you to get that last order in. The bartender every time I would come in has always been on the ball, never missed a beat with my drink, or any of the other patrons that are in there. The wings are good, as far as samplers go, go with the chi-town, its good. I now substitute the fries for something else, normally I would ask for extra wings because sometimes those fries are hit or miss. Wings are always in play, no hit or miss there. For this being a chain restaurant this is OK in my opinion, everyone is different as long as the beers are cold we are good.

We had a gift card so getting a slimy meal for free seemed like the right call. The salad was good, pizza was well done as requested, tasty even if it was a bit small, & the beers were cold & were delivered quick. Our server was attentive, pleasant, & over all did a really good job. While we were eating a Norristown looking couple came in, we’re seated, checked out the menu, & then left. Guess they didn’t have a gift card & could not afford the meal. Sucks for them cause we had a good meal & a good experience.

There are different kinds of «chains»…some bad, some good. For example chain gangs are bad, especially if you have an aversion to roadside manual labor and Southern deputies on horseback that you have to refer to as «boss». Likewise, chain smoking, chain guns, and even chain shot(if you happen to command an 18th century British man-o-war) just bring negative vibes. Well, there are some good chains, and I think Pizzeria Uno does a respectable job. The Chicago Classic pizza, served deep dish with thick mozzarella and sausage, is a longtime solid bet if you want something a little different from the average pie. I’m on to something here… don’t break my chain of thought. Still don’t agree? Well, maybe«what we have here is a failure to communicate»…
