Clean & appears well run! Staff was friendly, fast service & tacos were crispy & just what we wanted! Potato oles were good & crispy! Enjoyed watching the staff greet people & visit with locals, even saw an employee call for a tow truck for a customer!

There is nothing Tex-​Mex about Taco John’s. It is a typical greasy fast food joint known for its potato olé’s. (Think ball-​park nachos but instead of tortilla chips they use «tater tots.»). It’s a chain restaurant mostly in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. Don’t be a food snob if you go here and do not expect real Mexican food. However, if you are drunk and need some cheep greasy carb loaded food to sober up, this is your place.

One star. Not only is the food awful but it’s even insulting Taco Bell to serve tater tots with a «taco». BTW, What is a Taco burger? I’m from TX and I’ve never heard of such a thing. Looks like a bun with Alpo mystery meat. Don’t throw your food out the window like I did or you may be fined for dumping hazardous waste. If you are unfortunate enough to be driving through this area and see a cardboard cowboy named Taco John, than my suggestion would be to keep on driving pilgrim.

Great Food for a fast food place. You can actually eat there food and not get gut rot. Fast service. Friendly staff. Very clean Bathrooms. My fast food place of choice!

Good little tex-​mex fast food joint thats not too overplayed like taco bell, get the potato oles with cheese! also they have some cool deserts!
