Great Indian food — some of the best in Columbus. Their Indian food was was of high quality and well seasoned. My favorite place for Indian food in Columbus. Well worth stopping by.

I like this place and have eaten here several times and I like it here. Love their korma! I’ve now had chicken, lamb and goat. Their aloo gobi is very tasty. The chicken tika masala and samosa appetizer are good as well. Portions are appropriate relative to price. I’m pretty sure my wife would eat the rice pudding for every meal. Want a real treat?! Order the coconut. Drink the milk, eat the meat, and enjoy it as a refreshing dessert. Of course this is difficult to do while stuffing your face with pudding, but that’s just more for me! The owner is a really nice guy and seems genuinely interested in making sure his guests are happy with their meal. I’ve only been here for dinner and usually carry-out, so I’ll leave the waitstaff and décor to be reviewed by others, but everyone is super friendly. Also, the chef will make your entrée to suit whichever heat level you want, so tell ‘em what you want. I like it hot and the dude delivers, but never so hot as to scorch your mouth or obliterate the flavor. btw… coconut milk calms the heat nicely. That’s a glowing review; so why 4 stars, Doug? Well, I’m glad you asked. The menu is extensive; i.e. mind-boggling big. You could probably eat here every day for 3 months and still not try everything. It’s just a lot of stuff to digest(pun intended). For a novice, the big menu may be a little intimidating, but it’s all described. They’re happy to answer questions and offer suggestions. Here’s the other thing; generally, the food is very consistent and I mean consistently good. Now this is gonna sound odd but Friday or Saturday evenings, those are my days for Tikka Masala & Grill. Why?! Aren’t you the inquisitive one, but the reason is I’ve eaten here a couple times on Sunday and there is a significant drop-off in flavor, I think it’s a different chef, and even the staff is less friendly. Weird, huh? Anyway, it is what it is and I’ll be back, but probably not Sunday.

This is not even Indian food! The food had no flavor. The chicken 65 and chili fries were both nothing more than chicken and fries with onions and ketchup on top. Not worth anyone’s time or money!

I was stuck without a vehicle for the weekend, so I knew I was in for a few delivery meals. I also knew I did not want pizza, so I begged the internet gods for something different that would deliver… and I found Tikka Masala. Indian food… delivery? Intrigued, we gave them a shot and Tikka Masala is now one of our favorite spots. The owner(Milan) is so friendly, so amazingly friendly. On more than one occasion he has given us, GIVENUS, a taste of another dish; a small dessert here, a tasty morsel there, maybe even something he was making just for family. His generosity has paid off because I’ve eaten across the entire menu at this point. He’s friendly AND smart. I love Indian food and have eaten it all over the country and Tikka Masala is one of the best. The food makes my mouth quiver with anticipation! Excellently and authentically spiced fresh food cooked with care, just perfection on a plate. I’ve eaten there a dozen times and the routine is still the same: take a bite, make a yummy-yummy noise, tell everyone how tasty it was, and repeat for every bite until my pants explode and I am forced to lay on the floor to enter a food coma. The food is delicious, hot, and just great, all of it. And the variety is expansive, they easily have 150 or more dishes on the menu with many vegetarian options, so you should be able to find something for everyone. Delicious Indian food served by friendly staff, Tikka Masala means we’re all going to have a great night.

This has to be the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. The Chicken Tika Masala was very dry and in a bland sauce. The other items on the buffet were not much better. Save your money and avoid this place.

Fiancée and I were craving something Asian. I wanted Indian, she wanted Chinese — we came across this place that would deliver(through EatStreets). We figured — sure! Where’s the harm? Well, my favorite part of my meal was the rice and naan, that’s about it. The chicken masaka was bland, but the Chinese was god awful, I’m not sure how to describe it, but it looked greasy, tasted bad, and ended in the trash. I don’t recommend delivery, and honestly, I don’t see a reason to try stopping in, either.

I love this place. Owner is very friendly and so is the rest of the staff. This place has a good casual atmosphere. I love how you can also get Indo-Asian cuisine as well. I really enjoyed the eggplant dish. Pakora and samosas are a must have. I always go with my family so we can get a bunch of different things to try. I have never had a bad dish. Lots of variety for picky, fussy, fault-finding eaters with a pallet of a 2 year old Location is not bad right off 270 and Cleveland Ave. It’s a nice place, just because it’s not in Easton, off Polaris, or off Sawmill doesn’t make it bad or in a bad area. It is not a place that is formal so if your expecting fine dining go pay $ 100 for a meal instead of $ 80 for 4 meals, 3 apps, and a 2 soups. It’s inexpensive and tastes good. I suggest going there to eat dinner. Do not do delivery, no food is good when it is delivered from grub hub. Food is delivered at least 10 minutes after it is cooked is not good anywhere, ANYWHERE. Get out of your house to try it. Don’t listen to negative Unilocal reviews, it’s a way for people to get attention for their because they are picky, fussy, fault-finding idiots that have undeveloped pallets and can’t cook for themselves.

I offer this review as a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine — having traveled to the southern part of India, and also having sampled most of the restaurants in the Columbus area. The caliber of Tikka Masala’s dishes stand up to any of the established places. They have a humble restaurant currently, and I chalk that up to them just passing their one-year anniversary. Otherwise, the food, and the care of the ownership, is excellent. We have ordered delivery approximately every 3 weeks for the past 6 months. The owner, Milan, is a true sweetheart and is very kind to our family. The food constantly delights too! Our standard order includes Samosa, Lamb Korma(spicy), Palak Paneer(spicy), Aloo Gobi, Garlic Naan, Mango Lassis, and Rasmalai for dessert. We have also ordered the Spicy Cauliflower appetizer and love it too. Other dishes we have sampled are: Chicken Curry, Lamb Curry, Goat Curry, and Tikka Masala Chicken. Everything we’ve had is delicious, prepared with care, and of large portions.

Ordered food off grubhub, the portions were tiny for the money but I wouldn’t have been upset if the food was even worth it. Really disappointed. I couldn’t even eat the Chole chaat. It was anything but an Indian dish. I’m generally generous to businesses with reviews but I couldn’t do it with this place.

Just got done with dinner. I got the chicken Korea and my fiancé got a shrimp dish. I don’t recall the name. I got mine in medium heat. It was enough to give it a bit of a kick without distorting the flavor. Chicken was tender and the curry sauce was flavorful. The garlic naan was excellent as well. Worth a try if you love good Indian food.

This place was absolutely awful. I went in for their Chicken Masala and left horrified. This is not even an Indian restaurant! The chicken was chewy and rubbery and the sauce was inedible. The only edible thing I ordered was the rice! What a shame. I’m not one to judge a place by looks or location as long as the food speaks for itself. Unfortunately this place disappointed in all levels.

I’ve been here a few times, for both dinner and buffet. It’s decent food nearby my office, so I drop in from time to time. It’s good, but it’s not my first choice for Indian food. I ate the buffet again for lunch. This time I caught it before closing though, so the food was just… ok. I kind of figured that would happen at the end of buffet hours, so I guess I’m not complaining. This place isn’t bad if you are in the area and have a craving, dinner entrees are better than buffet. I have no complaints for the dinner entrees, large portions and yummy. Love the mango lassi, I love that wherever I go though. ;) However if I had to gripe, it would be over pricing. The buffet is kind of pricey for what it is. I ate the buffet only twice, once it was good food, this time it was ok. It had the same small selection that I caught last time so I am not sure if they change it up. Like I said, it’s decent food if you are in this area and have a craving… However my favorite choice for Indian is a place in Dublin. :)

I was in the area and discovered this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The owner greeted us very warmly at the door. After sitting, he offered us beverages. We had iced tea, which is wonderfully spiced and delicious. Our entrees were excellent and had a nice homemade quality. My friend had a vegetarian dish, and all the veggies were fresh, not frozen. The prices are great, but more importantly is the wonderful, authentic food. It is definitely worth coming to again.

The lunch buffet is very solid. Embarrassingly I ate here twice this week. In fact, it was back to back days. Once by myself and then when I reported back to my coworkers, they drug me out a second time. Luckily they rotate items in and out, as about half of the 10 things available were different on my second visit. The highlights of the buffet are the pakori which is crunchy and not overly greasy, the tender curry goat, decadently creamy vegetable korma and chicken tikka masala, and the fresh flat bread brought to the table. I don’t think the bread was naan or a pita. It was made with white flower, had a nice chew to it, and had large air pockets in the center. The only thing I didn’t care for was the tandoori chicken which was way overcooked. Also, they were a little slow refilling the stations on my second visit. That was probably because they weren’t prepared for a large party as it seemed slow on both visits. The servers immediately clear dishes when your finished and are very nice. I grabbed a paper menu before I left and it is quite extensive split between Indian and an Indo Chinese sections. Another cool thing about this restaurant is that they have a second restaurant inside of it. That is called Wycliffs’ Kitchen which serves Kenyan food. There was a large group of African’s eating from that menu on my first visit. I can’t wait to come back and try that restaurant, but I may wait a week or two so they don’t think I’m stalking them.

I came over here for dinner tonight. I know I was here in a previous life/ownership but I don’t recall the name of the last one or maybe the one before that. And it looks like this one will meet the same fate. Not a single customer between the time I went in until the the time I left. And the food wasn’t bad! I started off with two beef samosas. These were full of beef, peas, and a bunch of other stuff. And the were served with two small dishes of jam. They were very good. My next dish was chicken vindaloo. Served in a very spicy sauce with carrots and potatoes, and chicken. I also ordered some garlic naan. This was cooked in their tandoori oven and were just great! The price for all this came to $ 23 and some change. That’s a little high for a weeknight dinner but not awful. And oh, Iwent back through me reviews and found who the previous tenants were at this address: the last one was Tropical Spice, and before that it was Costelos. Costelo now has a food truck up in Westerville and I guess TP is no more. Their food was pretty good.

Delicious food! We have tried the lunch buffet and takeout dinners, and have loved everything. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and if there is something that you want that isn’t on the menu they will fix it for you if you call ahead.

I’m thrilled to have an Indian restaurant in this neighborhood that does both vegetarian and meat dishes. My husband straight up refuses to go to vegetarian-only restaurants which means we’ve been having to drive across town to get decent Indian food for awhile. We’ve been here several times and have always been pleased by both the food and the service. We’ve had the same server every time(I’m assuming he’s the owner) and he is always wonderfully friendly and accommodating. We’ve brought along some friends who’ve made some odd requests(Palak paneer with cauliflower instead of paneer comes to mind) and he’s assured us each time that they will make anything we request. The decoration is pretty average, about what you’d expect a small restaurant in a strip mall to have, but not bad overall and the place is clean. The vegetarian dishes are particularly good and have nice layers of flavor. the eggplant was so tasty that my meat-loving husband even ordered it without an accompanying protein the next time we went(miracle of miracles). There are also some tasty meat dishes — the butter chicken is rich and amazing, the grilled platter is a fantastic fajita-like sizzling platter of spiced mixed meats, and the curries are pretty decent overall. The fried eggplant appetizer is worth a try, unusual, but very tasty. We’ve not tried the Indo-Chinese part of the menu, the Indian part is good enough on it’s own. The location has had a lot of turnover in the past with restaurants, but we’re definitely hoping that this place stays and succeeds.

It’s a new restaurant in town taught of checking out. I ordered some food and it was horrible I don’t recommend this place if you are looking for authentic good Indian cuisine here is why 1.It’s s not even Indian food I guess it’s run by middle eastern or Pakistani 2.Food I ordered was not fresh and cold. 3.I feel it’s too pricy for the food they are offering and location

Went here last night. They were just taking down the buffet, but the server said we were welcome to it with the caveat that they had turned off the heat so the food might not be quite as hot as we’d like. It’s hard to accurately judge the food because it was rather lukewarm, but it was very nice of him to let us partake of the buffet after it was supposed to be torn down, and hey, we were warned. It’s not the greatest Indian food I’ve ever had in my life, but I’ll definitely be going back. The variety is good, it’s close to home, and the server was INCREDIBLY nice and attentive. He apologized about a dozen times for the noise the new ice machine was making, gave us to-go menus, and advised us that if there was something specific we wanted on a return visit, all we had to do was call ahead and they’d make sure it was there. So yeah… we’ll be going back, probably on a weekday lunch when the buffet is only $ 8, which is an UNBEATABLE price for Indian food in Columbus. P.S The rice pudding was great.
