Nation’s Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies

We ordered two single egg meals, nothing fancy or complex. We waited 25 minutes and when they finally got to our number, it was never called. We listed as 4 numbers after us were called, still didn’t hear our order called. So I go up to the front and ask about the order and it some how was lost. So they quickly moved the lost order to the front of the line and had our food to us a few minutes later. They also apologized for the lost order and gave us a free strawberry tart. I will say, losing an order is not the end of the world, but when you go the extra step to correct the mistake and make right with the customer, that speaks volumes. Thank you to the staff for quickly acting on issues that arises and knowing how to handle it correctly.

The cashier lady is rude as fuck, the food is meh. But that’s what’s expected when you get shitty service and an attitude to begin with. Also, is this place solely for adults? My toddler can’t eat a fucking adult sized burger, the idea of a children’s menu should be revisited instead of offering condescending answers to your customers.

This was the very first time I visited this chain… i went for vegetarian burger. I got exactly what I wanted, easy ordering, super fast and friendly. Absolutely 110% will be back… i come to Concord CA often and definitely will be back

I ate a few times at nations and their breakfasts are real good The place was clean and the employees were very nice.

Mixed feelings here:
Grilled chicken burger was a disaster, — too much fat. It never happen to me before in any other nations giants.
But stroberry cheesecake was a blast.
Place was clean overall, very nice booths, but bathroom was not very well maintained.
Service was smileless, but they actually cut me a piece of cake that I bought that was nice.
So it was a mix between 2 and 5 stars. Summarizing 3 stars. Mostly because of the chicken

Nations your cool and rad and old school. Your never bad you will not make me mad, so I had a tasty cheeseburger and Oreo Milkshake.

I recently went back to my hometown to visit.
This place is always on my must go to places.
Some may complain too much mayo, too big to pick up, too much lettuce.
To them I say… go to Mc Donald’s right next door.
This place is great!
And their chocolate cream pies are THE BEST!
The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the women’s bathroom needs some tending to.

Took 32 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 fries but the burgers only took less then 15 by the time the fries were done burgers were cold the ice was already melted in my drink but at the least the fries tasted good.

Better than a 3 but not quite a 4, the deciding factor for the lower selection was the hostess without the most-​est. She didn’t pay attention when we were ordering, she took requests from people walking up to the counter while we were trying to order — so we had to repeat ourselves and then asked us after what we ordered. Sorry, a little customer focus and paying attention would be great!
As for the food… the burger was a good size, lettuce was wilted and weak and the onion will be with me for 3 days — it was that fresh and potent. The tomato was thick sliced and ripe — another bonus and matched well with the bun. We also had their standard hot dog which was a good size meal in itself. It was served plain so we had to ask for condiments. The fries… eh, they were there but could have been a bit crispier! Wilted like the lettuce is a good description.
The chocolate moose pie was tasty. The crust was a little dry but overall it was a nice deal for desert. Next time, we’re going to try cheesecake though!
We’ll come back but won’t rush there immediately. I’d bet it would be a very good meal though after several beers! Don’t get me wrong though — its better than the fast food alternatives in the «neighborhood» but not as good as Fuddruckers and a small step down from In-​n-​Out and some of the other burger-​only specialities.

Order food to go… my wife stop by to pick it up and they were missing our fries and one hot dog. other wise food is good.

Horrible customer service. I placed a phone order and was next in line and lady takes dude that shows up out of nowhere with a phone order as well and goes before me? Then takes a call when I’m next? So screw this place. I’ll take my business to 5 guys and other burger places

Great place to stuff your face with a burger, chili cheese fried and a shake… before going on a diet. Feeling Satisfied!

Delicious food. Great breakfast. Just the right amount of grease. Burgers are very good. Service s but slow, but I did not care. You are sitting talking anyway.

I’m done with the Concord Nation’s. Pleasant Hill or Moraga, that’s where it’s at!
I call in a phone order, they tell me it will be ready in 15 minutes. I show up at the 20 minute mark. I am left waiting an additional 25 minutes to pick up 3 cheeseburgers and 2 orders of fries. In addition, the people answering the phones have difficulty communicating, so you need to make sure they read back your order to you because you’ll say one thing and they will hear something else. Very, very weird.
There are much better Nation’s out there. Corporate needs to clean house on this one.

I normally get cheeseburgers, from anywhere, because what’s a burger without cheese? and today I did too. But of course with my luck, they forgot the cheese. And for the first time ever, I had a nations hamburger instead of a cheese burger and boyyyyy it was disgusting. Lol! The meat smelled and tasted so gross I couldn’t believe that’s what’s been under the cheese all these years. Yuck.

If you have all the time in the world come here!
They have the SLOWEST SERVICE EVER!
They need lots of assistance, customers have to clean their table before they can sit, food comes out 1 hr after ordering. I love Nation’s but an hour wait is ridiculous especially when you have kids & you’re hungry. I recommend you get here two hours before you get hungry A «friend» of the owner’s family is busting tables right now. But, comes around every hour or so.
Food’s just OK.

So I’ve lived right around the corner from this place for three years and I may have came here for food 5 – 6 times I always try and give them a shot bc I like nations. Today I wanted some scrabbled eggs with cheese so I ordered the giant two egger I was already not very satisfied with the taste but I was hungry and I paid for it as I’m eating my eggs I’m about to take a bite and I notice something on the side of the eggs so I flip it over and there sitting right in my face is the hair of all nasty restaurant hair balls and I almost ate it I’m still grossed out as I type this. I give nations a call and explain the situation and asked for a refund which I was granted but I had to puke a few times before I made it back I’m seriously so grossed out right now I will never be back to this location ever

Zero stars. Please see pictures. Somebody call the health department. Seriously. I can’t even fathom a human eating in a place like this.
