My husband and I do not get out of our business very often so today was a rare occasion and we were just thrilled with this winery. The wines were amazing with amazing flavor(and we love to support local) and the staff was the best. From the moment we walked in the experience was tremendous… We will be back soon as I will go through the 6 bottles I took with me in no time at all.

My husband surprised me with a groupon for a tasting here over the weekend. He called in advance and made reservations, so when we arrived, there was a table waiting for us with our name on it! We received excellent service! The staff did very well on taking turns and bringing us the samples when the other was busy. Literally as soon as we finished on sample someone would be there asking what we wanted next. The staff was also very knowledgable and told us everything we needed to know about each wine. We enjoyed every wine we tried, and purchased a bottle after the tasting! The groupon was a great value for what we got, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely return to purchase more wine and/or have future date nights! Wonderful experience!

A friend and I went to Wyandotte Winery. It was a great time! The tasting are wonderful so you can decide what you really want. I haven’t had a lot of wine, so it was very helpful for me. We went on Wednesday for happy hour so wine was discounted and food was ½ priced. We had a platter with pita, feta, olives, red peppers, pepperoni, and also the trio of wine cakes. Delicious! It would be nice to have a bigger variety of appetizers to select from. Maybe even some sandwiches or dinners. Our Waiter was Francesco and he was very nice, and so funny! We did have to wait for a little while to be seated and then for someone to come. Services was good after we were greeted.

This place is phenomenal from the service to the wine and back again. I was so surprised to find this so close to Easton. There was not a wine that I sampled that I was unhappy with. They had a steel casked Chardonnay which had a great buttery finish. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Gewurtztraminer were among my favorites. I definitely suggest trying the Catawba as well as the chocolate wine. It is not like the one you pick up at a grocery store. Tonight there was a great food truck onsite which allowed us to really enjoy our wine. We can’t say enough about the staff. They were so knowledgeable, friendly and engaged with the guests. I will return!

Very good wine, very friendly staff. Robin the owner is great. They do free tours of the winery on Saturdays if you are interested in the process. We are there once a month for a wine makers club that Robin runs. We talk about a new subject every month and you can ask about any issues you are having in your own wine making.

I am really torn about my rating for this one. And I suspect that after another visit I may change it. Long story short: We stopped in to Wyandotte on Saturday afternoon after wedding ring shopping. It was pretty busy and we ended up standing up at the two seat bar while we waited for a table to open up and the winery tour to return and grab their reserved tables. The bartenders were super busy but, while we were at the bar, gave us great service. It was a completely different story once we were seated at a table. We were seated for around 20 – 30 minutes and no one came by any of the tables on our side of the room. The tables on the opposite were all visited at least once during our stay. We got fed up, paid our tab for the tasting we had at the bar, grabbed a couple bottles, and left. The wines are quite good and priced really well. We both enjoyed our tastings and, when they were around, the staff was really good. My fiancé said that this wasn’t like his previous visits here but it was my first time and I didn’t leave with a good first impression. I’ll certainly buy their wines again but I don’t know that I’ll come for tastings again.

We went in January without a reservation and were treated to the full service that they have to offer. They were wonderful and the wines were delicious! Try the wine cake!!!

Fabulous!!! Got there just in time for Sean’s wine cellar tour– I found it both very informative and entertaining! I had a groupon and they were very flexible with when you could use it and allowed me to use it after it expired. The groupon was for the«grand tasting»(8 samples of wine), free logo wine glass and cheese plate. The samples were the perfect size and the cheese plate was too! I’ve been places where I was promised a cheese plate and I’ve been very disappointed in the size/quality but this one was perfect for me! It was wonderful to learn all the ins and outs of wine making and then get to try everything. They have a wide and intriguing variety as well-reds, whites, fruit wines, and even slushes! My boyfriend commented that all were very«drinkable» and he is not even really a wine guy. Overall it was a very enjoyable and educational experience. We will be back for sure!

The Coolidge family hits the nail on the head. Robin, Valerie, Ryan and Sean are wonderful hosts. They make you feel at home and you can truly feel this winery is their passion. Wine slushies, Sweet William, and Vin De Cacao are MUST tries!

My boyfriend and I went for a free tour of their winery on Saturday at 12:30. We had an amazing tour guide who was the son of the owners and has put his own sweat and muscle into making the delicious wines they sell. They inform you on how wine is made, the history of their distillery, and an overview of the place! It’s cute, quaint, and fantastically run! The wines were incredible. They had 4 unique wines that were each made from fruits other than grapes! Aftet the tour, my boyfriend and I did a wine tasting with 3 wines each so we could try different ones. I tend to lean toward red wines and I found myself enjoying and purchasing their chocolate infused wine and their raspberry wine. They’re so lovely and surprisingly a great price for what you’re getting. I thank them for a fabulous time and next time I’m in Columbus I definitely plan to stop by there again. You’re able to purchase single glasses of wine and go sit on their back patio. They also have bbqs I was told as well as pizza parties!

I have visited the winery twice and enjoyed an excellent experience and superb service both times I came. Not to mention the wine, which is absolutely fabulous. I plan on coming back with more friends and family soon!

Located in a residential plot off Cherry Bottom, this winery brings a rustic cool to a domesticated setting. Made on-site, their selection features from 100-percent apple, raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate concoctions to dryer grape Blancs, Sauvignons, Merlots, and blends. I had a glass of apple and a glass of raspberry wine which I found to be deliciously sweet but yet had a true wine texture, differentiating, them from supermarket gut rot. I followed up with a port that was delicious and carried a heavy kick. They also carry food which I did not sample. Wyandott is in a ranch style house. Driving up to it at first is a bit awkward as you feel like you’re trespassing on someone’s property. Fortunately there is ample signage to help guide you. The exterior of the house is lined with pretty, Griswald-rivaling array of Christmas Lights. You walk in a typical residential front door. The interior is basically a home redesigned. There are tables in the dining room, and a bar at the kitchenette that seats two. They have made good of the home fixtures. Beyond is a small living room repurposed as an event space. Here we sat to listen to some acoustic music. They have many events here. The prices are good; five dollars a glass for most flavors, and bottles under $ 20. You can have tasting for a buck each, those they do limit that during some events. The service is very friendly and on target. They say this is the oldest winery in Columbus, originating in the late 70s. I liked my experience an think it should be better known.

This is by far my favorite winery in the Columbus area! I think the welcoming and inviting atmosphere has so much to do with it. Every employee I’ve encountered here(including the owners who are frequently if not always present) has been so helpful and nice. I really feel like they enjoy having people in, not just to buy their wines, but to enjoy what they have created here! Coming into the tasting room feels like walking into someone’s kitchen. Very comfortable. I’ve been here in a variety of groups — with my wife, in a large group, for special events. I always have great experiences. The wines vary greatly across the board but I haven’t had a bad wine here yet. Whether you’re seeking something sweet or something dry, the winemaker can please your palate. I’ve bought several wines from here, but being a «sweet» fan, my favorites have been Grandstand and Sweet William. You’ll find this place is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Take your date there for a special day/evening or bring a group!

Came here for a small get together with friends. It was during the day and the place was all but deserted. It was beautiful. They had an amazing selection of a cheese plate with their wines. The fruit and crackers were good too.

Took a trip across town this past Friday for the Grand Tasting Groupon, and WOW! Love this place! Family owned and the owners explained all the wines, the background, the origin of the grapes, the local artist that designs the labels, etc. Such fun! Great home-like atmosphere, great people! And the wines are incredible! We left with quite a few bottles! Looking forward to our next visit back to Wyandotte Winery!

I always tell my friends and family that I base my reviews on two things. Service and Quality. Well, If I don’t get good service then you can bet you are getting a low review. A groupon was purchased for the Grand Tasting experience for four. The certificate states you must make a reservation — no problem! As with many coupons, this is the case. I call the number. I explain I have a ladies group getting together for the Grand Tasting and we would like a 5:30 reservation. The person on the other end of the line goes back an forth with someone about it. NOPE. You can only use this Tuesday or Wednesday. That is not stated on the certificate. I explained this was a dilemma considering my friends were in town Saturday. No, they wouldn’t make an exception. Now, if we weren’t using a certificate we would have had a reservation without a problem. ??? Really ??? That irritates me. We are a ladies wine group that enjoys trying the different Ohio wineries. I’m afraid we will be heading out to another winery for our wine drinking and stocking-up this evening. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth for Wyandotte Winery and I’m afraid I won’t be recommending it or visiting.

Since I seem to be at this place at least once a week, I should write a review. I love this place, and their wine. I would recommend taking a tour. These are offered on Saturdays and are personally guided the the winery owner Robin. He will gives great insight into the wine making process. Ask questions especially if you are interested in wine or wine making, and who isn’t into wine! This winery has a wine for everyone taste buds, reds, whites, dry to sweet. You can do fiver generous tastings for 5 dollars or 10 tasting for 10 dollars. They also have events through out the week like game night, wine makers club, massages, and cook outs in the summer. This place is a must visit in Columbus.

Any visit to an actual winery is not only about the wine, but also about the experience. On my two visits to Wyandotte Winery they provided us with truly awesome experiences. On our first visit, the wife and I popped into the winery for a tasting experience on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I mean, the winery has only been a few miles from where we live since the 1970s…I guess it was about time. During our tasting we were introduced to both the wines as well as the family operating the winery. The sons poured our wines, educated us on the process, the history of the winery and the unique labels painted with local scenes. While they do not grow their own grapes, Wyandotte does make an effort to use some Ohio grapes in their wines(the un-oaked Chardonnay, for example, is a true Buckeye state wine). That always gets an extra star from me. Wyandotte offers a very diverse selection of wines. They are all quality and you’re certain to find one in your wine wheelhouse. I’m a «big red» fan and Robin just recently uncorked his 2011 merlot — spectacular!(prior to that, I was a Statehouse fan — the merlot/cab blend). We ended our first visit by trying Valerie’s famous wine cake trio. Holy mother of all things good in life, that stuff was fantastic! I know what you’re thinking, «wine cake» — yeah, that’s what I thought until it hit the taste buds. Wow. Don’t visit without trying it. For our second visit, we decided to attend one of Wyandotte’s annual events — the Valentine’s Day dinner. The dinner included six courses with wine pairings. Valerie started by telling us that she’s not a professional chef and then proceeded to serve up six courses that truly rivaled some of the best cuisine I’ve had in Columbus. Her veal saltambocca was to die for! The marscapone stuffed pear…there are no words. Between courses, Robin even threw in a cello solo he wrote, performed and named after Valerie. The bottom line on Wyandotte Winery is that the experiences they offer up with a visit truly compliment and enhance the very quality wine coming out of the basement…uh, I mean cellar. Definitely five stars.

Heather is the tasting manager and is super nice and friendly! I went with a few friends last week for the first time. Everyone was nice… wine and cheese were great. Atmosphere is awesome and would make a great early summer evening date for anyone. The outdoor patio has picnic tables and lush grass. Great time. Will definitely return soon.
