I’m not that crazy about Tim Horton’s. There. I said it. Their coffee and their bagels are just okay, and I’m not a fan of their donuts. Will I eat their donuts? Of course — they’re still donuts after all, I just don’t prefer them. I have stopped here a few times on my way to work and had their dark roast iced coffee, and it’s pretty good. There is never anyone in line here, and I assume that’s because everyone buys the cheaper coffee at the McDonald’s a block over. I always have quick service, and the staff is friendly. There really aren’t any local coffee shops on the west side of town, so Timmy Ho’s is better than gas station coffee and more affordable than Starbucks.

I was at this location today. They hardly had any donuts and said it was because the baker called in sick. I think I’ll stick with Krispy Kreme. This has never happened there and I’ve had the same experience at different Tim Hortons around Columbus.

Terrible service. Two women behind the counter were more interested in chatting with their coworkers than providing any service, and were incredibly rude and combative when they finally noticed they had customers after we’d been standing there for fifteen minutes. Ended up leaving without getting anything. Stay away, or if you must, go through the drive through where you hopefully won’t be verbally abused by the employees.

The drive thru moves fast during the morning rush which is the only time I frequented this location. Not a fan of their lattes or other drinks, but an XL coffee was most often what I needed to get me going and through the first hour or so of my work day. Plus some mornings a bagel was a good treat.

I went here once, the drive thru person was like«ya what do you want» and then the breakfast wrap was not hot nor the potatoes and they didn’t put hardly any sugar or cream in the coffee, plus when we got to the window she was just like«give me your money, heres your stuff go away» no she didn’t say that but she may as well have and well that is why I won’t stop there on my way to work.

Tim Hortons! It was almost a mystic sighting. Whilst traveling east last Friday — we hit Columbus right around 10am. Just past the AM rush, and hankering for a small bit to eat(ok, and bathroom stop too that wasn’t a) a gas stationand b) mcdonalds), I saw it on the I70 sign. Tim Hortons! Now I knew from my hockey watching(addiction) that Tim Hortons is HUGE up in the maple leaf country — but I had NO idea that they had made it down to the great state of Ohio. This is a review on the OHIO Tim Horton’s though, not my fascination with the ‘mystic’ name. The place was nice enough, clean, not busy, good selection of donuts, and the coffee was great(hot, I had two sweet & lows with mine). I also had a canadian maple donut(why not — 260 calories 72 from fat, 8g fat, it’s better than a candy bar), which was fab. My traveling partner picked a croissant and tea which were also great. One note — the cinnamon rolls were SOLDOUT and that seemed to be a common occurance, so get there early if you want one. Otherwise, two maple leafs up.

After passing my driver’s license test, I stopped at Tim Horton’s for the very first time to celebrate! I ordered the egg salad, sweet tea, and chicken soup combo meal. Egg salad was a little too salty, but still delicious! I haven’t tried the soup yet. I am saving it for tomorrow’s snow day. Finally, the sweet tea is WONDERFUL!

This Tim Hortons is not in the greatest part of town, but my mother works nearby and its nice to stop and grab her a cup of coffee when I’m nearby or meet her for a quick lunch. The service isn’t very quick or consistent, but they are friendly and nice. They’ve occasionally been out of items when we’ve come in for lunch but they’ve been quick to offer alternatives. There is plenty of parking and you are close to the freeway which makes it a good place to grab something quickly and then get back on your way.

This timmy’s has always had fast service and consistent quality. Usually I’ll stop if I’m out this way during breakfast hours. They also keep their displays stocked up, even if it’s busy there are always tons of choices. Conveniently located at the w broad /70 w highway entrances.
