I love this family business. I’ve been here twice and both times, I’ve had their breakfast sandwich. I tried the sausage patty and the hotlink. Both are amazing and definitely a must try especially if you love breakfast sandwiches. I also had their coffee oreo milkshake. Our waitress had me sample the strawberry oreo. So good also. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their milkshakes. This is a wonderful establishment. Great for families and really good food!

This place was so good. The customer service was excellent. It was a bit over priced. But, I will definitely be back. It was a bit warm inside.

I go here most every week with my grandma. The staff our always so accommodating and friendly! The food is solid diner fare. I think the breakfast sandwiches are some of the best things on the menu.

Diann, Fix your Front Door. Put some money into Concord diner instead of Brentwood. No one wants to eat with door constantly open because you don’t fix it. Or having to get up to shut the door. Come on!!!

Wanted a Ruben and thought to try diggers. A few years back I used to eat at the Brentwood location but fast food options got better and for less money. But loyal customers still eat here so it’s all very ‘clubby’ Old hippy vibe, try to do good in community, old hot rod type of loyal. The 4 small pieces of packaged Pastrami was overcooked and dry. The crispy French fries we ordered was not. Awful. Unilocal reviews suck.

We usually have breakfast here on a Saturday or Sunday. Can’t beat the price, the food is always good, the boys love playing with the toys, and the girls are always nice. There are many regulars in here, and expect a wait if you don’t arrive early enough to dine-in. Their portions are generous, and I have had no issues with their food. Great for take-out during swim season! Nothing fancy, just good old diner food! Plenty of parking!

Oh man, best breakfast in concord! Plus they make a mean grilled cheese and grilled sandwhiches… They have been family owned and operated for years, a staple in the community. They don’t skimp on the portions and the food isn’t too greasy, so that it’s groess. The service is friendly and welcoming towards little ones. They’re good for to go orders and open early at 6am for all of those early morning risers! The location is convienient for those of us coming down willow pass or living in the surrounding residential areas. I have been coming here since I was a kid and before that my mother did, too! They make a delicious real peanut butter and chocolate milkshake! They even give you the extra leftover in the mixing cup!!! They have lighter, healthier options available on the menu, too. Plus the chili cheese fries are out of this world! In fact you can get your fries topped any way you like em! The bacon is always cooked not too crisp and not too limp and fatty, either! Just love this place!

Don’t come for breakfast… Yuck! The wait just for coffee was 30 min and our waitress was impartial to even bother ever bringing the crayons we asked for 3 times. The coffee once it came was clear like brownish water. The dude pouring even apologized lol I’m not sure how you screw coffee up so bad, maybe trying to make it last? The OJ I ordered to replace my water coffee was just as watered down. I’ve had better continental breakfast. The food once it came almost an hour later was bland but edible. Not near as bad as the drinks… Or the service. Won’t be returning. I had high hopes for this place. Wish I would have taken a photo to share.

Good. Typical. Service is good. I actually haven’t been here in a couple of years. When I went, this location did not serve breakfast all day as some other locations do. I know it has to do with the grill and etc etc so they happily made me a simple grilled cheese and ham sandwich :)

Awesome prices, good food, Great Service(Nicole, and Dee), and the owner Jon is really cool. Can’t go wrong during the week day’s. Weekend service went down(explains the 4 stars only) waitress has pock marks are her arm(looks like track marks from I.V. use) and scratches them in front of people(Disgusting!). When you try to tell her somethings wrong with your food or drink, she mumbles and says it must be your taste buds there’s nothing wrong. I always leave a good tip, but if I go on the weekend, I won’t sit in her section. All the other servers on the weekend are great, just don’t sit where she’s serving and you will be good. GREATFOOD, GREATPRICES, GREATSERVICE(except the one server) Good go to place for great tasting food.

This is just a great family diner. The prices are very reasonable, which is perfect for a family. I have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch options, so I now feel that my review is actually able to help those in need of a cool diner experience. The theme for Digger’s Diner is a motorcycle, classic car, mixed in with cryptic designs. This basically means that it is awesome. There is a spray painted mural of illustrating this theme. The food is yummy and comes in larger than life portions. If you get a burger you can honestly share your fries with someone. That being said, the burgers are BIG and are well seasoned. The breakfast menu is also popular at Digger’s. I recently enjoy Chicken Fried Steak, which is a personal favorite, and it was perfectly crispy with the right amount of gravy on top. The bacon comes in thick slices. What I like about ordering coffee is that everyone has a different mug, almost like you are at home. Besides the food, the wait staff is holding in down. They are usually friendly and make you feel like you are in Cheers. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. So don’t worry about pictures showing you a potential meal, just make your way down to the diner. You will leave with a tummy and wallet full.

There are few 5 stars I give out(sadly) but this place is as close to perfect as can be. Great food, great service but best of all is the great value! While other burger joints, including the fast food ones, rape the customer with high prices. … Diggers is about the best value I’ve found in town! Awesome prices and huge servings… This place has become a weekly stop! love me some Diggers Diner!

My husband and I just moved to Concord from SF Peninsula and needed a quick breakfast/diner place. This place was such a pleasant surprise. The décor is amazing. I love Chevrolet cars, bikes, goth-type stuff. It had it all, even cool clothes(unfortunately, they were out and didn’t order yet so that was the only disappointing thing). The service was very friendly, fast, and Donelle was a great waitress. I ordered Healthy Chicken scramble that was delicious!!! My husband got their special omelette. I also tasted it and the spicy sausage made it A+. We are certainly coming back and for sure have to try their burgers, they won best burgers. Funny names and original too like«Coffin.» Bathroom, cleanliness, everything was stocked. A+++++

I’m pretty bummed because I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and I’ve been dying to try it for awhile. My rating is based on our experience– not the food. We walk in and were standing by the front door. Given its the day after Halloween so they are a little busy but we weren’t even acknowledged in the 5 minutes we were standing there. I know that’s not a long time but literally a waitress came over to a table that was RIGHT next to us to ask them how their food was. She didn’t even give us eye contact or a friendly smile. A simple«We will be right with you.» would have sufficed. We just walked out after that.

Diggers has always been my favorite spot to go for breakfast. The waitresses are so friendly the service is always quick and not much of a wait. I recommend the steak and eggs or Rib eye they cook it perfect just how I ask everytime. This place never let’s me down. Thanks so much for such a bomb ass breakfast this morning and all the other times I’ve came.

Not only are the prices great, but the meals are unique and every time I go it tastes good. I usually go for breakfast but last night I went and ordered an egg salad sandwich and the crypt burger! Pretty crazy unique looking burger like something you would see on man vs food. I loved it. And the egg salad was incredible I dunno what it was but it was exactly what I was hoping for. Cheese fries look good but are slightly flavorless I’d prob go with garlic or regular maybe even curly fry or Cajun something with a little more flavor to say the least. I’m making this a new spot ESP for breakfast! Yum

Here’s why this place is as good as it gets: Plenty of parking. FREE parking. Coffee, fresh, right away The bacon jalapeño cheese burger. whoamygawd. So good. Spicy. Mayo for daysssss(which I love– don’t knock it!). Stuffed with jalapenos and bacon. I did a mental praise and worship dance while eating it. Just enough to leave you stuffed without guilt or gas. Just sayin. Service was perfect for me. She came and checked in on us just enough for us to order, eat, and catch up on life. We sat there for 2.5 hours lol it happens. Ate, talked, sipped coffee, got refills. Sat in a nice little booth and just enjoyed breaking bread. I’ll let you in on a little secret– this is the key to as good as it gets… the location is unassuming, but the burger was perfectly medium rare. The menu wasn’t Michelin, but the food came out fast, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The waitresses seemed a little frazzled when we first walked in, but we got genuine smiles, coos at my nephew, and attention when we required it. We got to sit and talk about life, real life, over good food, in a comfortable table, without interruptions or being rushed out. Digger’s Diner, I’ll be back to inhale that burger many more times. 5 stars.
