Nice place to stop! Had a great time watching the Packers, eating wings and burgers and roasted corn, and chatting with regulars. Friendly people and lots to choose from on the menu. Thanks for sitting with us Doug! We will be back.

We have been coming here for 30 years, coming from Florida its not only been once a year or so, but food and drinks remain good. Today we headed for a Perch Fry, it was great, lightly battered we selected fresh made potato chips. The rye bread was so good we stopped at Mom and Pop Bakery to get some back with us. There is live music during summer Sunday afternoons. They have corn hole and horse shoe tournaments in an outside patio area. One if the owners Doug has a good attitude and service was great.

OK, so a little background: The Hubby’s first job(at age 12) was to tidy up the horseshoe pits here once a week. And twenty years later, he’d still never been inside for a drink! So when we were in town over New Year’s, we set our sights on Kamps for a little night life. First we came at about 9:00 on the night before new years, and they were closed already. That’s understandable, being a Sunday night and all. So we tried again on actual New Year’s Eve, figuring it would be just about the hottest spot in town. Alas, it was closed again at 10:00. Saddest day ever! Especially because we hoofed it there both times, and my wimpy Seattle butt nearly froze each time. I’m still a fan, but I can’t wait to actually make it INSIDE the next time we’re there. Preferably during summer.
