Turkey Hill

Every time I get gas here some one approaches me asking for change or money. It’s really annoying and some times scary. They need security to stop the constant pan handling here. They usually do have the best gas prices though.

I do A LOT of business here as this is where my company re-​fuels it’s vehicles.
Gas/​Pumps: prices are about average for the area. Then pumps are usually clean, trash cans are not overflowing. Parking lot is generally clean. ⁴⁄₅
Car Wash: great prices, wash does well at cleaning the vehicle. Operable more often then not. ⁵⁄₅
Store/​Market: the store front is clean, they have a custom made sub area which is nice. Prices are a little pricy but after all it is a gas station AND affiliated with Kroger. 3.5÷5
Bathrooms: HORRIBLE! Smell is dreadful. More often then not there is either no towels or soap. The sinks are all wet and discussing. This is for sure there downfall. ¹⁄₅
Employees/​Staff: friendly. But a little slow when ringing people out which creates long lines. There is a 3^rd shift lady that is pleasant but listens to music on her phone while ringing you out. Not very professional.

People use this as their personal grocery store. You wait in line forever unless you go in the middle of the night. Also a few incompetent employees there and be prepared to do your own math. They will do multiple separate transactions instead of doing the math in their head. Example: «I’d like to get this and the rest of the change from the $ 20 on pump 3.» They, 80% of the time only if it is easy math, will ring you up first, put the change on the counter, then ring you up for gas. This isn’t good and another reason the line gets wrapped around to the back of the store so often.

I can’t even begin to think of the proper word for the experience I had here.
First; The entrance & exit is confusing, apparently not only to us but to others as well as we were almost t-​boned AND rear-​ended trying to get in & out of the parking lot.
Secondly: NOBODY is watching what is going on here! All while pumping ONE tank of gas, we were propositioned TWICE to buy bootleg gold necklaces off two completely different dudes that came in two separate cars that had no affiliation with one another. We were also asked by someone else with some sort of religious group if we had a moment to listen to his sermon on the word of god. Sorry, just here to get some gas.
THIRD… we sat in amazement as we watched some other dude trying to FILL A WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID BOTTLE WITH GASOLINE all while smoking a cigarette! It’s a wonder this place is still standing!

After many times going here, I have noticed many improvements which I am happy!
1) Gasoline: Pretty cheap, clean pumps, clean outside. They have a car wash
available, too (I haven’t used it). You get to use your Kroger discount with them. +5/​5.
2) Food & groceries. They have a lot of stuff, for not too of expensive price. They have a sub station (custom made), fried chicken, pre-​made sandwiches, coffee, beer, and many of the standard items. +5/​5.
3) I noticed they fixed their prices and now their items scan correctly. ⁴⁄₅
