This buffet is mediocre at best… The majority of the food is fried and the primary ‘spice’ used is sugar. Totally Americanized. The service was fine, but it was not at all crowded. The ambience … There is none to speak of… The Koi tank was the highlight of our visit. Wish I could be at least a little complimentary, but this place was a great disappointment. We will not be back.

This is the best $ 10(per person) you can spend in town. A few weeks in Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai and two cooking certificates later, this place has some authentic flavors from the its roots. Given, we are in the U.S. and Chinese buffet is Chinese buffet. Unless you are in Chinatown, this is the best you’ll come across. Good food and friendly service. Great quality for the price. Best $ 10 you could spend in town !!!

More than likely, I won’t come back. My boyfriend and I went for lunch and nothing was really fresh. It’s your typical Americanized Chinese buffet. Everything was kind of old and either fried or smothered in a thick, sugary sauce. I can usually find something good just about anywhere but I was very disappointed to see they only had one dish with vegetables in it. I grabbed a couple pieces of sweet and sour chicken, an egg roll, and a spoonful of potatoes; it was all cold. My boyfriend likes the sushi, clams, and oysters so that’s why I gave this place 2 stars. The staff is also not very friendly. Oh well, wanted to try something new so we did. On to the next place.

We have been on a mission to find the best Sushi around and have been very disappointed until We found Hibachi. We have tried all the top places in the Woodlands and couldn’t believe the blane tasteless quality. Now we are addicted to the fresh sushi here and the variety. It is hands down the BESTSUSHI place anywhere around…

Went here today for lunch. The food was not bad, but most of it was warm at best. We went early so the food would be hot and fresh(11:30am). Nothing, not even the soup was hot. Too bad because the selection was large(maybe too large).

If you are looking for a Buffett than look no further… they have it ALL. The food has always been fresh and tasty the times I have been. I usually eat here a couple times a month for lunch.

My 11 year old wanted a Chinese buffet. We’ve been here before and it was good enough to come back. Tonight I was disappointed… I hate that my 11 year old’s dinner was $ 10.50! My dinner wasn’t worth that much. We ate at 7:30 on a Friday night. The sushi chef and hibachi chef bells were constantly ringing for service. I guess they couldn’t be bothered to stay at their post and serve. They have good variety, but on Friday night it’s mostly seafood. It looked like they kept it well stocked. My salt and pepper shrimp was cold, though. The hibachi is pretty good, but they use frozen meats and veggies. Perhaps they cut them fresh then freeze them, but still frozen. The fondue table was a MESS! I expected if to get messy, just not stay messy. Overall, not as good as I remembered. Perhaps we’ll try a best 2 out of 3!

Went here today for lunch and I won’t go back. The fried food was greasy and the other food — well — just didn’t taste good. The place could be cleaner as well. I don’t recommend, but see for yourself.

The dawn of the giant Chinese buffet’s has finally hit the I-10 area. With many of Westheimer, this is a good place for a gorging pit stop before heading into or out of town. Parking is plentiful and seating is massive as it looks like 200 plus people can eat here at the same time. They have options of fried, broiled, raw, basted, steamed, sauteed, and Hibachi grilled foods for customers and have a decent spread of sea and land food. They have a dim sum station and sushi bar. The crème a la crème is the chocolate fountain and a assortment of hand scooped ice cream. Finally, this place is really affordable. Seniors get a discount to the already low prices.

I ate here for dinner and was pleased with what the restaurant offered. There were many selections of food to choose from. There are about 8 buffet stations, plus the hibachi grill and sushi area. Everything I put on my plate was tasty. I would steer clear from the hand dipped ice cream section though… they are self-serve containers in a deep freezer with nothing to stop a cough, sneeze or stray hair from falling in. Dinner price was $ 9.99 plus $ 1.50 for drinks. Lunch is $ 6.99 but offers less food than dinner.

Ok, I have read the previous three reviews. But, I can’t be influenced by them when writing this. I can only tell you about my experience. Had I read those reviews, I may have NEVER tried this place. BUT, it was recommended by a neighbor, and even though it’s unusual for me to do so, we went there without getting a look at a Unilocal review! I would probably give it 3.5 stars if it were an option. But, better than 3 for us. It was for lunch and so far, the best in Montgomery county and best in class(Asian buffet) to date in TX. The server was very attentive clearing plates and refreshing drinks promptly. The food was fresh, from the sushi and hibachi to the buffet items and all tasted great. The buffet items were constantly updated as needed with fresh food, crisp vegetables and well cooked appetizers and entrees. The sushi station had a good variety and was also being freshly made and replenished. And the hibachi station was really good. Nice size shrimp and meats were nice with a good assortment of vegetable and saucing options, hot, mild, ginger, garlic, white sauce, etc. The restaurant was clean, from the tables and dining area, to the visible kitchen area, right on through to the rest rooms. And the price was fantastic, under $ 20 for two buffets and drinks(tea), including the tax!!! As for the previous reviews, Zakiya, I can’t comment on any behavior of management, as we had no interaction. But, we have agreed on other mutual locations. But, Amy, I cannot imagine how $ 6.99 for this buffet could ever be considered«over-priced» or even at dinner for a couple of bucks more. I read your reviews and can’t imagine us ever being on the same page though! lol

This place seemed overpriced with sub-par food. I did not really enjoy any of the food I ate, it was all old or tasted bad. I also felt like the place was not very clean and the buffet tables were not well tended too. I will not be visiting again.

This is your standard Chinese buffet. It does have a decent selection, including chocolate fondue, hibachi, soft serve ice cream, and scoopable ice cream.

When this place first opened we really loved it. The sushi was comparable to a sushi restaurant, the food was delicious and fresher than any Chinese buffet we had been to, and the service was great. We came back a second time and was still impressed although the sushi wasn’t quite as good. We had joked on our first visit however that they would not be able to keep that up too long. The third time I came was for a lunch to go order. I was disappointed by the manager or owner, whomever he is. I purchased my food before I got the to go order and as I was leaving he asked me if I had paid, that’s fine, I told him yes I had paid with the young lady at the register when I ordered. He was very rude and stood in front of me and demanded my receipt. I was surprised but I showed him the receipt and then he was nice and smiled for me to have a great day, it was odd but I let it go. The fourth time we came it was for my son’s baptism and we were meeting family. The same manager was there and he was extremely rude to his staff. Even though he spoke in another language his tone, body language, and facial expressions were very mean and unprofessional. Anyhow we were seated and ordered our drinks and our party of 15 was incomplete as we were waiting for a few people who were running behind. Once they arrived the manager came to our table and barked at us that we needed to eat! Are you going to eat or not?! He shouted. We were very surprised, so much so that no replied we just looked at one another in disbelief and went to get our food. This totally changed the mood of our festive event. I was totally embarrassed and needless to say I will NEVER eat at this place again.
