AAA Travel Agency

AAA is great and gives me piece of mind as a traveler. I have been a AAA Plus Member for many years and the free emergency roadside assistance and towing (up to 100 miles with Plus) has saved the day or night on several occasions when my car has died or I locked my keys in the car.
AAA also offers free maps, tour guides, travel brochures, travel agency services, travelers checks, insurance, discount tickets/​coupons, «show your card & save» discounts on everyday things (restaurants, hotels, car rentals, attractions, etc), passport photo services, foreign currency exchange with no fees (order & pay ahead of time), and travel books & accessories for sale.
I stop this AAA Northern New England branch in the Fort Eddy Plaza whenever I need free maps & guides, currency exchange, and discount movie tickets. The staff here is very helpful and I get what I need quickly, but sometimes they may try to sell their AAA insurance and offer a quote too.
The $ 76 annual membership fee (in 2015) for AAA Plus is well worth it for the piece of mind and the numerous discounts offered too. For me, the membership already pays for itself every year since my local mechanic gives a AAA discount on auto repairs and I use AAA for hotel and rental car discounts too.
