If you are at your cottage on the East Side, or anywhere around Conneaut Lake for that matter, you want to see Bob at Lakeside. Best steak I’ve bought from a butcher. I have a huge extended family from the ‘Burgh, and we meet at Conneaut every year for a week. I always host a steak night, and I always get my steaks from Lakeside. The prices are reasonable and the filets melt in your mouth. This year, I had several cousins tell me that they normally don’t like steak(what is wrong with young people today?), but they loved the steak I grilled for them. An uncle asked what my secret was. I told him just start with the best cut of meat you can find. Oh, and I love their bacon cheddar cheese spread too! And they have a great selection of fine cheeses– got a great Dutch blue cheese for the filets!
