Switch Hair Studio

Pretty fun place to go for hair work. It’s right in downtown Conroe and it’s a rustic (brick wall) type structure. Caroline did a great job on my hair color and when it came out too bright she first time she fixed it with no problem. I’ll definitely go back. Appointments are required

Well, my first experience at this salon wasn’t the best, BUT, the co-​owner, Ashlyn, did contact me after hearing about my experience. She set up an appointment a few days after my initial appointment. She listened to my concerns and what I was unhappy with about my hair and previous appointment. She took her time to go through my cut, keeping as much length as possible, and evened it back out. Knowing what she had to work with, my cut came out great and much more blended. I’ll definitely be back to see Ashlyn for future appointments.

I am always at ease knowing I’m going to Switch to get my hair done. Ashlyn always highlights me just perfectly! From the aromatherapy she puts on my cape to the neck rub to the fantastic cut, I am always so happy when I walk out of this salon. The atmosphere is so relaxed, the staff is so friendly and REAL, you will never want to go anywhere else. The one thing I love the most is that when you come in, you have the SAME person that cuts, colors, shampoos, and then styles your hair. No running around and having to tip multiple people. Ashlyn Kutter is your girl, trust me!

Switch was hired to do the hair for all of the bridesmaids for my best friends wedding. There were 6 of us, and 4 hours to get all of our up-do’s done.
They came and met us at the hotel where we were all staying, and were very accommodating to so many different personalities. Ashlyn was the one who did my hair, and I was so pleased.
She was very personable, funny, and enjoyable to talk to, which is a big deal to me because I can’t stand awkward stylists. My hair was pretty short at the time but I needed an up-​do that included a braid. I wasn’t sure how she was going to pull it off, but she totally did. I got so many compliments on how she styled my hair.
I loved the whole experience! I highly recommend these ladies!

I was recommended to Ali by my sister when I was in college at SHSU. She does such a great job, and I am very picky with my hair. It is thick, course and curly/​wavy and a bad cut can turn it into a hot mess. After I graduated I moved to Pearland, and began the hunt for a new stylist. After several failed attempts paying double what Ali charges, I now drive over an hour to her salon to get my hair done! Ashlyn has also done my hair, she is great too!
The salon is super cute, and they are so fun. It makes a big difference when you are in there for a few hours. I would recommend Switch to anyone!

This is The best salon I’ve been to in a long time. Ashlyn has cut my hair 3 times and I have been satisfied with every time.
Aside from a great cut, I look for an enjoyable atmosphere. When I come I’m greeted my everyone and treated like a VIP. Not only is the staff professional but also enjoyable to be around.

I have fine, thin hair and need a precision haircut. I didn’t get a precision haircut, so disappointed. I would suggest stopping by downtown Conroe to see this 50’s style shop; it was cool.

Ali is the BEST! Always my 1^st choice!
I have long, very thick hair … not a lot of people want to mess with all of that. But she doesn’t mind and has me in and out in under 2 hours… that is with full foil, hair cut and blow dry/​style… everywhere else, it is a minimum of 4+ hours, ugh!!!
She is quick, does an AMAZING job and reasonable prices! Everyone I have sent to her loves her and wont go anywhere else… she is that good!
