Great design services, poor corporate attitude. If you’re looking for a kitchen designer, Jim at the Commack store is your guy: responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient.
For after-​the-​fact details once payment is given? One star. Our Wellborn Forest cabinets were delivered in less than perfect condition: drawers that don’t function, damaged shelves, warped cabinet doors, and a shelf that was entirely missing. While we certainly don’t blame a manufacturer’s quality control problems on Consumers, the way that resolution was handled left much to be desired.
After many unsuccessful attempts of confirming replacement and delivery for the damaged items, we visited the store for answers. The manager Diana was rude and dismissive, refusing to speak with us (the customer) and deflected all focus to our contractor installer.
The office that handles repairs is very difficult to get a return phone call, and the few details we did receive were in constant contradiction (conflicting order numbers, inaccurate contact information, cancelled delivery dates, incomplete shipments… the list of frustration goes on.) There is just overall dysfunction and a real lack of attention to customer satisfaction.
It’s been over a month now and we are still not resolved. We were planning on using Consumers for our bathroom remodel, but after this experience? We will be sure to stay away.

LIED ABOUT PRICE MATCH POLICY!!! NONEXISTENT — BUYERS BEWARE!!! COMMACK LOCATION!!! If they could lie about this I can only imagine the type of service I’d receive if my appliance broke down!!!
I found an appliance that I liked at a competitor and asked if they could price match a local competitor since I had been in their store a few days before looking at kitchens. their appliance specialist said he’d check with corporate and emailed me back that they COULD NOT price match. I then asked why they FALSE ADVERTISED to customers much less advertise that they’ll match and beat!!! LIARS!!! The guy then said they just don’t — when I said its false advertising he never responded to my email. When I asked for corporates number? Again NO RESPONSE!!! BEWARE and take your business somewhere where it’ll be appreciated. It has been a while but I was so pissed off with their unprofessional Ways that I will be sure to reach out to Bbb as well. Needless to say I Purchased my appliance and lowes where they happily matched the price and included free delivery!!!

Wouldn’t it be rude for me to ask a store to take their printed price tag to show you? A picture should suffice. Even if you can’t accept a picture– I was willing to provide print and went as far as telling your rep that if he just visited the competitors online website the price online was the same as the store! And this too wasn’t good enough for you guys? He didn’t care he just said we can’t and that’s it. When I asked why and for corporates number I was ignored and my email was never acknowledged. I’m sorry but I went over and beyond — your matching policy is non existent! I was just so furious with the entire process I wanted other to know that you’re false advertising and what a horrible experience this has been! Also it is not rare that others prices are lower– this was a prime example and very POOR handling on your end!!!

Everyone that I know, knows that when you are doing a kitchen /​bath that Consumer Kitchen and Bath is the place to go. But I just had such a patently terrific experience this weekend that I felt I’d be remiss if I didn’t share some additional thoughts.
Chris Baker greeted me and got right into the education process of what I needed to know to be comfortable about what I needed to purchase. Though I told him how small the job was [literally no more than 50 square feet for a spare «bathroom» (sans «bath»)], never did I get any hint that I was a second class citizen or «not worth his time.» We walked a mile going back and forth while Chris painstakingly helped me to «box» the decisions that I needed to make. But it was a process that he was just terrific at –he seems to have a great sense for how to couch things just appropriately.
He knew his stuff — and that is what really is the key here. He was telling me that there were a number of choices, but when I honed in on the keys of what we really needed — we went right from the Jumbotron [I loved that technology — very transparent and comprehensive] to the floor. There, Chris went on to describe all that I needed to know in Goldilocks precision — not too much, not too little — just enough so I really got it at every step of the way J. This was /​is an experienced pro that I was dealing with !
There is a possibility that I will account for one of the smallest sales of his career — but his knowledge, support and client development skills will hold him in good stead, me thinkst J for even the bigger projects where he may spend a similar amount of time but bring in substantially more dough. For now, though, he has a big fan and someone reasonably connected in the community (after living here 46 years and counting) who will clarify for all that «of course you go to CK&B, but if you ask for Chris — you can be sure to get hand holding of the highest order.»
We all have to make a living, but with the approach that Chris has, I am going to hazard a guess that he gets more out of the job than a mere paycheck ! A knowledgeable winner with an infectious bright spirit — he is a première ambassador for your well established brand.

My wife and I decided to renovate our kitchen August of 2014 and had no idea where to begin. Our builder recommended Consumers Kitchen and Bath located at 258 Commack Rd, Commack, NY
We were advised to see Kitchen designer Sharon Lee. I met her back in August and my experience had been nothing less than Fantastic. This wonderful and talented lady took care of all our kitchen needs and questions. She took the time to work out all details perfectly. We revised plans together many times until we were both comfortable with the final design.
Sharon Lee has the patience of a saint, has talent, great ideas and made sure all details were accurate. She is a kitchen designer that actually cares about the end user and the result of the final project. She sets the standard for all other kitchen designers to meet.
I have read many reviews on Unilocal stating problems with Consumers Kitchen and Bath. I must say that I had NO problems. People usually only write about the bad, I am proud and happy to write about the wonderful experience I had with Sharon Lee and this wonderful company.
I would highly recommend Consumers Kitchen and Bath located in Commack NY. Sharon Lee was wonderful to work with as well as her manager Dianna and team.

I recently wrote a review, bashing the Commack Consumers Kitchen & Bath because they really messed up my order and I could not get anybody to help me rectify the situation. After my review was posted I got a call from the Commack Manager, Dianna Tanis, whom I had never spoken to before. I am very pleased to say that Dianna not only located my hardware, but she sent somebody to my home to install it, since my contractor had already finished his part of the job. I wish I had gone to her one of the many times I had contacted the store. I feel confident that Dianna will look into what happened and bring the level of customer service up to where it should be.

sadly the service in the place very slow yet the place was empty
actually had to argue when I said I have come to pick up my oven and they told me to go to Holbrook and I had to repeat numerous time my ebay email said come pick up in Commack
finally another gentleman heard me and bailed me out
the two guys who clearly are not warehouse guys helped me get the oven in the truck
yes a good price but the sales people need a lesson in nice
