I’ve worked in the area for the last 2 months and decided to try this place today. Ordered a turkey, bacon, avocado with no onions. Got back to the job and guess what???, loaded with onions. Called to let them know and didn’t get much feedback at all. Last time I go, regardless of how convenient it is. Next time I’ll not be so lazy and drive to the Giant Grinder Deli on Susana Road.

The service is meh. The prices seem to be made up on the spot sometimes as well. The best thing going for it is the Breakfast Burrito and the convenience. If you don’t want to drive down to the Carson mall then you won’t be disappointed but by no means amazed. Additionally the Green Chicken Wrap is ok. But after eating it once you’ll decide that it’s cheaper to stop being lazy and pack your own lunch for half the price and ten times the flavor.

I work in the same complex and have frequented this place for 8 years now. I actually enjoy the food very much. I mostly buy my same«go-to» items all of the time, but I’m glad this shop is here and that they offer different options. I highly recommend the green chicken wrap, BLT, and breakfast sandwiches.

full disclosure: the owner is my mom, and i love her. i live out of state, but have been to my mom’s sandwich shop a few times since she took over the business a few years back. the sandwiches and salads are served in generous portions and made with love. it’s funny, her korean cooking is objectively AMAZING and i wish she would open a korean restaurant. i think people would pound down her door to get her food. but sandwiches are her source of income… so she does her best with creating them with pride. my mom and her workers have fun and work hard to meet her customers needs. i really appreciate that about her. i know that she feels bad when she had to raise the prices because the cost of food is rising and running a small business is not easy.(most people don’t even try…). some of her reviews are quite harsh, unfortunately, so if you’re thinking of eating here, i hope you give her a fair chance. she’s really quite delightful(even if her english isn’t great), and will make you a kick-ass sub. enjoy!

I recently had a discussion with someone about my Sub Connection review and a couple of good points were made. I continue to go to this place 3 – 4 times a week, but it’s really just because it’s very convenient for me. In thinking a little more about this, most people who read these reviews don’t really care about how convenient it is FORME. That being the case, I’m revising my score from 3-stars to 2-stars overall.

The thought of someone else curious enough try their salmon teriyaki, coupled with the fact that a coworker gave their sandwiches four stars has prompted me into writing my first ever review. At my work this place has been dubbed«Disappointment Deli». I used to eat here around twice a week, but I have recently sworn off this place after daring to try their salmon teriyaki. The overpowering fishy smell emanating from the box made me instantly regret my decision. I opened it to find two flat pieces of steamed/boiled salmon, wading through a pool of sauce, its white scum staring back at me expectantly. I took a tentative bite, and just as I expected, it was the worst salmon I’ve ever tasted. I quickly tried to eliminate the taste from my mouth with their salad, only to be met with my teeth grating on what seemed to be sand. But hey, it takes a lot to gross me out with food, so I gave it another try. Newp. Had to spit it out and throw the rest away. Sub Connection is painfully mediocre. The service is bad. If they make a mistake they assure you that you’ll like what they’re giving you anyway. The only reason to ever go here would be for the convenience and their breakfast burrito, which is actually quite good. If you must go here, other safe foods would be their salads(without the sand), spaghetti, and bacon club. In other words… Don’t do it Sarah H. Although 4 years later might be a little too late.

I come here on a regular basis for the avocado salad. I’m used to most places giving you little slices of avocado across the top of whatever you’re eating. Not here. The salad is a good size portion, with the equivalent of at least half(if not more) of an avocado in it. Fresh mushrooms, celery, cucumbers, carrots, olives, and tomatoes are added, and the sesame dressing is excellent! The ladies have always been nice when I come in. I definitely suggest giving this place a try.

This place sucks! I ordered a sub and asked politely if I could use the restroom to pee real quick. The lady told me that I needed to go next door. I had to go really bad so I ran next door. That place required a key. I went back and explained my situation and she informed me that they must be working on the bathrooms. My guess is that they put locks on the doors to keep her customers out. Meanwhile she’s making my sandwich. I told her that I had to pee so bad that I didn’t know what to do. All she could tell me was that she was sorry. I told her that this was the difference between our cultures. There’s no way in hell I would do this to you if you came into my restaurant and spent money. I ended up peeing in her parking lot risking a lot. Sub was very average. Something I could have made myself at home.

A small sandwich shop in an industrial park with offices surrounding it. Kinda hard to see, but if you are looking for a healthy quick bite to eat, this is the place to go. Sandwiches and Salads are quite hefty in size with generous vegetable portions. Prices are fairly cheap, too. Simple, Fresh, & Delicious.

Okay, the foods average at best. Well, actually now that I think about it, perhaps below average. One of my coworkers(she’s White) just loves Chicken and Rice. Anytime you ask her for her lunch preference and its always simple, «chicken and rice». One time she ordered their chicken teriyaki and took 2 bites and threw the whole lunch away. She said it was the worst lunch ever. Okay, thats just one occasion. Here is where I have a beef with these fellow Koreans. We are right by them and one day we had a pot luck style lunch on a Friday. The person responsible for the rice called in sick and we were left with no rice and whole bunch of Korean dishes(us Koreans need RICE for everything). Our closest and best solution is to get rice from the Sub shop, save time=save money(in a way). However, we were SHOCKED at the rip off prices they were charging us. $ 2.50 per Rice plate, nothing else, just rice in a plate. We ordered 6 plates came out to $ 15. As a fellow Korean, we can pick up a 20lb of uncooked rice for under $ 10(during sale periods), which will serve a family of 3 for more than a month. But $ 15 for 6 plates of rice??? Seriously??? I have been banning all of my coworkers to go here due to the experience. We used to stop by 2 – 4 times a week to get breakfast in the morning and once every couple of weeks for lunch. I know that’s not a lot and perhaps they are better off without our business. my 2 cents

I come here for two things. Their breakfast sandwich and their breakfast burritos are delicious! Breakfast sandwich $ 3.25 consists of croissant, egg, cheese, ham or sausage. Breakfast burrito is a big flour tortilla rolled up in egg, and ham, with a side of salsa that makes it burst with flavor! This Sub shop is located in the commercial buildings surrounded by warehouses and offices. Very convenient for people to pick up a fast breakfast or lunch. You can call ahead, so by the time you get there, you pick up, pay and go. I go there only for there breakfast. There lunch subs and bowls are just ok. And saying it’s just OK, I’m being too nice. Nothing for me to rave over for.

An awesome little sub shop tucked away in a small office building. The ladies who run the joint are very friendly and provide fast service. I do not think I waited more than 3 minutes for my sandwich. I love that the asian ladies serve their sandwiches with a side of chips and salsa! The food(beyond what I had) seems to be pretty good! The prices are a bit on the high side(~$ 8-$ 9 otd), but what can you expect? It’s LA, and they’re in an office complex — CHA-CHING!

Me: «Hi, I want to place an order for pick up.» SC: «Go aheaddddd» Me: «Can I have the bacon club special please?» SC:“Sarahhhhhh?“ I probably eat here more than anywhere else, the main reason being that it’s about a 30 second walk from my office. It’s located in a little business park area, so you can’t really see it from the street. So unless you work by me, there is little chance there will ever be another review… sad really I love these sweet little Asian ladies that run this place, the way they say my name on the phone cracks me up! And the fact that they know who I am just by my order is A+ customer service in my book! I almost always get the bacon club special, it comes with chips and salsa that is sooo yummy! The sandwich is really nothing outstanding, but a good hearty meal when you forgot to bring your lunch. My 2nd favorite is the chicken ceasar salad, they use TONS of shredded chicken and croutons(pronounced croootns of course, I am a redneck afterall!) and dried parmesean. They also have daily specials like spaghetti and meatballs, and salmon teriyaki, but I haven’t had that… maybe I should… but I fear change
