In full disclosure this review is from 2 experiences from the mid 1980’s, I said I would never be back and have not, now have the forum to share why… 1. Driving Range: we were once there«near» closing and the people out starting to collect balls barked at us «we are closing soon, will you people please get out of here!» I’m sure at my work if I yelled at our customers to leave because it was near closing that would be my last day of employment 2. Course: My brother was once treated very rudely on the course by an employee, he went to the clubhouse to complain, instead of an apology from management his reply was one manager saying to another«Well get a load of this guy telling us how to run our golf course!» Again, both these events were from the mid 80s so maybe all involved are no longer there but I said I would not be back and have not

I have played Beaver Meadow several times over the past few years. Their driving range is worthwhile for those who need to get the rust off, and was open at least a full week before the course opened for the season this year. Played in mid April and several greens were closed due to reseeding or wet conditions, but when this course is operational, it’s awesome. Small shop and snack bar, but the staff is friendly and accommodating. Pretty great for being municipally owned! Great place to play, on any given day.
