I would rate this the best pizza in all of Ohio. If you like Donatos thin crust this is not for you. The crust is a bit thicker and has a nice balance between chewy and crunchy. The toppings taste fresh and sauce is top notch! they never skimp on the toppings and the crust does not limp under the weight of the toppings(Donatos). It is a bit pricier than some other pizza shops but you can tell in the quality of the pizza… one of those things that you get what you pay for, if you’re stressed over the cost of pizza go get a cheap crap pizza from Pizza Hut or Dominos, is you want quality then just like a good steak you’re going to pay more.

Called repeatedly 20 minutes after opening on a Friday. No answer. Way to go, kids.

Went again last night. Food was very good. I love the Chicken Milanese and the meatball appetizer. Server was OK. Glad to see they are improving

Barely better than a frozen pizza and ten times the cost. The pros: the sauce, It is quite yummy. The cheese, it is passable and in quite a hefty amount. The staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The cons: price, way overpriced for strip mall carryout pizza. The crust, it is like a damp rubbery saltine cracker. I would say the toppings are a con, but there really weren’t any to speak of. Undercooked, even after asking for it well done, I can’t imagine what regular bake is like. Skip this place. There are better options for cheaper tastier pizza within a few blocks.

After hearing all the hype about how wonderful this place is I stopped by on Tuesday(1top large for 10.99). It was about an hour till close and there were two young gents there who were very friendly. The open sign was off and was told it was broken. I got two larges with one extra topping each(extra toppings 1.50) with some Ranch for a total of 27. The sauce was amazing but everything else was lackluster at best. The cheese was bland, the dough was undercooked and rubbery also bland, and their toppings were very light handed. Maybe their specialty pizzas are better but I would not recommend this to someone who truly wants to enjoy a wonderfully crafted pizza. You’d like this if you have extra money to spend and you’re kinda drunk.

Great pizza. So much better than the other local options save for Harvest. Really super pepperoni and nice, friendly staff.

I just don’t understand the reviews on Unilocal.Ok. I’ve had issues with the service. Serious issues. On a couple occasions I went in to pick up my order I phoned in to find they never made my order. Both times the guy apologized and offered me 10% off my next order. Are you kidding me! I swore I’d never go back. Both times. BUT I do. I can’t help it. I love and crave this pizza.

The people were really nice, and were enthusiastic that my husband and I were new customers and they really wanted to impress us. However right after we placed our order at the counter we saw a large squished bug on the floor; guts smeared and all. Thank goodness it wasn’t a cockroach, otherwise I would have gotten my money back and left. It was just a beetle, but the fact that they left it there was gross. Both tables(they are mostly a carry-out place, not eat-in so there weren’t many tables) were dirty so we chose the least dirty to sit at. We had the pizza and it was just alright. I wouldn’t get it again, especially for the price(over $ 11 for a medium 1-topping pizza). We left right after eating because we had to be somewhere and I noticed a really weird aftertaste in my mouth, I guess it was from the sauce. I had to chew a piece of gum to get rid of it. While we were waiting for our food a woman with 3 kids came in. I overheard the cashier offer to bring the food out to their car, which I thought was really nice. Especially since the place isn’t very big and the kids were antsy(just kids being kids). The people were nice, but I would not recommend this place.

The service was excellent. This is the type of pizza you either love or hate. This is not your typical fast food pizza. The sauce is more authentic Italian family style and the cheese is thick. I do wish the cheese went closer to the crust but loved the crust so problem solved. Definitely will be back.

Just like other reviewers said — cheese is thick and gobbed on, separates from the pizza crust/sauce below very easily because it’s so thick, very little pizza sauce on the pizza and not much flavor. Very bland tasting. Won’t be back. Seems to me like a «love it or hate it» type of pizza. Delivery quoted 45 minutes and showed up in 40. Good service, just not a fan of the pizza. Didn’t try anything else.

GAG! Oh sorry, did I type that? We tried the pizza and were underwhelmed to say the least. It was definitely something we’d never get again. Then a friend said someone told her they had the best lasagna ever. Well, maybe pizza isn’t their strong suit and the pasta is, so we gave it another shot. Big mistake. We almost took it right back upon gazing at it. The sauce was tomato water and globs of grease. We had to dump half of it out to even get to the meat of the dish. I don’t understand how a dish that looks semi-appealing after ditching the tomato water has literally NO flavor! I mean the noodles, the meat, the cheese and the sauce… all completely flavorless! So I went to the cupboard, got out some Pizza Zip sauce, about 7 spices and then it tasted good. In our book, 2 strikes and you’re out.

Rotolo’s is one of those pizzas that you have to be in the mood for. The sauce is sort of sweet and the amount of cheese they put on it might be described as a glob. Which doesn’t sound very appetizing, but it’s all right. Really, that’s about the best way to describe Rotolo’s. All right. I have no complaints but it definitely isn’t the best pizza around. They do come in a large array of sizes from the tiny to the large, and the salads are okay. Again, no complaints but nothing to write home about. If you find yourself wanting to try something new, you won’t feel like you wasted your money but there are definitely better alternatives in the area.
