This is the most unsanitary restaurant I have ever been to. I absolutely love W.g. Grinders and was looking forward to one of their delicious subs. However, it was impossible to enjoy my sub with the swarm of flies continuously attacking me and my food. I guess the flies were to be expected given the food crumbs everywhere. I strongly advise you NOT to visit this location; I know I won’t be back.

After our navigation system directed us to a Greek restaurant that was shut down we decided to walk next door to WG Grinders. The first thing that hit us was the sweltering heat! It’s 87 degrees outside and probably 90 inside because they have zero AC! Now they did have fans blowing… on themselves!!! I feel fairly confident you could have toasted bread on the counter it was so hot in there! Now we were starving so we ordered anyway hoping to find a cool spot in the restaurant. There isn’t one. The food was pretty average, although hubby had a delicious pulled pork grinder. Décor is dated and looks a little grimy. I hear other locales are better, but I’m not sure it’s worth the risk.

i always get a veggie grinder from all the w.g. grinder locations. this is by far the worst one I’ve gone to. the toppings were very SKIMPY. i absolutely love my veggie grinders, but i will never go to the fishinger road location again. it’s not worth the money. I feel hungry again about a half hour after I eat here.

Went to this location for the first time on Saturday and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. It took 45 minutes to make one sandwich which must have been in the oven forever because it was terribly dry. As I was eating my sandwich I also noticed there was a piece of cardboard box embedded in the pulled pork. This was the worst sandwich and experience I have ever had. Will not go back again!

The food is good. Fresh tasting. Same as other grinders. The facility is dirty. Windows, floor, bathrooms. Workers need to be reminded to not touch hair then handle food. Disgusting. Won’t come back to this location.

I’m going to have to agree with Brad on his review for this location. I stopped in to this Grinders location this week for lunch and I recall only a couple(maybe 3) people were working the lunch hour. The guy that took my order was fixed on the basketball game that was playing on the tv instead of taking care of me, the customer. There were about 5 – 6 other customers in the restaurant when I arrived there to eat. After I got my drink, I found a table to eat my lunch at. I remember having to pass over a couple of tables given that they still had crumbs left on it from the previous customer. I also remember the restaurant being very gloomy and the cases werent filled with much food, just boxes with the Grinders logo on it. This wasnt my first time here. As a matter of fact, this was only my second time here. Yeah, I know why I prefer to go to other Grinders locations instead. Since this location is close to where I work, I chose to go there for lunch.

I really enjoyed this particular location of grinders. The employees are friendly. The food is always consistently good and to top it off they deliver locally. They also have a nice catering menu. There is plenty of parking available. Also, from what I understand they are now under new ownership!

Same great sandwiches as the other Grinders in the city(except the Arena District one, who still insists on using the Subway-style toaster oven to toast their grinders instead of the full-fledged conveyor belt-style toaster, in effect discounting it as a Grinders franchise altogether), except this is one of the stranger restaurants I have ever set foot in. Last time I was here, two high school kids were«working» and they may as well have been lobotomized zombies. As far as I could tell, they didn’t speak much English, either. I thought Upper Arlington had one of the finest school districts in the city? Regardless, after the young man grunted his way through taking my order, he and his buddy(after slapping together my sandwich and sticking it in in the toaster) turned their attention back to the 13″ black and white TV that was playing an episode of «Friends» — this was the only sound in the restaurant. No other customers, no Muzak. I swear, this episode had these dudes transfixed. I’ve never seen anything like it. I kept expecting them to get sucked into the TV, «Poltergeist» style. I just sat at one of the booths, sipping my soda, watching in complete amazement and anticipation. Soon, my sandwich was done, they sacked it up, and then sent me on my way. As I walked out the front door, I stole a glance over my shoulder, and sure enough, the two of them were back in front of the TV, glassy-eyed and slack-jawed. As I write this, I find myself hoping those guys are still in this dimension.
