That lamb swarma is killer. Admittedly I’m a sucker for swarma but I recommend this spot. Prices are average and the service is solid.

Tried the regular falafel wrap and it was just alright. The falafel itself was pretty decent, but for some reason the dish in its entirety was pretty lacking of flavor. The sauce they use is not the tzatziki is not like«normal» tzatziki sauce, and very lack luster, also it had a purplish tint to it. Odd. Also, every time I go in there, the place always smells strongly of cleaning chemicals. Does anyone else notice this? It’s a good place to grab a quick and inexpensive bite, but definitely better falafel wraps out there.

I have to go into this place with blinders so I don’t see the dirt. All I care about are the Lamb Shawarma. It is just to fulfill that craving about twice a year. The location and building — ugh. But, for that once in a while place, it is good. Take it to go and it won’t bother you so much.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to this little place and was happy to find it still there. The combo lamb and chicken salad was super tasty. The Turkish coffee was strong and sweet. I love the murals and the service was friendly and helpful. However, the place just isn’t that clean. It needs a thorough scrub down.

The food is usually spot on, though the chicken hurt my stomach once so I avoid it now. The customer service is usually pretty good, but I am almost 100% sure they talk crap about customers while their customers are still there which is a little unprofessional and immature. Overall pretty good.

I was in Concord for a powerlifting meet(just watching) and this place was near by so we went here for lunch. This place was quite small but big enough to fit a small party. I ordered chicken shawarma combo. This dish comes with a lot of carbs. It came with chicken(obviously), rice, and 2 sides. For the 2 sides, I got hummus and pita bread with Greek pasta. I really enjoyed the chicken shawarma. It was packed with of flavors and it wasn’t dry. The rice was just rice. The pita bread was decent but nothing special. It was thin but a little dry. The Greek pasta was more on the sour side. I didn’t like it. In the end, I mainly ate the chicken with some pita bread and hummus. I’ve had better but it wasn’t bad, it was just okay.

5 stars for a fast food Mediterranean joint! Delicious! I really have been craving the chicken shwarma plate! The combo comes with sides of your choice– I highly recommend the baba ganoush and the cucumber salad. The service was good and price was reasonable. You order at the counter, find a seat, and wait for your food. We ate there, but also an easy to-go place. Parking is ample. some of the people hanging around the shopping center can be a little shady. don’t let this detour you. The Mediterranean is worth the visit!

Came here for the first time and was not impressed. I ordered a chicken kabob only to stand there and watch the chef cook my kabobs without skewers! Then i watched him cut my nice sized chunks of chicken in half while cooking on the grill! I think any cook knows what happens when u start cutting meat on the grill as it cooks! Its gets dry! All my chicken was overcooked and was all charred around the ends. I did not even enjoy the salad as the cucumbers were flimsy and translucent. I most likely will not eat here again.

Combo wrap was pretty good. Very meaty! Maybe I should’ve went with the chicken or just the lamb first before the combo wrap; But I thought it was pretty good. I will try this place again and get one meat in particular next time. And then I’ll narrow it down. I love both chicken and lamb, but maybe having both meats might be overwhelming for some. I just got a piece of baklava and it was pretty delicious. And the people working behind the counter were very nice.

I’m sorry to see this place go down the sh**ter. I used to come here ALOT, like once a week almost, but then I moved out of state. Coming back home I was happy that I had a local Mediterranean place to go to, but my last visit was so gross I will never go back. I’m pretty sure this place is under new ownership, being that I don’t remember having to go up to the cash register to ask for napkins that any other place would just have sitting at each table-penny pinching possibly? On top of that, the place reeked, I mean it smelled like rotted meat, with a hint of pine-sol. I would have left just smelling that, but I decided to give it the ol’ college try, especially since my boyfriend had fond memories of it. The food was not the same, it seemed old and lacking the passion. I wish I had at least one good thing to say about this place, but I don’t, I would skip this place for sure.

Not quite sure if my meal was just an anomaly, but I was very unimpressed with it. first off, I am a lover of Mediterranean food and my relationship with hummus is enough to make my girlfriend jealous, but I do not presume to be an expert in the regional flavors of the Mediterranean. I just go by taste. So please take this with a grain of salt. I ordered a side of hummus and pita bread. the pita bread was fine. But the hummus was ridiculous. it literally tasted like plain milk. even the consistency was more like a milkshake than hummus. I don’t know if maybe they mix in milk to make more or what, but I couldn’t even eat it without being grossed out. I had the lamb wrap. it was alright as far as how it was cooked. But it had almost zero flavor whatsoever. I don’t know what sauce they put on it, there was a lot cuz it was dripping all over the place, but it didn’t taste like anything. I had to ask for some hot sauce just to have at least SOME flavor. Oh and when they gave me hot sauce, it was in a super tiny little cup, not much bigger than a thimble. The wrap, pita bread & hummus, and a small drink came to almost $ 16. Not at all worth it in my opinion.

Good price, GREAT food and quick service. Can you ask for anything more? Sure, you could, but that would be unreasonable. Found this place while killing time in the area waiting for a car repair. I was looking for indian food, but will always happily settle for good mediterranean. In this case, an exceptional falafel wrap. The wrap was pressed and the falafel was not nearly as dry as I’m used to, so these are both plusses. I also got a side of fries, which perfect. The environment is a relatively spacious(at least, it wasn’t crowded) eatery with pretty murals all throughout the restaurant. The staff were attentive and polite to everyone who came in. I haven’t tried anything else in the whole plaza, but I’m going to tentatively say this is the best place there. I know, it’s a bit early, but I’m willing to take that risk.

Pretty good food, extremely friendly service. I only wish I remembered this place more often as I’m often driving by it after I’ve already eaten somewhere else. I love their lamb kabobs over rice with the salad. it’s like the perfect plate.

I feel like this place dropped in quality recently. But my falafel was still delicious, my salad was satisfying, and my baklava was on point so I guess I really don’t have anything to complain about. Maybe it’s just peer pressure. Can I also take a moment for some of the most handsome men I have ever seen behind a cash register ever? I appreciate it.

The food was good, but the service is what stuck out the most for me. I ordered the lamb kabab combo. The lamb was good! The lamb was not overcooked and very tasty. The reason for 2 stars for me was the service. I waited for quite a long time for my order versus people who came in after me and ordered the same thing and left before me. I noticed if you knew the cook that helped process your order a lot faster. I will definitely not be coming back.

First thing’s first — why are Marilyn Monroe and JFK painted on the bathroom door? My veggie sampler was decent. The hummus and baba ghanoush were excellent, but the cucumber salad and tabbouleh took up way too much of the plate and they were pretty bland. The hummus wrap was fabulous, but be sure not to take all the foil off — it’s a ridiculous, delicious mess if you do. We also ordered the mujaddarah, which is supposed to be a mixture of brown lentils, caramelized onions, and warm spices. Theirs, however, had yellow lentils, fresh onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers. It just wasn’t right at all.

It’s been years since we last ate at The Mediterranean and I have to say the food has changed. We always get the Shawarma plates. The meats was really dried out no flavor. The dolmas are way too soft and mushy. I don’t know if the ownership has changed but the people working there don’t seem to be the original staff.

I’m not one to eat mediterranean food, but I was craving something else other than Asian food that day I went. I got the chicken shwarma wrap and it was pretty delicious! I think the way they prepared the veggies and sauce was flavorful and complemented the whole wrap in general. It had a combination of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers that were seasoned or pickled, but they had good natural and fresh flavors. I was pretty full after eating the wrap too so it was a good buy and well worth it. Their service isn’t that fast, but they were very friendly and their food was pretty good, so I think I’ll be coming back to try their other entrees.

I’ve definitely had better Greek food. I had the Greek Salad, and also Lamb & Chicken Kebabs. The salad was nice and fresh. The meat was a bit over cooked, and salty; still I ate it all. Their Tahini sauce was just your basic Tahini sauce. I ended the meal with their Turkish Coffee. It tasted like some regular coffee. I bet my rating would be higher if I’d tried one of their wraps, or something adventurous. They had some good looking desserts like Baklava and Turkish Delicate in the case too! The restaurant is small and divey which is fine, but pretty warm inside because of the grill. The service wasn’t all that warm really. I could tell they didn’t really love me. :)
