Bad customer service. Won’t accept returns for items bought at other Ace stores. No wonder why people go to Home Depot! Check out the Ace in Bedford instead. Far better service and selection.

Hit or miss with the service. I’ve had tremendous service from a couple of people (Bruce the manager being one) and I’ve had poor service from others (no names but let’s just say he’s seen his fair share of years and should know better) — even in the same visit (thanks Bruce).

I had been shopping at this hardware store for over 25 years. However the service has gone down so much I now avoid this store even though it is perhaps the most convenient to where I live. Asking them to help load 5 bags of fertilizer — you would have thought I was asking them to carry it home and spread it too. This was the last straw. The staff is arrogant, and actually try to avoid talking to you. There are other better, more customer helpful hardware stores in the area.
