I had the veggie gyro with no fries and lamb meat. Delish! I can’t recommend it enough. So good! We did pay extra to have them add lamb. The veggies were grilled to perfection. I’ve never tried grilling eggplant before-I think I may have to try it now. The grilled red pepper was so sweet! I’m not a vegetarian, but this gyro didn’t need meat to be filling. I would not have wanted it with fries inside, as it normally comes, however. My hubby had the lamb gyro and he said it was good, but after having a few of my veggies, he wished he would have gotten what I had instead. Oh, both of us ordered our gyros with Tzatziki sauce. They do have seating outside on the sidewalk too. They also are kid-friendly with high chars and a changing station in the women’s restroom.

It wasn’t very good or authentic. The 4 and 5 star reviews are clearly from people with very little experience eating this type of food. It was a poor expression of the style and not worth the price. It may be the best gyro place in Concord, but that’s not a very high standard to uphold. The staff was very nice and maybe with a little guidance they can interpret the style a bit better.

I got the Veggie gyro. The bread was exactly as we hoped: fresh and delicious. The tzatziki was tangy and creamy. I opted for the fries inside and wasn’t disappointed! Quick service. Minimum $ 5 to use credit card, just to keep in mind. A unique experience– authentic and fresh.

OK, so I was up in Conkerd conducting some bidness and found myself stahvin afterwards. I turned to Unilocal and found this place right around the corner from the State building so off I went. They had a $ 12.99 gyro plate with your choice of chicken, lamb, or steak. I always thought gyro meant lamb meat, but what do I know? I asked for a combo of chicken and lamb and it was very good. For $ 13, I’d hoped for more meat, but eh… it was still delish. There was plenty of seating and it’s counter service. A decent choice if you’re in Concord.

We have come for the lamb and chicken gyros several times. We are never disappointed! The lamb gyro is seriously one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. Family owned and run, you’re greeted with a smile, nothing better than supporting a fantastic local business. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Truly a gem on Main St!

Happened to stumble into Concord for lunch today. This place caught my eye; it was packed and had a «best of 2015» on the door, I figured, why not? The lamb gyro was amazing. Glad I went it, I will certainly be back to satisfy my gyro craving!

Great Gyros. My friend came in with me and said it «was her best sandwich ever.». Fresh ingredients. Nice, simple and clean interior. The baklava was just OK. Great prices!

I ordered the Lamb gyro and it caused a food orgasm in my mouth … The husband and wife duo owners are very nice and very approachable for conversation and their smiles are just as inviting as the food they make. I haven’t had a gyro this good in almost 4 years … This is a true gyro house, no imitation products here folks. The red wine they serve is awesome and goes great with the lamb gyro.

The gyro’s here are fantastic and well worth the money. I have also tried their soups and they are really good. It’s such a nice change for lunch from the regular sandwich and burrito places around Concord. The spinach pie is also very tasty and the owner is super sweet.

I really wanted to like this place. I grew up in a big city with a thriving Greek Community and spent two years in Graduate School living in Greece and traveling. This just doesn’t meet the mark. I have tried the restaurant on 4 separate occasions and the food has consistently made me sick. The gyro is adequate, but the fries don’t appear to be hand cut or made on site. The tzatziki was really lacking in flavor. The saganaki should be taken off the menu. I was thrilled to see it, but if you’re not going to make it right, don’t make it at all. This hunk of kasseri appears to be fried in a frying pan or on a flat top. It’s not placed in a hot pan that is then flambeed and then put out with lemon juice. I’m not expecting extreme authenticity, but I’m expecting the food to be clean and flavorful and prepared authentically when possible. The gyro spot in Manchester is also not authentic, but at least the food is consistently good and fresh. After giving this place four tries, I don’t think I will come back. The service was friendly and fast. Based on other reviews, apparently some people like this place, so maybe you will have a better experience.

Gyro house is one of my favorites. I have always been a casual fan of gyro, ordering it at pizza places and whatnot. Little did I know I was about to have my face blown off with flavor when I walked in here. The owner is very friendly and courteous(the tiny Albanian woman). The chicken gyro is probably the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth, the sagganaki is amazing too. I’m told it’s not ‘authentically prepared’ but I loved it. A word of advice, you may think you don’t want feta fries… but you do. Trust me.

Stopped in for a late lunch. My husband and I both had a lamb gyro; his with fries inside and mine on the side. Fries are excellent! And the gyro had a great balance of tzatziki, feta, lamb, etc. The pita was warm but not soggy and overall a great, simple meal.

Walked in here for lunch was greeted with wide smiles and total enthusiasm. The owner is this really sweet lady, shes Albanian and is ever eager to be of service. The menu is pretty straight forward and being a vegetarian, I knew what my options were. The food didn’t take much time to be served. It was delicious — the pita was buttered and toasted to perfection, the hummus was freshly made, the sagganaki dip was to die for and so was the falafel. Prices were very reasonable and I honestly have no complaints. Neat place, good service and great food. Winning combo!

I have eaten here a few times and while the Gyro is reasonably good but the price per portion size is off. The sandwich plate I made the mistake of allowing them to put 8 fries inside the sandwich, which gave me less gyro and less fries. Never seen that before. I like to support different, but wish they would make it easier for me to support them

Great place! Gyros are delicious, staff is super friendly and accommodating. The trio of dips is great, and the feta fries, tossed with feta, garlic and oregano are a must-grab. Hidden gem in downtown

The food: the menu is straight forward. Prices are a little bit high for the quality. I ordered the lamb gyro. 5⁄10. The white sauce was good, but I could do without the«hand cut» fries. They aren’t hand cut. I saw the owner walk out with a bag of frozen fries. The salad bar is awkward and makes you feel like you’re in a cafeteria. The baklava was SO, so bad. The décor: warm, comfortable, but the country music that was blasting made me want to run down the street to Bagel Works. Staff: the owner didn’t acknowledge me at all, and I was standing right in front of her while she was blabbing on the phone for a few minutes. If you’re taking an order, that’s perfectly fine. I have no problem waiting(which wasn’t the case), but when there’s no one else in the place, and you’re on the phone and there’s someone willing to buy your food, acknowledge them! I won’t be coming back.

This place is a joke, I’m not even going to talk about how it’s not authentic, or that they burn the pita ect… I’m sure for concord NH this is a 4 star place as people rating it, they just don’t know any better. I ate here 3 times, every single time they got my order wrong, never apologized! I only came back because there is no other gyro place around. Than my wife ordered take out, the order was wrong!!! Again! And instead of just apologizing, and replace the food, they argued and said we ordered it wrong! The nerve these people have, is outrageous. Needless to say our family will never order from this place again. In case the owner ever reads this review, just remember the customer is always right! And hire people that know how to take an order!

Came here for lunch and got the combo plate… hells yeah! Food is awesome, came with fresh feta, tabouli was to die for, and 3 meats. Do have gyros and veggie options. Definitely would recommend for a different taste in Concord.
