If you live in colony park it’s the best for off leash especially when the school is closed limited traffic. Walk my dog to this park all the time then to concord feed for a treat. Homeless don’t bother you I like reading the graffiti on the bench.

My husband and I spent an afternoon driving around running errands, and before we headed home we decided to stop at this park and walk around. It’s not very big but it had a stretch of grass and several benches. The park was empty except for a woman and three children who didn’t take her eyes off us as we walked by. We’re not a very threatening looking couple so I had to wonder if she was just over-protective or was used to a different type of crowd walking around this park. The three water drinking fountains were all out of service and just leaking water over their full brims. Clogged and leaking. Bad combination during a drought. We sat at one bench and I painted my toenails in the sun. The bench/tables were clean and had BBQs. I don’t recall seeing garbage cans close by but I wasn’t really looking for them. The park backs up into a school yard. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. I thought how great it would be to live here if you had children, or pets also. I picked out my favorite house on the street as we walked back to our car. It’s definitely a small park and there’s no playground equipment, but it would be really awesome to live close by and have friends over for BBQs under the big, shady trees.

This is a great park for model airplanes and model rockets. Very low foot traffic. Very friendly neighborhood.

Clean park, had some troubles with homeless hanging around. Nice big grass area. But nothing too special. Right off the Iron horse trail, so nice place to during a run.

My son is 8 months old so he doesn’t really need play equipment yet. We go here just for a change of scenery sometimes. Once he’s older we probably won’t come here much. I do love the shade on a sunny day.

This is a cute little community park that is well maintained, shady, and good for gatherings or relaxing if you’re in the area. Not really worth sojourning here just to see it, but for people who live nearby, definitely a community asset.

I’ve learned so much by reading the graffiti on the picnic tables here. Arguably just as informative as the inside of bathroom stalls. This place is quite the little gem when it comes to parks in the area. I’ve lived less than five minutes away for three years and never knew it was here… Its located right off the Iron Horse Trail which is also a bonus — great place to relax in some shade during a bike ride or whatever. There are several picnic tables and charcoal grills available and plenty of open areas with a good balance of trees for some much needed shade when it gets warm. No kids playground stuff, but that might be why I have never seen more than a handful of people at this park. Which is why it is PERFECT for Baxter to be off leash so he can get his run on.(There are even crap bags available so if your dog drops a deuce you can pick it up!) Pack up a picnic, bring your badminton gear, wiffle ball gear or even a kite and check this place out! One of my favorites in the area!
