Dunkin’ Donuts

Absolutely TERRIBLE service, waited behind 1 car at the drive through window last night while the employee hung out and talked to his friend in the car in front of us. We never got what we ordered

Have never gotten the right order from these people. Went today through the drive thru and ordered a small toasted almond iced coffee with extra cream and a chocolate glazed donut. The man read my order back to me perfectly and when I got the window I received the order in a timely fashion. I pulled out and began driving before taking a sip or bite of my order, but when I did wouldn’t you know it was wrong. AGAIN! I got a small toasted almond iced coffee with cream and sugar when I only asked for cream and my chocolate glazed donut turned out to be a chocolate frosted donut. I don’t understand how these mistakes are made at this particular location time and time again.

The coffee is good, but the donuts are below average. A lot like another major chain in the area, these donuts are just flat tasting. I do like that they serve whole milk (white & chocolate) and their rewards program gives a lot of discounts and freebies, but I can’t recommend their donuts. I did finally have a breakfast sandwich a couple of weeks ago and it was good.
They have LOTS a of flavor options for your coffee, hot or cold. I just like my coffee black.

Very friendly staff and their donuts are really good. This place is always clean never had an issue with anything so far.

My son is attending college in Boston where DD’s are abundant. He has become hooked on their coffee and realized a location not too far from our home. We went with our family and split a dozen of very fresh donuts and coffee and outstanding. The owner was on hand and came around to our booth to ensure our happiness. He is congenial and concerned. 5 stars all the way!

I was excited to see this place open but so far they just don’t seem to have it together! The staff is friendly but scattered… The regular coffee is great! The other coffee drinks, not so much. The regular glazed donuts are terrible! They taste like the cheap donuts you get from a Walmart bakery. The flavored donuts are alright… I will only continue to go there on occasion because my wife loves the pumpkin spice donut. It’s back to Shipley’s!

Soooo, I happen to be in love with donuts, even if in my Non-​young kid years where I find they don’t quite like me. I also really like coffee, and DD has been a life long favorite of mine, especially since growing up in the deep south, there were no DD, so when I did get to go to one, it was always a perk. On top of it, this DD is also a Baskin Robbins, so ice cream is to be had as well.
Anyway, I had actually written this DD off already, even if they were only a few months old, because they didn’t seem to want to improve, but then my son drew me back to them and my last trip was actually «better» although some of the aggrevating issues still were there. So, I think I am going to express my concerns to DD and work «with them» since I love them, and not be so hard on them.
With that being said, I still will write the review, but would like the ability to amend later.
Right now, they don’t seem to quite understand how to move customers in and out of a line. They also seem to care more about the drive through people then the people in line, which I find at other places, but still just as annoying. Case in point, two times ago, I walked in, stood there for like 30 seconds in line and left to the car. Backed out, and pulled into the drive through, where no one was and got my coffee and donut and took off, all in about 2 minutes.
They also, regardless of the time, are out of donuts. This is highly unacceptable and to top it off, they are out of the best and most classic donuts, but left with something dumb like pumpkin spice. Hey, you may like it and that’s great, but do they need 4 dozen sitting there at all times, while double chocolate is out? It’s smart for DD to diversify, but a bad business decision to desert their loyal customers and base.
They also haven’t yet figure out how to have the customers order, and then what to do with those customers while they wait for their coffee. I’ve been there enough to know to stand to the side and pick up the coffee over by the BR register, but that’s just because I noticed that was «their» flow.
But, the high points! The donuts are fresh and tasty. Their machines are clean and it shows in the taste. The donuts seem a little small, but that’ ok. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean and so far the staff has been plentiful and clean, although a little young and inexperienced. It would be nice to see them have at least one «seasoned» person, i.e. someone who actually makes more than minimum wage and gives a darn. However the crew so far have all been pleasant. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either.
The menu also has the full range of coffees, iced drinks, sandwiches and more. This most recent Sunday, we as a family all went, had coffee, some munchkins and a couple donuts and it was a really nice relaxing time in Conroe, so I want to give this place some more tries and not be so dead set on my certain donuts. Maybe it’s a sign for me to move on to other things, who knows.

Really unprofessional environment. Management is yelling pretty loud. My ice cream had freezer burn and they broke my first waffle cone so had to wait to get another one. It took forever to get one scoop. Stick to marble slab haha

Went to the actual Dunkin Donut shop, not the Baskin Robbins next door like the other review… the donuts are crazy good and the staff are super friendly and accommodating especially the night staff! Roy was very welcoming and helpful & made our day. DEFINITELY make this our to-​go donut shop! :)
