I’m going with four stars but really there isn’t a reason they don’t have five. I was able to get a decaf chai latte with almond milk and I was super happy — not many places have almond milk. However, I did pay $ 5.34 before tip for a large. Numi tea. I did not have their breakfast quiche, but it sounded great. A few bakery items and a veggie platter available, but no lunch. Employees were very cheerful and nice.

They don’t accept American Express credit cards. The shop smells really nice and they have a decent selection of pasties! They also offer whole bean and ground coffee for purchase. The coffee selection is extensive and quite impressive!

WHITEMOUNTAINGOURMETCOFFEE at 15 Pleasant Street in Concord has refused to honor the gift certificate that was raffled off for the Mom Prom charity event. :(There was an «expiration date of 6÷30÷15» on it… I did try several times to use(they are only open until 4:00PM). I explained to them that the NH State law prohibits the expiration of gift cards under $ 100.00 dollars and that they ought to honor it. Additionally they should honor it in the spirit that the certificate was sold was for charity, and for basic customer service… I will have to go back and meet with the owner. Presumably on a Saturday because of their limited business hours. The clerk flat out refused to honor it despite this being brought to their attention.

Best café mocha I’ve ever had. These people are real baristas. I had 1 shot of espresso, in ½ decaf ½ caffeinated coffee with peppermint syrup. Smoothly blended. Too bad they aren’t where I live; this would be my go/to coffee house. Let me also declare that I’m not really into coffee. For dilettantes like me, here is where your addiction begins.

Bullet point review: –Smells very good inside: employee credits that to roasting the beans there, which results in higher quality espresso –Layout of menu is big and easy to read –Employee was pleasant and helpful with my questions –Were cool with people sitting to drink their coffee before paying –Very open area, at least ten tables –Many products on display to purchase from syrups, to grinders and ground coffee –Shipping boxes in the open would have been better elsewhere –Layout seems fairly standard, with plants and carpeting –Food out on display like Dunkin Donuts looked shabby –Music in the background seemed to be a mix, Sweet Home Alabama and a Rhianna song –My vanilla iced latte was heavy on the syrup, but the espresso had a subtle taste to it –I was disappointed their blueberry scone tasted like a muffin top, not a scone.

One of the best coffee shops in town! I eat gluten-free and unfortunately they only had one thing available and that was the macaroons, so I went ahead and tried it and loved it! French roast coffee goes well with it(I’ll drink just about any type of coffee). Would recommend this place to other people.

Quite possibly the best place on earth. Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Always a good selection of great tasting coffee and espresso drinks.

Disappointment. NH seriously has the worst coffee places, and lack there of. Tried this out last week. $ 6 for an iced latte? Seriously? I drank half and threw it out. The only thing I liked about this place is they carry Monin syrups, so you don’t have to order online. Don’t plan on returning, unless I have a hankering to buy Monin.

I was working in the city and stopped by this small shop on Pleasant St. The atmosphere was welcoming and old town décor was a nice touch. I was unimpressed however with the iced chai I ordered, but would still be willing to come back to try the coffee. Also I had trouble using the WiFi, but this could be user error.

Gone are the lunch items! To focus on coffee?!? Seriously each time I order a latte I have regret it. It always tastes burnt and lacks that silky foam on the top. The smell of coffee beans being roasted pulls me in each time but best bet is to stick to traditional coffee and avoid anything«fancy» in this place. What it has going for it is location.

I went in to purchase coffee for Christmas gifts and ended up staying for lunch. The place was so busy!!! I have never seen so many choices for coffee and drinks. The staff was very attentive! We got the lunch special of grilled cheese and soup. We got the cheddar and tomato soup. Both were good. They also had milk in glass containers from a local farm, which was great. If you are looking for flavored coffees in whole bean this is the place to go!!!

If you were looking for hot chocolate as if it was made by else in the north pole then this is the place you must try. It makes Dunkin donuts hot chocolate taste like water when you try their delicious creamy hot chocolate.

I just paid over four dollars for a small coffee with Doubleshot. I generally have no problem paying good product but that’s steep. I pay a dollar less at Riverwalk in Nashua, which is not underpriced. And to top it off person behind the bar was not confident with making coffee. That said, trip coffee and pastries what you want in the morning this is likely the best place in Concord. But, like somebody around here, if you’re extremely picky with coffee free you are going to want to look elsewhere.

Fantastic spot, and a must for serious coffee lovers. Only reason they lose a star is because the eggs on the breakfast sandwiches are microwaved. Taste is not an issue though; nailed it.

Ok, so first time Unilocaler here. This is by far the worst iced chai I have ever had. I was charged 6 dollars for a medium cup(which if it was amazing would still be wicked expensive but for local prices not entirely outrageous). However the guys prepared the whole thing sneakily in the fridge which I thought was strange so I peered around the counter and realized that the guy was pouring Tazo brand concentrate into my cup! If I had wanted to drink straight concentrate from the store mixed with milk I could have done that for $ 3.99 from any supermarket. Plus since the mix clearly wasn’t well diluted, it tasted awful. I”m sure their coffee is decent but because of this experience I’ll never know and I will never recommend it. If you are a coffee shop that advertises hand crafted beverages do it the right way or don’t do it at all. Sincerely, The guy who is apparently now a coffee snob

They have a great, very homemade looking, muffin selection. The blueberry crumb is probably my favorite muffin ever. Every time I have had it, it is super fresh., still warm out of the oven, and is chock full of brown sugar and juicy blueberries. I’ve gotten a few espresso drinks here, never tried the coffee. the drinks have been fine, and the service is really friendly, but the muffins are definitely the highlight for me.

…been going to this place almost every Friday for 15 years. Best coffee in Concord… no contest. And, wide variety too. Second, the muffins are great. There is a good variety and they are large and good. All the oat bran and oatmeal muffins are excellent, as are the corn muffins. Staff has always been friendly and competent. If the place had any kind of decent ambiance, I would give it 5 stars. But, no can do. The décor leaves much to be desired and what passes for music is noise served over a 3-inch speaker in a clock radio that may have been salvaged from a dump. Another downside is the lack of Wi-Fi … probably the last coffee house on the planet without it. One goes to the WMGC for the coffee and muffins, not for the ambiance.

I just happened on this place while passing through town with my family, but really liked it right away. The whole place felt open and cheerful, the décor was simple but didn’t make it feel plain, the focus was always on the coffee, which was great. The ice cream was very good, too.
