Found this by chance, and I’m glad I did. I haven’t been in a game store in many years, but lately I’ve been wanting to get a Wii or Xbox to use while working out. Something I can actually do, at home, instead of finding excuses not to go to the gym in the winter. I was nearby looking for a restaurant and saw this, so I popped in and explained what I wanted. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and explained my options(mainly confirming my research.) They set me up with a used system at a very reasonable price, including everything I need. I’ll be back if I need more games, etc. They have some LPs, many games, movies, locally-made coasters with video game themes, and lots more. I’m happy to support a local place, especially when they’re better than any chain to boot.

I was sure I had reviewed this video game store but evidently not. This place doesn’t always have the newest titles on release day but almost always has the biggest ones on release day and at a better, discounted price than you will find anywhere else. And unlike most retail stores these guys in this shop really know their games and their game history. The owner of the store is super nice and I’ve spent many a few hours in the lazy days of summer just chit-chatting with him about the game industry. You can really tell he knows and loves video games. I always try to patronize this place when I can, I certainly think it’s worlds better than going to Gamestop. Support your local businesses and shop VGMX over the Best Buys and Gamestops of the world! You won’t regret it. P. S. this store has lots and lots of cool posters and vinyl records if you’re into either one of those! Also a ton of discounted cds and movies as well.

The best video game store around. I’ve never been to a game store with friendlier staff. They are helpful on the phone and in the store. Excellent selection of retro and new games, as well as CD’s, vinyl, posters, DVD’s, and board games. If you’re in the Columbus area, this is the place to buy your retro games. P. S. They sell new games too and take pre-orders. Don’t buy games at GameStop; support local business and buy at VGMX.

Are you a fan of movies? Or music? Video Games? Then you needn’t shop anywhere else. They carry everything here! Unlike Gamestop or other chain game stores not only is this locally owned and operated but they carry every kind of system that you can think of. Seriously, if you wanted to snag a Coleco Vision if they didn’t have it here they’d find it for you. The staff here is great, they all are willing to bend over backwards to make you happy. What sort of store will let you try out the games before you buy them? And it doesn’t stop there! They have hundreds of movies, including posters! They recently started carrying vinyl records as well. The best part is they buy your old stuff from you and give you sweet deals in trade! I really can’t say enough stuff about this place, truly a favorite. I seriously have stopped in here probably every other month for the past 15 years.

I like to visit this place as opposed to the other used game establishments in town. Every time I go into the store, I feel like I’m transported back to my youth, except now I can buy whatever I would like. The atmosphere isn’t too stuffy. And there patrons are a mixed crowd. U can usually find some cool stuff in there, that you may not be able to find anywhere else. Did I mention that this place has the largest selection of Atari games in Ohio! They have great specials, and will let you try used games before you buy. I recently spent like 2 hours playing DS games to find the right handful to give as a present. The staff was courteous and made sure I had a great experience.
