I love Chipotle! So excited we now have one in Concord… I frequent this location at least once a week and have had a positive experience every time. They are always accommodating and the food is fresh and extremely flavorful! I love their salads with the vinaigrette… very tasty!

Ughhh… This place SUX! Thought I’d give it time to settle in, and after going there several times it still SUX! The staff aren’t customer service orientated ATALL! They all like to play around and act childish. Portions are weak at best. They need new management and staff… Perhaps owner was well! Place is unkept as well.

Agree with the previous comments. We were told that the store was out of large tortilla shells. How could a store that specializes in Mexican food run out of tortilla shells? My family altered their orders based on the shortage. Funny thing is however, within 30 minutes(we dined in) other customers were served burritos with the large shells. Must have been a Christmas miracle LOL.

Despite some of the poor reviews, I stopped for lunch on a very long drive from GA to VA. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and quick. We did arrive at 1:30 and presumably missed the lunch rush. The food was fresh and delicious.

I’ve been to most of the Chipotle’s within an hour or so distance and they are all inconsistent and in some cases utterly disappointing. However I can’t use those words to describe this location. Rice is on point, chicken, beef and veggies always top notch! In my experience I’ve never had an issue with portions either. So glad to finally have a Chipotle within a decent driving distance away from me that I can count on. We mainly order online with the app so its only been a small number of times where we had to wait in line, but when we don’t order ahead of time the line is pretty short and moves quickly. My only con was that there was one time where I went and they ran out of fajita veggies… but to be fair it was pretty close to closing time so I understood. It happens!

I’ve been here six or seven times due to the close location, unfortunately they have all been bad experiences. I don’t usually leave reviews but this last visit was very frustrating so I needed to share. Every time I’ve been there, they’ve been out of key ingredients: chicken, sour cream, guacamole, and chips. Also, the portion sizes are extremely small. I’ve been to other chipotles and they’ve got a consistent amount they give. I shouldn’t have to pay for extra chicken just to get the amount I’ve received in a regular bowl at other chipotle locations. The staff, though nice, they are more interested in socializing then focusing on their customers and managing the amount of food they have out. Also, bug control would be nice. When flies are in your bowl while they are filling it, it definitely makes you never want to come back. I really hope this one gets better.

I absolutely hate this Chipotle! The portion sizes they give are small compared to all the other restaurants that I’ve been too. Every time I come here they ran out of something. This time they were out of forks. It’s only 1:30pm. It’s lunch time and it’s empty. I only came here because I didn’t feel like driving to the university area.

Like many others I must say Chipotle’s is one of my absolute favorite places, not this one. I’ve been to this one three times, all three times there were issues. The first time it took FOREVER to get our food, the second time the«music» was SO loud that we couldn’t carry on a comfortable conversation. This LAST time I’m not sure what the deal was but it was like the employees had been told to go «easy on the meats». We ordered chicken burritos, we added extra meat to both because they were so skimpy; $ 5.00 later there was about the amount of meat that normally comes on a burrito at other locations. It seems like this location is simply loosely and poorly managed with no portion controls and little supervision over store activities…

This Chipotle location is very hit or miss(mostly miss) The staff seems to get overwhelmed very quickly and easily. I don’t know if they have ever been into a chipotle that operates efficiently or what? If there is any line just avoid the place all together because it’s not worth it. The portion sizes vary greatly from visit to visit here. Today I got so much salsa that my whole burrito bowl was soggy. That being said I have had a couple instances where the food and service were excellent and that’s what’s saving this from being a 1 star rating. The food is still good, just not what I have come to expect from other chipotle locations.

This review is based on my 5 visits to this location. I love Chipotle! However, this location is very inconsistent. In fact the only thing they seem to be consistent in, is being bad. I feel that I have given them ample opportunities to get better. 2 out of the 5 times, have been what you would expect from Chipotle. Great food. Unfortunately, the other 3 times have been bad. Several visits have proven that they are still learning timing and quantities. What Chipotle, runs out of guacamole? Well, unfortunately this one does. They also have found consistency with running low on sour cream. On one visit it was obvious that they were struggling. They had ran out of guacamole, there was no sour cream in the bin, and all of the meats were running low. What I am guessing is the assistant manager comes out of the back and suits up to serve. He gives normal black beans, roughly ½ the typical amount of meat, normal salsa, perhaps ½ tbsp. of sour cream, and lastly 1 oz. of cheese. He continued this down the line to «break bread to feed the masses.» I would have rather him state they had exhausted their supplies, and needed to close. I saw a similar example to this another visit when they actually had guacamole. Yet, they only filled their bags of chips half way. I will say they very quickly fixed this situation by giving us another bag at no charge. On my last visit tonight, the black beans were not cooked nearly enough. This is a tough one to overlook. I don’t order rice, and only get black beans as the filler. This made it immediately apparent there is something off about my burrito bowl. At least they must boil their own beans in the back. I know this because any canned black beans, come out of the can better cooked than what I was served. I do love Chipotle and would think that eventually, they will do some quality control. Until then, it is a complete toss-up.

Literally the only chipotle where I have had bad experiences. And I’ve been to chiptiles across the country. Employees arguing with each other, telling each other to shut up… almost always low on drinks… wait 10 minutes with only 5 people in line… employees standing around while there are people waiting to order. Pretty disappointing. Always disappointing service in here. Always.

Hate to say it but like many of the others here, this location does not meet the standards I’ve come to expect from Chipotle. My office is in North Charlotte and I frequent the University location often. There can be a line out the door at the UNC store and you will still be in and out in less than 10 minutes. The Concord location? Slow. And the staff often times just do not look coordinated. The last time I was here there were 2 employees arguing over whether they called out that they were low on corn salsa. Even though, since there was such a long wait, I heard him call it out and the prep guy acknowledge it. I will also agree with others here that the tables are not frequently cleaned, probably due to the line being backed up so often. It’s only 5 minutes away from my house, but with the average long wait for the usually short line, maybe next time I’ll just drive to Charlotte when I want my favorite southwest Burrito Bowl.

Yesterday I would have rated this location 2⁄5 stars; however, today one of the location managers(D’andre?) recognized me and tried to compensate for the error Both recognizing me and taking the initiative to make something correct is great customer service. The other prior reviews between 1 — 3 stars are fairly accurate. There have been slight improvements to the wait since it opened in Spring 2015, but it’s not yet up to the speed and friendliness of many of their sister locations. Similar to Pete R., I too have walked out because of a long wait when there were not many customers; however, it’s close and convenient, so we’ll see if it continues to improve to meet Chipotle standards.

Been to this location twice, and walked out the 2nd time before we got our food. The glass on the food was horribly filthy. There was only 5 people in line and it took us forever to get to the counter, and when we did, the guy just asked us to wait and started cleaning. 5 minutes later after sticking his hands in his pants several times to pull them up, we walked out, followed by the couple behind us. This is the 2nd time at this location with the same result. I love chipotle, but will NEVER go back to this location, due to it being filthy, slow, and the employees not properly trained, nor did they care.

I have been eating at chipotle for years and it is one of my favorite places to eat, so when they opened one five minutes from my house I was very excited. It has been open for two months now. I have gone at least four times. I put some space in between each time hoping that the issues they were having were just because it was a newly opened store. After today, I don’t think I’m going to give them another try. I will start driving to university again. For starters, their service is very slow. Not the line, because their lines are short compared to every other chipotle I have been to. A long line means great food and great service. It’ been two months and the employees still act like they are in their first few days. The second problem is the portions. They barely put any rice in your bowl unless you ask for more. Burrito bowls should be enough food for two meals and that is not the case here. Also, there is painters tape on the inside and outside of the store left behind after they finished painting two months ago. The cashier put my guacamole cup inside my drink cup today. Then when I asked for a new cup she looked at me in a very rude manner. There was actual guac in my drink cup. That was the last straw. I’m not going back to this one. It really makes me sad. I love chipotle.

I’m not very impressed with this place. Small menu. Two people ate for $ 21.00. Crowded dining room, loud be — bop music. Definitely not Moe’s. By the way, Moe’s is 4 doors up… Worth the walk.
