Decent food, average prices. We hit this place twice a week for lunch or breakfast since it’s connected to my bldg. 2 things tho about this location and why you do take out. It’s REALLY cold in there. They have the AC on, regardless of outside temperature. In the winter you eat with your coat on. Also too many patrons use the small door, allowing a blast of cold winter air to rush in. Complaining to management has no effect. Secondly, music. They seem to think more noise in an already loud environment is better. The ceiling is tiled with tin tiles, so it’s noisy. Now they have some local musicians playing at lunchtime so any conversation is impossible. Plus the music is usually unidentifiable from the background noise.

Potbelly is chain that routinely impresses me. They have very consistent quality and because of that it’s easy to have a realistic expectation of what your about to get before you get it. There are a lot of locations around the city, this isn’t any more or less special it’s just close to where I work. Personal favorites are the«wreck» and the broccoli cheese soup.

My boyfriend and I dropped in after viewing the Wexner Art Exhibit nearby. We were greeted soon after we entered and the place was a little empty. The décor was mismatched and very interesting. It even had a corner where musicians perform, I guess. I immediately fell in love with it. I ordered a Mushroom sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup while he ordered a Mediterranean sandwich. The soup was delicious and was the best part of the meal. Will definitely drop in when I am in the surrounding area.

Overpriced lunch option. Sammiches are good enough, but I’d rather go down to one of the local downtown lunch options for the same price. I only go here when it’s cold because it’s connected to my building

I like potbelly’s this is walking distance from a lot of office buildings. The lines are quick and they have seating outside for warm days! This should be on everyone’s short list for lunch options!

Always a rock solid sandwich for a good price. If I cant figure out what I want, this place is the default for me at lunchtime. Always a good sandwich at a good price, and the milkshakes are awesome too.

The Wreck and the Meatball are my two favorites from Potbelly. I used to eat Potbelly’s all the time when I lived up in Michigan, but California doesn’t have any that I’m aware of. So when I got to Columbus and saw it a mere two blocks from my hotel, I hit that place up. It was everything I remembered. Now, come to LA!

I like Potbelly, and it’s definitely in my rotation for«I dunno what to get for lunch.» Hot, melty, tangy, convenient. I want to try their breakfast offerings, which I’m sure will become another part of my morning routine when our office moves over to the Huntington building later this year. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars, because I’m a little grumpy about the ordering process. So hey, I have a few notes. First… I like to order the Wreck. Big size. With everything on it. Actually, I hate ordering it. I love eating it. This makes me feel a little guilty sometimes and, uh, unfeminine. So, on top of being slightly embarassed by my order and its name(Big Wreck), I end up having to shout this title throughout my ordering experience… which just makes me feel more guilty. When taking orders, the little fellah at the front will ask patrons what they want as soon as they get in the livestock-chute thing for the queue. You’ll have just walked in, 7 people deep, and you’re forced to shout your order over everyone’s heads. BIGWRECK! BIGWRECKRIGHTHERE!!! Then, walk down a little farther to the other side of the conveyor-belt-oven. «What did you have?» A BIGWRECK! «Oh, okay, it’ll be coming out soon.» Then, later, another assembly line sammich assembler: Her: «What did you have?» Me: «Uh… a Wreck?» Her: «A big one?» Me: «Yep, a BIGWRECK!» Sammich in hand, scooting down to the registers: Him: «And what did you have today?» Me: «A BIGFREAKINGWRECK!» You are what you eat?

So I was trying to find a place to eat that I wasn’t in Cleveland and I ran into this place. Service was okay, food was okay. I got some kind of chicken and cheddar sandwich(meh), oatmeal chocolate chip cookie(yum) and an oreo milkshake(awesome). I thought it was a little bit overpriced just for one person. The only thing I really liked was the milkshake.

Lunch at Potbelly? YES. Anytime. Count me in. Incredible, delicious, hot and crunchy — PERFECT, any way you like it. There’s a long line, but from the 5-min wait alone you get so hungry that you can’t wait to reach the counter. They have all the options you can imagine. A skinny sandwich, a regular sandwich. What kind of bread? What kind of fillings? How would you like it — hot, cold, toasted? What kind of sauce? YUMMY. The staff will do anything for you. They’ll make it just how you like it; they’ll even make suggestions if you’re a regular. This place is dangerous. If I ate here everyday, I would get a pot belly. And I wouldn’t care one bit, because I’d get to eat at Potbelly. But if you want to take the risk, get the milkshake with oreos to go along with your meal. They have little tiny oreos on the straw. So freaking cute — and delicious.

I can’t get enough of the breakfast sandwiches. And at $ 3 each they barely dent the wallet. I like the friendly service of this particular location as well. Always smiling and helpful.

Facts are facts etc. This is NOT a run of the mill sandwich«place». How can it be? It’s got a picture of John Belushi on the wall, AND it’s clean. Those are usually two very incompatible notions. How can one be SOOOO dissapointed w/this place? I get it if you’re like spending…$ 300 on a meai and it doesn’t work out, but Potbelly is a $ 4 sandwich that is melting and warm and yuuummmyy. Their shakes are some of the best in the«industry». It’s the ice cream! AND… their bread is awesome. Truly. Potbelly — it’s got a line for a good reason…

I was so disappointed with Potbelly. Their sandwiches are dry, boring, and lack taste! Panera has much better choices.

Potbelly is one of those places my fiancée and I first discovered when moving to the Columbus area. It’s hard to find a better sandwich in town… really. I’m a gigantic fan of the Italian. Frequently, you’ll hear someone playing live music in there as well. Great atmosphere. Great food.
