Lakes Cakes

AMAZING CAKE!!! Lakes Cakes came to us highly recommended! And my friends did NOT let us down! We ordered my daughters Graduation Cake for her Open House. It was Strawberry Lemon Swirl Cake with Butter Cream Frosting. The cake was the talk of the party. So moist, flavorful and delicious! Everyone LOVED the cake and wanted to know where we got it. I could not be happier to tell people to call Lakes Cakes or go to their website.

I used the twice already I have never been disappointed at with them people really need to think this is a small company and they do their best if I have read any of these comments and formed a opinion I would have missed out because they did what I asked from them I got more than I paid for it was my wedding cake and that can set everything off if anyone reads this trust me it’s worth it some of the nasty remarks show me that you ask for a ocean and you paid for a pond I really doubt that they was rude about fixing a mistake it’s just some people feel like they suppose to bow down and do what they said if you are a closed minded person you don’t understand but they cake is really good and every cake I get I promise it will be from them

Apparently, my last review was tagged as a phony. I’m definitely real.
And I was so happy with Lakes Cakes, I felt it necessary to say I definitely still recommend them. They’re professional, very skilled, and offer a great price for their services. They offered a cake tasting session that was a lot of fun and very helpful in our decision making.
We had a niche wedding — everything was vegan. Lakes Cakes was hands down the best solution for a vegan cake. They made a delicious vegan cake that looked stunning.
We researched a good number of places for our wedding. Other places in town that offered vegan cakes were way out of our price range. Honestly, I don’t see how they could have done a better job anyway.
If someone flagged my previous review, I would appreciate you not doing so again. This business deserves props, and I would really like to support them.

We used Lakes Cakes for our wedding in 2010. Heidi was extremely nice and helpful from the first meeting to the delivery of our cakes. She met with me and provided me with a bunch of plentiful samples for my groom. (he couldn’t make the meeting.) Once I decided on my designs, she worked with me to match the colors of my wedding party and also respected our tight budget by being clear and upfront about all costs. The day of the wedding, the cakes were delivered and set up by Heidi and her husband. They had such a great attention to detail and I didn’t have to worry about how they looked, she even remembered the requests I had made and did a wonderful job of setting up. The cakes looked great and tasted even better! We had lots of compliments on them! My only regret was that we were out of town for my grandmothers funeral for the week of our one year anniversary, when we would have received a free anniversary cake from them. I’d recommend using them for your cake needs!

We recently used them for an event and were very displeased. A mistake was made on the cake and their response to the issue was very disappointing and very inappropriate. As a result, we can neither recommend nor endorse them.

My daughter is the ultimate Ace of Cakes, Cake Wars etc. fan and devotee. For her 12^th birthday… she had a very specific wish list and cake that she drew out so I knew EXACTLY what she wanted :) She also googled cake bakeries in the area, and after much exploration of all of their web sites decided that this was the one she was destined to get her cake from! So, with drawing in hand, I dialed them up. The owners Gregory (business) and Heidi (baking) seem to have a good thing going. He took my order over the phone. Five days later, I picked up the cake, which had everything the birthday girl hoped for including lots of fondant accessories including sushi, nailpolish, a crown, cd cases, flip flops, etc. It was the hit of the party for sure!!!
