The lady working was such a cute nice woman! She packed my combo box so much I’ll have plenty left over for tomorrow! I got boba as well and it’s sooooo delicious! If I’m ever in the area again this is definitely where ill be! :)

2.5 stars for the food, 5stars for the service. First the rice is dried out and has no Taste, the chow mein is pretty decent, orange chicken was old not fresh and kinda nasty, bbq pork is pretty good though but I think there is soy sauce on it which I don’t really enjoy but still good pork. Won’t be back, but was good to try out this Chinese food. I’ll go to joy wok across town for now on

If you are ever in the area, stop by this yummy joint. They got really tasty chicken and shrimp fried rice. My fav!
Very good selection of Chinese food, from beef/​broccoli to fried rice to egg rolls and combination.
The chef makes amazing dishes and the waitress is very friendly and explain everything when you have a question about their food.

Been here a few times already and I have to say it’s all good. Try the shrimp fried rice and shrimp eggrolls. They’re delicious, and they make it fresh to order.

Food– was okay I really liked the chicken on a skewers really delicious.
Form of payment– bring cash unless you don’t mind being charged for debit/​credit (I hate when places do this.)
Seating– they have a few tables on the sides pretty small place, most people order to go.

Not very good. Even going in expecting express Chinese fast food. I thought it would be okay, but I’d take Panda Express over this any day. The first thing I ordered, they were out of. The next thing, they were also out of. I had to go with my third choice, which was pretty bad, and the chow mein was greasy and flavorless. I’m not sure why this gets such good ratings. I even was here during lunch, when you’d expect them to be stocked! The only redeeming thing was the sriracha sauce that you could add to everything to mask the taste. Never again.

I ordered a combo including orange chicken, chicken & broccoli, and rice & noodles. The price was right and the food initially tasted okay but thanks to the greasy after-​taste & nausea, I will not be returning. If your stomach can take it then go right ahead. On a positive note, the employee was nice & openly offered samples :)

Never been here before so i decided to try it out on my lunch break. The food was fresh and super excellent. Amanda is also pretty hot.
Ill be back.

Find a different place to curb your Chinese food craving. I ordered the two item combo, half fried rice and half chow-​mein with bbq’d pork, and orange chicken.
The fried rice was missing some key ingredients including the egg and more importantly the flavor. It actually tasted more like Mexican rice. The pork was super fatty, I didn’t touch much of it after the first few pieces, and the pieces I did ended up in my napkin because of the fat. No Bueno! The orange chicken was bland and that dish is pretty hard to screw up.
The staff was very friendly and polite, just unfortunate their food didn’t compliment the service.

This place is a hidden gem to the neighborhood! Great delicious portions, fast and good service. China Star Express has really good orange chicken, beef broccoli and egg rolls!
The owners keep the place very clean and there are ample seating to seat a big group. I like the fact that food is being constantly cooked and the service is fast. They also give you samples if you ask :).

I just started to use Unilocal,and so far Unilocalers have not lead me in the wrong direction. This is a good example… Great food with generous portions. Best noodles from. Fast Chinese restaurant…

Although I don’t come down here often, when I do I always stop here if I need to grab a bite before heading back to work. I was recommended to come here by a client of mine that works down the street. He told me the people behind the counter were always friendly and greeted you with a smile. Sure enough as I walked in the lady had a huge smile and welcomed me. I ordered the bacon fried rice, BBQ pork ribs and egg rolls. Wow it was amazing. i heard they are always creating new and delicious dishes. The portions are huge and the food is hot! The egg rolls are to die for. Oh and I stopped by and ordered a fish, I can’t remember what it was called but the nice lady behind the counter recommended it. It was delicious perfectly fried and still moist inside. Thank you so much China Star Express for feeding me delicious food and awesome customer service. See you next time I’m in town!

The BBQ pork ribs at this place were THE best in SoCal!!! the portions were huge and very affordable. The staff was soo friendly too. I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend this place!

Best Chinese take out! Try the fried rice and egg rolls.
I must admit, I don’t eat fast food much… but I was in the mood for some Chinese take out, and China Star Express just happened to be in my sights. The establishment itself is clean with an ample amount of tables for patrons to dine in. However, most people opt for take out, so chances are there is always a vacant table.
I was greeted with a smile as soon as I stepped in the door. I believe CSE is owned and operated by a mom and daughter who are both super friendly. One thing to note, there is a fast turn over rate for food… so food is constantly being cooked and restocked… none of that old, stale, and sitting for hours food here son!
To be honest, you can’t go wrong with anything here… I tried about 5 different dishes and all were better than your average Chinese take out, and dare I say… many Chinese restaurants.
SOOOOOO if you are in the area and need a quick Chinese fix… look no further!

Went there for lunch. When we got there, some of the food wasn’t prepared. On Unilocal,it says they open at 10, but at the restaurant, it shows 10:30. Nevertheless, we arrived after 10:30 and they were still setting up. The food was fresh and the lady helping us was very nice. The best was the beef and potato. Recommend that. I also think the teriyaki was good, just get extra sauce on the side.

Just ate here for lunch only cause other chinese places where closed, and I’m actually happy with the taste. Will eat there again
