One of my favorite O. G spots! My mom and dad use to come here and I go once every few months for the famous chili cheese fries with pastrami!
They give you a lot for the price! It’s greasy but good!

beware going here, there employee stole my Iphone, I placed my order, sat my phone on counter to pay, walk out without my phone, i went right back inside and she had the nerve to tell me that is did not have it, mind you no one else was in this restaurant, i then asked her to view there security camera she said its not working yeah right, the police was called and she informed them the same that the camera is not working and the dump cop did not check to see for himself… she stole my phone who knows what else she’s stealing, Employers beware, Customers Run or keep your eyes on the staff they Steal… And to make things worst she was RUDE as Hell I don’t know how she think I wouldn’t expect her since we were the only 2 in there RIGHT!!!, no appreciation for customers…

Damn! That pastrami burrito never dissapoints! Crazy that its almost 9 dollars now but definitely worth the cost!

Need upgrade the location in Torrance is great always busy please owners go see it you could do a lot better. Tor food not as good and poor customer service smile sometimes

The burgers are good I ordered a cheese burger with avocado and fries with a coke. The service was good and fast my burger was bomb and the avocado was fresh, onions were fresh and cut big wich I love I’m definitely coming here again

The food is bomb but the lady with the painted on eyebrows is so rude and mean for no reason. We are paying customers… you should treat us with a little more respect. I really hope she sees this and if i go back ill let her know myself. She snatched my card from my hand like shes mad. Put a smile on your face and stop being rude. Ive been coming here for over 20 years… never have i experienced this since this generation of ppl started working there. SMH

Okay so my girlfriend and I went to Louis Burgers for the first time. Now just to cut things a little short, the food there is really good. However, the customer service was horrible. You would think the customer service would be great because it’s sort of a mom and pop type of place. But the cashier was really rude. I didn’t get her name but I had ordered a combo for one of my burgers and she only assumed that I wanted a drink. Why would I want just a drink with no fries if I explicitly asked for a combo? Once she gave me my order I was still waiting for my fries and she came up to me and asked if I wanted anything else. That’s when I said I ordered a combo and am missing my fries, to which she said we don’t do combos. Wait what? Why would you not have a combo? So then she was gonna charge me for an ordered of fries which I was okay paying for but since I had originally paid with a card she just said it’s fine and threw my fries and ketchup in the bag like it was garbage or something.
All in all good burgers and food, but really bad customer service hence the two stars. I do advise people if they never been here before to be alert that the lady taking orders is really rude.

IM JUST COMING HOME FROM MY FIRST VISIT TO LOUIS BURGRS”, I ordered a French toast breakfast with over med eggs, sausage and a side of hash browns, I get home and look my order is wrong… So I call and the lady at the other end. Has attitude off the back. I ask for her name, and she refuses to give it to me and asks why??? Do I want her name. I respond by telling her, so I can call you by it. I told her what the problem was. My order was wrong and that I was not happy. I also told her how the CASHIRE at the drive threw window should do her job, with politeness and with a smile, If you don’t like working with people or where you work… Look else where… She told me maybe Wednesday she could fix my order, today is Monday??? But any who I’m just saying I guess we can’t always have all 3, good food, reasonable prices, and good service. Never ever going to eat at «LOUIS BURGERS» and I will post this on Tweeter, Unilocal,FB, Instagram, Google, yahoo, my space, and Fliker. And I will tell every single person I know, THERE SERVICE SUKKS.

WORST SERVICE!!! I decided to go to this location since the one off Rosecrans was pretty full. BAD CHOICE!!! First of all, its not clean. The person taking the order is not even writting your order down. She is basically guessing what you ordered. Then she missed a few items on my order (i wonder why, ummm maybe if she would have wrote down my order)!! Then she tells me she did not charge for the items that were missing and just starred at me like what I wanted to do. I told her. well can you charge me and give me my food… She’d rude to customers, very loud, she was not meant to work there.
Plus the food was not as good as the other location. Too bad I couldn’t give this place a BIG zero star. No wonder this place is empty.
FYI: The one off Rosecrans is Clean, has better tasting food & better service!!!

I work next door and sometimes i want my fix of extremely greasy food!!! I try to stay healthy so i order friend zucchini it is to die for crunchy on the outside yummy and warm on the inside!!! I eat it maybe once a month. I had their pastrami sandwhich before and that was really yummy but supet greasy

I was with someone who swears by this place. So we dropped in here and order 2 pastrami sandwichs, fries and pineapple and strawberry shake. The pineapple shake was delicious. The fries were a bit hard for me. The sandwich was alright.
The inside of this joint could use an updated. Everything is old.

I went through the trouble to download Unilocal just to give a bad review to this place. Starting from the rude employees to the bad service, the food is good that’s why I gave it one star but the service is the worst

Horrible chili cheese fries. I just moved to. Compton and thought I should try the local burger place. I got the chili cheese pastrami fries a small order and let me tell you those things were horrible all I tasted was grease and the pastrami had no flavor.

I used to come here as a kid. Burgers are heart attacks. The chili cheese fries are really greasy. My palate as a kid was obviously a bit lacking. If I wanna slurge, I would definitely go with the burgers only. The regular fries are barely seasoned so I stay away from them.

Louis Burgers has been one of our childhood fav fast food spots. It didn’t matter how far away we moved, but if we were ever in or around the LA county we made Louis one of our stops before heading home… lol
Louis is well known for their Chili Cheese Fries plate. A layer of fries at the bottom, then scoops of their famous chili over the fries and topped off w/​freshly grated cheddar cheese… mmmm I ask for a side of diced onions to sprinkle over the cheese… Yummay I’ve tried Chili Cheese Fries from other fast food spots, but none compare to Louis!
They’re also known for their Pastrami. Whether you order it as a sandwich, burrito, have it added to your cheese burger (Colossal Burger) or have it added to the top of your Chili Cheese Fries plate, their Pastrami is Super Delish
I see that Louis is branching out w/​a location in Long Beach, Torrance and Redondo Beach. I really wish they would branch out down here to San Diego lol

I been going to Louise my whole life. I only like chill cheese fries. And the zucchini that’s it. But I like that on weekends they close around 3 am for those who hungry after a night out.

PAY WITH CASH ONLY.
I forgot to retrieve my debit card at the drive thru and returned about 15 minutes later for it. I did not use my card after that. The next day, I checked my bank account online and someone had charged over $ 150 dollars worth of pre-​paid Boost Mobile phone minutes to my card. Thank goodness for Chase cancelling my card and refunding my money, and thank goodness I don’t live anywhere near this Louis.

Like someone said years ago here on Unilocal,the Hamburger is very disappointing. The burger is made with a typical wholesale generic fast food patty. Someone should inform the owners that in the 21^st Century you can have higher quality meat & cheap burgers! I mean you can purchase better hamburger meat at Fresh & Easy! Having had wide range of quality burgers in my life may have set me up to be disappointed.
The one redeeming factor is the fries — they are nicely seasoned in a way that you can usually only find at home. Some foodies say that frozen fries trump fresh cut fries, an argument supported by the fries sold here.
Bottom line: order fries to go and leave the burgers for In-​N-​Out or Mom’s Burger

I’ve lived in Compton my whole life, I’ve had my fair share of Louis Burgers. Although I must say, in my opinion they have dropped from what would have been at least a 4 star review, to an average 3 star review.
I would get one of two things since I would normally go after breakfast. The chili cheese fries which were large enough to share with at least another person, or the Colossal Burger which was delicious due to the not only really good pastrami stacked on top but all of the ingredients were all fresh and really tasty.
Im really sad to say that the taste and the size have both gone down. Its still a good place to go and get a bit to eat. But if you havent gone, your not really missing out on anything.
The colossal burger is still good however, but again, its not as good as it used to be.
IN SHORT:
Although this restaurant used to be noticeably better in the past, its still a good place to get a bite to eat.
