UPDATE: Still great a great place with great staff and great beer. But they lose one star for the tacky crotch lighting at the bar. Eureka!

Excellent tap list! The bartender was knowledgeable and very accommodating, he let me try 3 sour beers before I settled on what to buy. Highly recommended!

Ahhhh, life is very good today. Weather couldn’t be any more perfect, music any more mellow, the range of their 21 taps any more better! I’ve had a Pliny the Elder from Russian River and a Sierra Nevada Saison Farmhouse Ale so far. Familiar and welcoming faces Aaron and Kevin capped off another perfect day at this establishment!

I stopped by a few seconds days ago, had a great beer. Today I bring my husband to try this wonderful beer.
They changed it out. Dame. Don’t think we will be back.

Great beers, always a fun spot to spend an evening in todo santos.

They have a great selection of beer, absolutely awesome. But the wait staff felt disinterested and didn’t even bother once to ask us what we’d like to drink or even eat. Granted, the pub has more of a «do whatever you want» kind of feel to it, but the wait staff was disappointing. The food was good, and I expected those prices. I’d go back again, but this time just for the beer.

Great beer! They have an extensive menu of both: beers on tap and bottled beers. They will even bring you a tablet which gives you a current list of the beers on tap, when the kegs were tapped, and how much is left in each keg. The waiters are quite knowledgeable about each beer on the menu. I thought it was nice how they would ask you if you were ok with a particular flavor or taste, when you ordered one. It is always nice to have a heads up about those types of things, especially when the beers they have are so unique.
Beers on tap range from $ 5.50 to $ 6.50. They also have a variety of small bites available.
Bonus tip: if you go on a Monday from 5 – 9 Todos Santos has a variety of food trucks to choose from. This place allows you to bring that food to the patio area at no extra charge as long as you are ordering something tasty to drink.

Love this place. Rad selection of beers. I’ve yet to try the food items they offer but they all look pretty tasty. The service has always been on point.

Date night in Concord (before a concert) and my husband loves IPA. This seemed like a no brainer. 21 beers on tap and a great selection of craft brews in the fridge. I love the fact that they would let me try a small sample before committing to a beer, especially since I don’t like IPAs or hoppy beers. The guys working were awesome and really made our visit enjoyable.
The out door seating was fantastic and they are dog friendly. My only complain was the food selection. Lots of carbs but no protein. I was looking for something like chicken wings or shrimp. They do offer a couple sandwiches and a cheese platter but we just wanted finger foods and I’m lactose intolerant so the cheese (as good as it looked) was a no go us.

Jason, Nick, Tracy, Eric, Aaron and all the crew at the place make it so easy to feel welcome and keep on coming in, either after a long day at work or just to taste what’s new on my days off.

Love this place! Great ever-​changing beer selection, fair prices and friendly staff/​service. Not a huge food menu, but let’s face it, you’re coming for beer. The large hot pretzels are yummy and the olives/​crackers go well with the beer. Come when it’s nice outside and the patio is relaxing, or stay inside and watch a game.

This place is okay. The beer is good and I like that they have their taps online so you can see whats being poured. The food is kind of sad. Beef Jerkey still in the bag, small sandwich with chips and flat bread pizza… Basically stuff I only eat to keep me fed while I drink beer, all of it is overprice and under whelming in flavor. Service is pretty good as the staff is knowledgeable and cordial., though I wouldnt say friendly. They have a great bottle selection.
Lastly this is about the wait a few weeks ago for Pliny and the Younger. Line was forming at 9AM. I got there at 10. Felt pretty confident that I would get my 2 beers (as I counted the number of people in front of me and had calculated how many pours they had). Unfortunately for the next hour and a half I watch people file and fill in the line in front of me. By the time time they opened enough people had filled in to consume all of the delicious evasive beer. I was the 2^nd person in line when they ran out. I dont know if you know how terrible that is. I think they need a better system that would prevent the hordes of line cutters from ruining this for everyone. Give out tickets when people get there… This really is a small problem that could be resolved with a little forethought.

Very chill environment. They play all kinds of music and have a large listing of brews.

If you’re looking for a place to be among true beer connoisseurs, this is it.
Every time I come here, I always meet someone who knows waaay more about beers than I do (I once considered myself well-​versed in the language of Brewski-​nese, but as it turns out, I don’t even KNOW.)
There’s a cool and useful display behind the bar that shows which brews are currently on tap, as well as how much is still left in each keg.
You’ll see some familiar names on the display, offering their lesser-​known, but oh-​so-​good varieties. You’ll also see some awesome local craft offerings you’ve probably never heard of before.
The outdoor patio seating is excellent, and situated in the heart of the Plaza, near the fountain and across the street from the park.
The Hop Grenade is a great place to bring friends and show off the best of what Concord has to offer.

The beer is excellent and there’s a display that it tells you if it’s been recently tapped and what the current keg level is.
They have a few decent snacks on the menu I really like the firecorn — Popcorn infused with jalapeños.

A brightly lite, super casual brew-​house type atmosphere with a wonderful list of beers to choose from. They also have with some simple bar bites to go with your beer if you’re hungry.
I was in Concord for a 3 day training for work, my co-​worker and I came by after dinner for some beer since we heard great things about this place from some Concord natives! They certainly pointed us in the right direction because we spent the rest of our Wednesday night unwinding at the Hop Grenade!
They have over 20 beers on tap with the menu displayed on a flat screen TV, making it easy to change their selections on a daily basis. I was craving something particularly light and refreshing and ordered a Lemon Lily, a sour beer with citrusy notes. It was so perfect. My co-​worker ordered a Pure Happiness and the name speaks for itself! I could tell she was in a blissful place after a sip. I stuck to sour beers for the rest of the night while my co-​worker was a bit adventurous and tried a few more.
The staff here are so friendly. If you’re unsure about what to get, definitely ask for a taste, they’d be glad to give you a sample! Want to unwind at home? They have a great selection of bottled beers that will suit anyone’s taste!

Let me start by saying I have beer here at least 1 a month. The location is perfect for me. I can drink and walk safely back home in less than 15 mins. It’s also in the heart of todos santos plaza therefore surrounded by other shops and restaurants. The outdoor patio is also a great seat when there is music in the plaza.
The beer selection is okay and actually great for the demographic of the area. I usually go to Beer Revolution in Oakland, where there are about 50 taps so the 24 or so they have here simply falls short on selection in my book. But for what it’s worth there are usually a couple really interesting or delicious brews to choose from. They also serve bar bites, cheese, sandwiches and a Bavarian Pretzel that taste amazing with a cold brew.
My only gripe with this place is the service. There is one server in particular who doesn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu or beer at all. They all seem overworked and overwhelmed. The service here isn’t bad but nothing special either.
All in all I’m grateful for somewhere beside EJ Phair to grab a brew and a bite.

Why did we wait so long to discover the Hop Grenade? A good addition to the Todos Santos scene.
Our party of three enjoyed 7 different brews. Fun way to try a variety of beers. Two of us split a very tasty corned beef/​sauerkraut sandwich on ciabatta. The ciabatta bun held up better than the traditional rye. Came in a basket with kettle chips and a few tiny gherkins. The third person in our party opted for the jalapeño popcorn. Proceed with caution … but a great option for a taproom pushing beer!
The day was a bit warm so we opted to sit inside. Good décor with use of the logo throughout the establishment.
Only two complaints, Hard to read the menu from where I was seated … thank goodness for my phone. (I understand the beer menu will change frequently.) Also we had to hunt down the «bites» menu. We were unclear if food was served all the time or only at certain hours. Food, for me, is a definite must here. Am looking forward to checking out more options for both beer and bites in the near future.

Really great big selection of taps and a unique bottles. Six dollars for two little pretzels and mustard (boo to no cheese) was just what we needed after a solid night of drinking elsewhere.
Super good name and logo, too.
