A fun little store to visit if you’re in the market for some jerky or chocolate covered ants. It’s located in a set of shops with a Five Guys Burgers and a Starbucks. They’ve got tons of flavors of beef jerky like Peppercorn, 3 Beer BBQ Rub, Blazin’ Cajun, Cherry Maple, Jalpeno and Carolina Reaper which will probably burn your face off. They also have a Boiled Crawfish flavored beef jerky which is flavored with Slap Yo Mama’s crawfish boil spice blend, not real crawfish. It’s awesome, I bought a bag of this one, kinda tastes like it has Old Bay seasoning on it with a little more heat. Other jerky varieties you can also find here are venison, elk, buffalo, turkey and salmon along with a few others. They have a selection of «Wild Game Snacks» which are like Slim Jims made from meats like Kangaroo, Duck, Antelope, Alligator and a few others. They also have a selection of different hot sauces &BBQ sauces, a number of jams/jellies and a variety of flavors of gourmet popcorn. Then for the more adventurous snackers, you can pick up some chocolate covered insects or some Bacon & Cheddar flavored crickets… for real. The employees are very helpful, they will let you sample any of the jerky they offer, each employee has a set of snips holstered on their belt and they will cut you a piece of whatever you want to try from a bag stashed in a little barrel just below the displayed packages hanging on the wall. This is their newer location just a short distance from where the old store was. They do have a new phone number and different web address than what they used to. Very cool store to check out.

Such a cool place! If you love beef jerky– this is your heaven! 100s of different types of beef jerky! The girl working with glasses was very nice. Constantly asking if we wanted to try samples. Thought it was kind of weird they sold crickets and larva to eat… Like right next to the kids chocolate. Still a must stop if your visiting Charlotte/Concord!

Very informative, attentive staff. Good selection. Although the prices are a little high, you are allowed to taste everything so you know what you are buying. Easy to get to location if you are just passing through.

I’ve been here before. The last time that I came here I spent about $ 200 on several flavors of beef jerky, salt water taffy, and thin shell roasted peanuts,(which one eats shell and all.) All of the beef jerky that I purchased recently had the taste and consistency of tree bark — and it was REALLY expensive to boot. No bueno! I went by today to buy some more of the peanuts and taffy. A teeny, tiny, bag of salt water taffy was $ 3.99 — ummm, NO! The nice young man that was working there said that they no longer stocked the thin shelled peanuts at this location, so I was SOL on all counts. No harm. No foul. No taffy. No peanuts. PS: They still have plenty of different hot sauces, but I wouldn’t make a special trip just for that.
