We absolutely love boating over to the dam and having the thousand island burger on the deck. Finishing lunch with the hot fudge brownie sundae makes for a perfect day. The owners and staff are wonderful people.

I have been a long time customer of Bauers Dam Resort, and I can tell you that this place just gets better and better. Donna and Glen are great people, and now Kevin and Jessie are also part of the team — and they are just a great !
Food is always phenomenal, and the Friday Fish is EXCELLENT. The Butter /​Garlic Atlantic Haddock is excellent, and make SURE you order DONNA’s FAMOUS POTATO SALAD — it is to DIE for. Their pizzas are very good, and they have a good variety of other sandwiches and salads (Check out the menu at their website).
They specialize in Leinenkugel products, and offer a full bar.
This is a GREAT place, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good people, good drink, and great food.

My friend and I have come here for the last 4 years. Fishing is great. Donna Glen Jesse Kevin and John are all super friendly. The cabins are amazing. Home away from home. The non-​northwoodsy-​significant-​other will not be uncomfortable.
The soups are a must try. They even manage to have an IPA in the cooler at the Bar. And the best part: no driving to or from the bar as it’s a hundred yards max from your cabin.
However– bring your own towels. :)

We stopped for lunch while on a casual bike ride around the Buckatabons. All 3 of us had just the regular hamburger, but they were very good — juicy and on a very good hard roll. The potato salad side was the best I’ve had in a long time and I strongly recommend it. We ate out on the deck, which is in back, nicely away from the road (which has very little traffic anyway). I’d definitely go back.

While up for a snow mobile trip, the crew stopped in while on the trails. We had a great lunch! The chicken sandwich was fantastic and quick! The place was packed and we really enjoyed it.
