Manny’s BBQ & Grill

My husband and I stopped here after he saw it on his way home from work. I came in not wanting BBQ, but l left overstuffed and happy!!! By far the best BBQ restaurant in Conroe. Not only will my hubby bring his work crew back we are bringing my in laws back here too! I had a burger and a baked potato, the burger was well flavored, and the potato was huge… I mean HUGE… And fabulous! My husband had the ribs, chicken and green beans. He swears they had the best flavor that was throughout! We will definitely be coming back here!

I had my company Christmas Party catered by Manny’s. Delivery time was excellent. Food was very good. Staff was very helpful with my catering needs.

My first
Manny’s and was pleasantly surprised. Walking through the front door you smell the aroma of the b.b.q. the establishment is clean and the décor is fitting. We ordered our lunch at the counter, had a seat, and our food was delivered to out table. My husband chose a platter with ribs, brisket, potatoe salad, and beans. I chose a chopped b.b.q. sandwich and fresh cut fries. Our meals were fantastic.
The ribs had a fantastic smoke flaor, the brisket was tender, potatoe salad and beans were tasty. Their b.b.q. sauce is on the vinegar side with a unique twist. So unique it is hard to describe. Overall we were very happy with the meal, but I say the ribs took the top spot. Stop and enjoy Manny’s the next time you are in the area.

Kinda confused on where to go when we first came in. We didn’t know how or where to order, the employees were nice but you could tell they were ready to get off work.
We ordered the rack of ribs, mashed potatoes, green beans, and fried shrimp.
Everything was perfect! The ribs were so juicy and the meat was so tender!
The mashed potatoes were my favorite part they were creamy and the gravy was so good!
The green beans were good as well.
I will definitely return and make this one of our usual date night spots ;)

Service is excellent very welcoming. I did not care for the turkey, they replaced it with beef. Beef a little dry for my taste. Will ask for a little extra sauce next time. Husband enjoyed the spicy sausage dinner and a cup of gumbo.

We have visited this restaurant twice and both times have not been disappointed. The food is absolutely awesome and you walk away full. This has become my all time favorite BBQ restaurant.

Yummy!!! We had the brisket po-​boy baskets. The hoagie was piled high with tender, delicious sliced brisket with the sauce served on the side. I like that., keeps the bread from getting too soggy. Fries & onion rings were just right; not greasy at all. Finished the meal sharing a slice of pecan pie… melt in your mouth good. Dining room was clean, as well as the restroom. Staff was helpful and attentive. We’ll be back!

My wife and I decided to have lunch at this restaurant today for the first time after hearing good things about it from some relatives. The layout of the restaurant is not like any usual BBQ places that I have been to.
When you first walk in you have to walk all the way to the cashier in order to place your order even though there is an area where it would be more suitable to place your order. The staff lacked customer service and did not welcome my wife and I as we walked in, and the cashier seemed a bit off and not all there when taking our order.
The baked potato I had tasted well and had a good flavor to it. The only issue I had was that the meat had no flavor to it and it was too greasy for my taste. Once I reached the bottom. Of the potato all the oil collected at the bottom of the plate which did not look too appetising. The sauce that was added to the potato tasted good and had a kick to it at the end but it tasted good to me. Others may not like this flavor since other BBQ sauces are much thicker and have a smoother sweeter taste to them.
Overall the place is good but needs some work to it as a BBQ restaurant. I will visit again another time and try the sliced beef sandwich and see if I get the same greasy meat. Hopefully the owner or the manager reads this post and listens their customers suggestions.

I ordered the ribs to go for the first time today and they were amazing. I thought Smokey Moe’s had the best ribs but nope that would be Manny’s! The owner knew I was a first timer so he even threw in a couple of extra. I had the baked potato as my side which was yummy and HUGE! Good BBQ is hard to find I’ll def be back. Worth $ 12 although I would throw in a piece of bread to complete the meal.

I couldn’t recommend Manny’s more! It’s absolutely delicious, the brisket is to die for and wouldn’t even need any BBQ Sauce except I’m obsessed with that too! I usually pick up food through the drive-​thru here once a week for dinner and you get to watch them cut your meat and prepared your dish from the drive-​thru window, I love that little touch! Manny’s goes above and beyond with the quality and portions. Let’s just say you’ll never not feel completely satisfied after a meal. The baked potatoes are ginormous and made perfectly! Last, but not least, the restaurant is beautiful from the inside out. I was pleasantly surprised to see a drive-​thru since it looks like a sit down restaurant. Manny’s is now my favorite place to eat, I have to stop myself from going more than once a week! Definitely not your typical BBQ place.

Great food, very tender beef. If your hungry then this is your place. Portions are huge. Served a yummy fathers day meal for entire family.

Ordered dinner to go last night for the second time. The ham and turkey were both pretty good but the brisket was ridiculously dry. It seems like everything I’ve tried here lacks flavor. ESPECIALLY the bbq sauce, which is a mega bummer. There’s just really no taste to it so I was pretty annoyed with myself for pouring it on the super dry brisket lol I had high hopes for this place with it being so close to home. I’ll give other bbq joints in Conroe a try before I return to Manny ‘s.

Delicious! First time I went I got the grilled chicken wrap because I was trying to keep it somewhat healthy. Second time I got the special which was chicken fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was a nice, filling home cooked meal! Order and pay first, then they bring you your food and periodically check on you. Super friendly staff. Good salad bar. Nice, quiet, comfortable, rustic atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Our party tried several things including chopped beef sandwich, onions rings, fried pickles, salad bar, sausage, sliced beef, burger, and baked potato. The sausage and chopped beef, along with the salad bar got negative reviews. The brisket just was not flavored well. The salad bar was room temp, even the dressings, which led to soggy ingredients. The potato was gigantic, and passed for a potato covered in cheese, sour cream and chives. The onion rings were pretty good and stayed firm which is nice.
The bbq sauce is some of the worst sauce I have ever ever ever put in my mouth in my entire life. That was the opinion shared around my table as well. It was just terrible. Thank goodness they had bottled sauces to help salvage the food. A bbq restaurant should always have their own sauce but when you’re bad at something then just accept it and stop. Please stop serving people that sauce. No one deserves it.
The front where you order seems like the process should be to order on the line and then pay, but you pay and they make it and deliver it to your table. The guy on the register seemed confused at times. Also, some things are oddly located like the soda fountain and the utensils. It could mess up the flow if they’re ever really busy.

This place blows Mckenzies out of the water! The food is absolutely fantastic! The ribs fall right off the bone! When you ask for moist brisket, you get really moist brisket! The staff is extremely friendly! May and Alex are focused on making sure that your dining experience is the best possible! If you have any issues with any of the food (I once got brisket that wasn’t as moist as I’d hoped for by accident), they IMMEDIATELY make it right! They will replace anything that you feel isn’t exactly to your standards.
In addition, the value is off the charts! The amount of food that you get for the price is incredible! I’m so glad that they’ve opened up this location in Conroe! We FINALLY have a GREAT alternative to «chain bbq» restaurants.
