I went here on a group lunch — 8 of us — and this place is not great for groups over 3 potentially 4. Where do I start, location, food, price, service, atmosphere, etc. Lets start with location. Location– For the working downtown crowd, awesome! It is just steps away from my office and steps away from Nationwide Arena, Clippers, and the LC. I don’t think this is a destination restaurant to travel to if you live around 270. Food– I had the Fog City Slamwich, marinated beef, Hawaiian loaf, peno jack cheese, sweet peppers, and onions. Served with fries or a side salad. I opted to go with the Sonoma Hash as my side. The flavors of the slamwich was terrific, however the beef was dry and only a few strips on the slamwich. I would like to have a few more pieces on there. The hash that I received was more just breakfast potatoes and lightly(rare-raw) grilled onions. When one thinks of a hash, they tend to think of items mashed together and sticking together, this was not the case. My friend ordered a burger, «Glad I like my burgers pink», he joked. He also tells me that he wasn’t even asked how he likes his burger cooked. So roll the dice and hope for the best! The fries he received was a generous portion though. As an appetizer we had Chicharonnes(aka fried pig skin), Im not sure if someone purchased these or they were just dropped instead of chips and salsa, if you will. I enjoyed them immensely. I enjoy that you can order breakfast all day long. ALLDAYLONG! Price– Prices were very reasonable for the arena district. My total was $ 11.15. Now comes the tricky part, you pay when you order at the counter but there is not a time when you can tip. Sure there is a little tip jar at the counter but what about the server, what if he/she does an amazing or terrible job and you want tip accordingly, well you can’t because you pre-tipped! Now on to service– You order your food at a counter and then sit down. A server brings it to you, fills up your water, makes sure you have everything and it looks good, you know, the usual server deal. It typical service, nothing out of this world, nothing terrible, right in the middle. I will say that there was a manager(at least she looked in charged) who noticed a server’s pants where sagging; she did not hesitate to pull them up for them. Nice work! I don’t need any crack with my lunch. Atmosphere– Here it gets weird… The indoor seating is inside an office building and in a hallway. No joke. The offices have glass walls and neon lights everywhere. The table we were seated at was very narrow. It was narrow to the point where you could lean over and eat off the person’s plate who sat across from you. On the other hand, there is a very nice patio with ample amounts of seating that would be marvelous on a sunny day! Overall– this place is pretty solid with TONS of potential. I will definitely be back to try some other items. If you go here, go on a nice day and sit outside. Side note– I see displayed on their facebook and web page a wonderful looking reuben yet no reuben on the menu. =o/

Refreshingly nice staff and the food is made fresh. Hours are great and they surve breakfast all day. Plenty of seating inside and shaded seating outside.
