A Brick & Mortar taco truck… I’m signed up. Taqueria Delicias has taken the taco truck & placed it into an old vacate building, helping it to find a new life.(FYI. their Tacos are life, but well get to that) I love that everything is in Spanish from the menu to drinks. The décor is still being updated, but give them a chance; they are a small business after all. Also some of the staff is not the most fluent in English, but they try, so you can try too. The food… I swear I’ve tried just about every Taco on the list, and at under $ 2, they’ve been well worth it, if not more. The meat is seasoned and cooked perfect, some cilantro & onions on soft corn shell, with a splash of your lime juice, will make you want to get up and salsa. The Burritos are not for the faint of heart. They are HUGH and Stuffed with all kinds of Mexican goodness. Watch out for your waistline. They also have all kinds of flavor water… try them, you’ll fall in love. If after eating there you’re not impressed. Something is wrong with your taste buds, please get these checked ASAP. I’m so glad to have sit-down place on the Westside of CBUS, where I can grab some top of line Tacos at a great price.

Small location. Needs some outside care but food is good. Lots of competition along the same street. Food selection of food.

This place is by far the best place in Columbus to get Mexican street food. This isn’t your fajitas rice and beans spot. This is pure authentic Mexican street food. I recommend this to anyone who thinks El Vaquero and Fiesta Mariachi is REAL Mexican food. You will never go back because this is what Mexican food tastes like. I usually get the tortas or huaraches. Both of these are mexican delicacies. Google pictures and you will want to try these. What are you waiting for? Go get you some Delicias !!!

This place is legit. You can tell that this place serves authentic Mexican food as soon as you walk in the door. The Lengua tacos are delicious and the pineapple water is refreshing. Will come back again ^_^

Taqueria delicias brings the taqueria indoors to the west side. Have you been on Sullivant Ave lately? There’s over 10+ Mexican joints catering to all things delicious. While some may be intimidated to visit these trucks, there’s a new contender opening their doors in the old ‘Siem reap’ or the old ‘captain D’s’ along a worn out stretch of Georgesville road. Taqueria delicias invites passerbys in with many signs displaying specials. The place was busy with many Latino families when I stopped in. The menu was mostly all Spanish, but don’t let it deter you. If you’re familiar with most Mexican street food then you can navigate the menu easily. I don’t know if I’d bring your Aunt who wants to ask a million questions about the food though, as our waitress was light on her English, but she still served us greatly. The food was not too shabby here. I kept it simple with tacos, but they also make quesadillas, Tortas, nachos and even some breakfast items. The lengua(beef tongue) is great here! The tripa(intestine) was a-ok. The consistency is that of bacon. The shrimp tacos were a bit of a let down. I’ll save my shrimp taco cravings for Hass. The husband ordered the pastor quesadilla and gave it the thumbs up. I noticed they had large vats of different flavored Horchata, but that will have to wait till next time. It was a good lunch. If you don’t feel like braving the taco trucks then stop here. It’s not the greatest on the westside, but it’s still pretty darn good.
