Don’t count on having visitors come over as there is no parking and if they find a spot the car is towed by 6 pm. If u have two cars good luck finding a spot for your second car. The parking has no space. There is nowhere to park on the street and don’t park at 1300 Monument as your car will be towed.

I’m only giving 2 stars because the apartments themselves are pretty nice, but the property manager, Rosemary, is terrible. We moved in almost 6 months ago, and told her we needed new screen doors because all 3 of our sliding screen doors that lead out to the balconies were broken. She then started upgrading the apartments with new landscaping and counters, but has yet (again, almost 6 months later) to fix the issue, which means we’ve had bugs, flys and gnats in out apartment since day one.
Also, the parking situation is horrible. Upon move in, you’re given one covered parking space, but if you have more than one vehicle, which between the two couple living in our apartment, means we have 2, then you have to park in an uncovered «guest» spot. Which shouldn’t be an issue since she tells you that after 6pm, there’s no guest parking and you have to have a permit to park in an uncovered spot, or you get towed.
Well, the past 6 months, we’ve told her numerous times that there are continuously at least 4 or 5 cars parked in uncovered spots without permits, to which she replies «you have a permit, park somewhere else.» But that means either parking in someone else’s assigned covered spot, or parking illegally.
The past few months, it hasn’t been too big of an issue because she NEVER, even when we walk up to her door to complain about it, she NEVER calls to get people towed.
But then the minute SHE’S the one being inconvenienced, she gets right on it and tows your car. And has nothing to say but «you parked in an illegal space, complain again and we’ll give you a 30 day notice.» So now, I had to walk 5 miles to the tow yard and pay $ 305 to get my car back because she doesn’t want to do her job.
My girlfriend did a Unilocal review for this place about a month ago and they took it down. Probably because they don’t want people to know who terrible their landlord is.
