Tower Grille

Lunched here with a business colleague. Waitress was very inattentive and dismissive.
We had to ask for menus after sitting for more than 15 minutes. She served our meals w/​no silverware and napkins… but it was her attitude that was the spoiler.
We had to seek help from Bartender… found him to be friendly.
Appreciated the Bartender’s efforts, but will not return.

Food was ok. I had the meatloaf and mash potatoes. Drinks were good. BUT !! they charged my C/​C twice same night. I called next day and they said they would look into it and call
Me back. It’s been 2 days and no call back. They have not got a refund either. Watch out !!! I am going to call back again today. Hope they don’t keep thinking it’s ok to double charge and not call back. Not sure if I would go back at this point. Unless I have to go talk to manager !

Called Tower to get info on menu item; asked follow up question. Woman on phone clearly didn’t know the answer and was flustered. She «accidentally» hung up on me.

2 stars only because the fish and chips were decent. Walked in and there was no one there to greet us. Sat at a table outside, the inside seemed a bit run down. Ordered a moscow mule and a basil cocktail which were absolutely disgusting. The shrimp tacos were soggy and smothered in watered down coleslaw, ordered steak bites medium-​rare and they came out RARE basically still mooing. No interest in ever going back.

Picked up an order for a friend here and they couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge me. Rude ass bartender, I will never eat here.

Well been here a lot yet tonight for taco Tuesday it was bad. Ran out of beer, no cold beer or glasses– really this is a bar right? I will not consider this as a go to Concord bar anymore. Forgot to mention the glasses tasted like bleach what a mess you would think k they just opened? Food was only fair and service slow.

Terrible service and even worse food. We waited for almost an hour for our food. The pizza tasted worse than frozen pizza. Never again! Save your stomachs. Don’t come!

We sat on the patio, and our server disappeared after we received our food. Our food came and to my horror, I noticed a huge CHUNK of something??? in my water, which warranted in me needing a new water.
I never got a new water because she took so damn long. Why I didn’t just get up and go to the bar myself? Who knows…

We had really friendly service this weekend when we came in on Saturday for brunch. Food was delicious too. Wife ordered Benedict Florentine and I had the plate with eggs, potatoes, and really crispy bacon! We split a garlic fry before breakfast and it was awesome.
The bartender was busy refilling the bottomless mimosas at the tables all around us, so it took a long time to get some water, but she eventually got to us and made a tasty Bloody Mary that Amy enjoyed too.
We watched plate after plate walk by covered in generous portions of food that all looked drool-​worthy. Lots of TVs on the walls and delicious food. We walked around Todos Santos Plaza after brunch — this is an all-​around great place to start the day!

I love tower hour 3 – 4 check out what I mean. This place is usually packed, there’s plenty of outdoor seating and so much to do after your meal, great location everything from gas stations, bookstores and banks within the same block. I really love most of the servers here. I have to give kudos to Amanda and Jose for their way of making you feel right at home.

Arrived on a Tuesday night after a meeting at about 8 pm. Struck up a great convo with Rob our host and server. He’s a very cool dude. His motto is ‘If you’re not happy with your meal, we’ll get you something else’. BLT was great, husband ordered Chicken Caesar salad and garlic fries. 2 glasses of wine, an ice tea $ 50 ish. Full bar. Nice vibe. Happy patrons. Sports on TV, Juke box.

Soooo this place is ridiculous. I don’t think the owner knows what’s going on here. The cooks are taking shots, the bar tenders are taking shots. The bar tender Nicky (Nicole) is a straight soccer mom boring ass grandma bartender. It’s Saturday night, there are 27 people in the bar and she called last call at 10:30 pm. She also brought her friend behind the bar… I’ve been coming here for 3 years and this is BAD… I really hope the owner sees this.

I just returned from this faux impersonation of the Danville Tower Grille. First off, my sister and I walked into the restaurant to not be greeted by any waiter or server. After a matter of a few minutes we decided to seat ourselves. During our twenty minute sit to be waited on, my sister and I debated on the variety of other restaurants that we could have sojourned to as opposed to this dump. Finally, we were greeted by a sloven looking waiter who took our drink orders and immediately demanded our orders (despite not seeing a menu). Another twenty minutes passes, we finally place our orders for two veggie sandwiches (yeah I’ll admit it, I had a veggie sandwich). The sandwiches arrive and both are incredibly cold/​unappealing.
I’d recommend venturing out to the Danville Tower Grille instead of this shit joint. Better yet, just go to Vinny’s and suck down 10 pints.

Sooooooo… I was hungry… guess what I do when I’m hungry??? Eat food!!! I happened along this side of grant street just not sure where I would go eat at and all. It came down to the salad place or Tower Grille – well, obviously I chose Tower Grille hence I’m writing the reveiw here.
I walked in a little after 3pm today – this place was hopping!!! Being as it was my first time here, I discovered that it’s open seating. Something that I noticed to the right when I walked in was a music system where one can use a credit card to chose the music they want to play.
I decided to sit away from the crowd, if I was to take a guess this eating place seats about 75 – 100 people. I decided upon ordering a Tuna melt, then I had to decide what side to come with it??? Onion rings, which I haven’t had in some time. Rob was my server-​and he hit it out of the park!!! One thing he told me that I don’t think any server will ever tell me again was along the lines of «I don’t like it, or it doesn’t taste good, let me know and I’ll get you something else.» Rob is a great guy, and did a fantastic job, my favorite server of all time happens to be the gorgeous asian gal at this eating place in Oakland, not to worry Rob– you rocked it big time!!! Sooooo. I found out when I was in the Men’s room that the bottom lock doesn’t work, so make sure to lock the top one.
They also have a special on drinks during the week Mon-​Fri from 3pm-​4pm. I also found the Men’s room to be plenty clean!!! Yahoo!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TOWER GRILL YOU MEET MY RESTAURANT SATISFACTION REQUIREMENT – which is when I leave the place that I just ate at, I’m full. With tax+tip the total came to $ 17.00 for PLENTY of food. I’m sure I’ll be back sometime.

Walked into Tower Grill at 3p on the DOT!
Katie our kind and bubbly server exclaimed. «Hi Ladies, it’s Tower Hr!» Dollar Domestic draft and $ 3 micro brews also draft.
My Bestie and I were pleasantly surprised and happy we decided to stay despite the lack of seating. It was a full house and Katie was tending to majority of the tables inside and outside. She was literally flying through the restaurant, brews and pitchers in hand and not spilling a lick.
We also rolled up on Wing Wednesday. Score! Yo girl loves wings. 8 wings for $ 7, I can roll with that. So we ordered those and some dainty show string fries ($ 4.) along with a Stella for my Bestie and a White Witch IPA for me ($ 3 each)
Tower Grill comes equip with a full bar, bar seating, high tables, booth seating, outdoor seating, juke box, full lunch and dinner menu, happy hour menu, and small bites.
I’ve been here a few times. Haven’t had much food besides the appetizers. Try the deep fried avo they’re amazing and not greasy what’s so ever. The crowd is okay. A teensy bit divey but the great drink prices kinda give that away.
Overall Tower Grill is a nice edition to downtown concord. Great spot to meet up for drinks with a group of friends since they have a little something for everyone.

NFL Sunday Primetime Game.
There were about 20 other patrons in the restaurant. Not crazy busy, but for a small place, it was steady. Buddy and I sat at the bar with no wait.
Nicole, our bartender, acknowledged us right away and took our drink orders within a couple minutes. She’s friendly and will strike up a conversation, but I get the sense to not mess with her.
Take care of your bartenders as they take care of you.
All in all, a good night of football and beer. I have been here plenty of times, but just now noticed how much cheaper the tall glasses were compared to the other places around the area. Even though I did not get any food this time, they do have delicious pub style eats.

We needed someplace to go to let crowd thin out after seeing Foreverland at Todos Santos music in the park Thursday. I mean there had to be at least 1000 people there.
Welp, that was the correct decision. The beer was cold, the crowd mellow and the lemon drop was the best. Oh and the chicken wings were too bad either.
I will defiantly be hitting up this spot again, the bartender was nice and made one of the best lemon drops I have tasted oh yeah and some more of those chicken wangs!

Tower Grille is location right smack in the middle of downtown Concord. The location is great, outside patio seating, full bar and big screens inside. Place has a good feel to it, like a favorite neighborhood sports bar with food. All your sports channels are playing at once, to distract you from the super slowwwwwwwwww service. Yes, that’s slow with one extra w’s. Don’t get me wrong, the service is still pretty good, the staff is friendly, very polite, just took forever for anything.
The food choices were pretty ok, but all tasted really good.
I ordered the Cuban sandwich and buffalo fries. Can’t go wrong with ham and roasted pork with delicious cheese. The buffalo fries were fried and toss in buffalo sauce and fried again.$ 11 plus $ 1 for extra yummy fries. Mmmmmmm…
Wife had the Friday special, fish and garlic fries. The fish was good, not great. The batter was just right, nice and crispy. The garlic fries were killer, just enough garlic but enough to drive Dracula away. $ 13.99 plus $ 1 for garlic fries
The kiddo got the kids cheese pizza, but decided to add toppings to it. Turned out ok, it was huge, 12 inches across. The crust is too thick, but you can’t expect much from items from the kids menu. $ 7 plus $ 2 for the toppings.
Drinks were cheap too, $ 5 beers.
In the end, they ended up giving me a $ 15 discount. I am guessing it was for the slow service, but I really dunno. I just noticed it on the check when it came, I didn’t bother asking, that would’ve take too long :)
Overall, I would have given it 5 stars, it was a present experience with pretty good food. But… 1 star discount for the slowness.

We absolutely love tower grill! We go so often the servers know our orders. The patio outside is perfect on a nice day. A cold beer and people watching paired with enjoyable conversation with my husband is my perfect weekend afternoon. It is right accross from the farmers market on Sundays which can get busy. But each time we have gone we enjoy ourselves very much. The menu has also recently grown so no longer have I had everything they serve. Next time I will try to order something other than my favorite chicken sandwich add bacon. LOL.
Oh and they do have brunch on weekends. I will update review once I try that.
All of the servers and rest of staff is friendly. Bethany, however is the best at making sure our beers are always full.

I love me some Tower Grill. Just what downtown Concord needed. Sometimes service is slow but that’s because there’s not enough staff. Makes me no difference because the food and specials are great!

The staff that is there is quality. There’s only a handful but they do their best. I wish the place had seating to accommodate larger groups. But when the weather permits we just take over the patio.
