The decision to move a loved one into a nursing home is never easy, even as the mental and physical signs increasingly suggest in-patient care is required. Perhaps someone in your life has become increasingly confused, returning home without their keys only to discover those keys are in an entirely different location. Perhaps their motor skills have regressed to a point where they can no longer even wink functionally… let alone effectively. If this is the case, Willow Brook Christian Home(WBCH as those in the know call it) is here to assist. Why chose WBCH? First, because they are located in the great state of Ohio, a state that while responsible for the disaster that is the Browns(and the occasional alcohol dependence resulting from it), has also produced the rock and roll hall of fame, happier cows than found in either California or Wisconsin, and of course some of the best pharmaceutical salesmen in history. So naturally their credibility in this regard should be a given. The only downside here is that all of the TV’s seem to be broken for a truly unknown reason… Furthermore, WBCH is both pet and magician friendly, the implications of which should both entice and trouble the reader… but mostly entice. I for one have never found happiness quite like when watching a magician.(More happiness, sure, can be found in good BBQ, baseball, sex, etc, but that’s true happiness vs magician happiness). Also, every review thus far has pointed out that parking is in the rear, so at the risk of violating a secret code or getting you towed, I point out that parking is, in fact, located in the rear. I guess that’s convenient-ish. Overall, the decision to enter a nursing home is no laughing matter, but WBCH is so good that folks are just about dying to get in!

Nursing homes are not a lot of fun, but some are better than others. This place is considered one of the best as far as nursing home and rehab centers are concerned. It’s clean, friendly, and well staffed. They’ve got fishtanks, birdcages and dogs are allowed to visit. It’s actually a fairly pleasant place to visit. If you have a loved one who is elderly or recovering from a serious injury consider Willow Brook Christian Home. Check with WBCH early and often because they run at full capacity and it’s a challenge to find an open spot. Parking is in the back of the building.
