The View on Fifth

Five stars to management. Minus one star for issues regarding the construction of the property. (Note: I lived at the Holly Avenue Suites part of the View on Fifth, as the primary apartment building isn’t open yet).

My «minus-​one» complaint regarding the construction of the buildings is the existence of small, cost-​saving construction choice made by the builders such as the usage of hollow, uninsulated outside doors in a city that can reach strong winds with negative temperatures. Hometeam Properties’ handyman, Chris, did what he could to add insulation to the doors, but I imagine it will continue to be an issue as the doors themselves allow heat to pass through.
One small issue of annoyance is the lack of sufficient parking. Hopefully the main View on Fifth apartment building will have a parking garage. However, it would still be a hike from the Holly Avenue Suites. Perhaps the dilapidated building to the east could house a parking lot.
