Conroe Recreation & Aquatic Center

Nice clean facility but the staff needs huge improvements. A lot of young high school and college kids work here which probably explains some of the issues I’ve encountered. Their swimming lessons are decent but the teachers really don’t communicate with parents at all about how your child is progressing. Just an over all lack of communication. Registration for swim lessons is a complete nightmare every time I try to register my kids.
Many times I’ve gone to the front desk there is a gentleman working that is mostly deaf. I think it’s great that they hired him, my problem is you don’t put someone like that at a front desk because he was having such a hard time understanding me that I could tell he was uncomfortable and apologized many times to me. I finally had to write on paper what it was I needed. I wasn’t mad about it, I sincerely felt bad for him and he had a line of people. To me, you should place him in a job that suits him better to where he is not uncomfortable and can do his job without having to worry about people getting impatient with him.

This place is great, got a monthly membership and my own locker for the month for only $ 30. All treadmills, stair masters, machines and free weights. Plus a lap pool and splash pool for kids. TV’s with ESPN on each treadmill and big HDTV’s all over the walls

I’ve just joined the rec center a little I’ve a month ago. $ 28 for non residential membership and $ 20 for a daycare punch card which is 1 punch per child for 2 hours a day. You can’t beat that. The staff is very friendly and the daycare workers are the sweetest to my daughter. I’m just sad I didn’t know about it sooner. I’ve never attended any of the classes but the gym area I live in 5 days a week. Although it would be nice if they had a few other machines, I still manage to improvise. I love this place and recommend it to any one wanting a place to workout at living in the area.

This place is so much fun. 7 dollars for adult admission for the day, and all the fun of a water park. They have concessions that are very cheap compared to going anywhere else. Bring the whole family, you will have a blast.

This place is awesome! My kids love it, it’s cheap, and everyone sleeps the at night when we get home!
