I had given Rite Rug another chance, in hope that my first experience was just a fluke. It wasn’t! It comes down to: they will say anything to get your business, but not follow up to see the job is complete — or done properly. My first job was 1500+ sq ft, and it took over a month for them to complete it. My second job was 2200+ sq ft, and it’s almost been one month and it’s still not complete. Tips for the buyer: keep the job very small. Pray that it’s simple enough that you don’t have to communicate with the installers, otherwise you’re screwed. Make sure you have ALL of the fine points of the install INWRITING with your salesperson, otherwise you’re screwed. ++ I should also mention, that though the job is incomplete, they already have their money. So there is no incentive to complete the job.

I like Rite Rug. I actually like Rite Rug a lot, just not this location. This store is small and has limited inventory as far as the remnants are concerned. The salesman seemed as though he could have cared less about selling my husband and I carpet. We entered the store, the buzzer rang and I watched him ignore it and continue doing paperwork at his desk. As we approached him, he finally pulled himself away from whatever he was so busy doing. He was cordial, spent about 10 minutes with us and went back to what he was doing. I don’t know, maybe because it was a Friday evening he had other more important things to do than to really give good customer service. Regardless, I felt like we were an interruption instead of a valued customer. I’ll never return to this location.

The installers called before they came. Showed up in ten minutes. They moved all our furniture and laid the carpet. Did an outstanding job. Took a lot longer than they thought. They stayed with it and did an outstanding job. I hope they get a decent wage because they did a great job! Thank You!
