Well this little gem is hidden away in the back of the parking lot next to Smiths Farmers Market. What a find! The pulled pork and brisket were the absolute best in Columbus, hands down. Makes City BBQ taste fake by comparison. And to think it is out of the side of a food truck makes it all the better. Great Smokey flavor. Got the spicy and the sweet sauce, and both were outstanding alone and even better when I mixed them together. You will be impressed! The greens were great as well. The pickles and onions were a nice touch with the ribs. Ok, not much down side, but the rack of ribs were still very very good and tender, perhaps on the dry side a bit for me. The Mac and Cheese seemed to have a slightly vinegar taste to it and was a bit runny. I would try a different side next time. I still give it a super rare 5 stars. The BBQ is the best and the aesthetics make it a rare, amazing find. I wish it were closer, I’d go there weekly!!!

Flew in from Los Angeles and wanted no work minimal clean up… Whoops! What we got was great BBQ! Ribs with mild and spicy sauce, pulled pork, brisket and all the sides! Baked beans, my sisters favorite potato salad and my favorite greens! Relaxed outside dinning and friendly staff… Gonna come back!

The reviews are right, this place is the real deal. I’m so happy to report that fact, i’ve been searching for a local BBQ place that I can rely on to get my fix. It’s been far too long since i’ve had brisket and beans this good. When you have some for yourself, you’ll agree. You owe it to yourself to stop in and get some for yourself.

Four solid stars… but they’re 5-stars for a food truck! They’re doing the best they can for the space that they have. It’s great that they have two little tables so you can eat there, but I have to say it was unpleasant eating with an ashtray on my table. Of course I could have chosen to not eat there but by the time I would have gotten to where I could eat my bun would’ve been more soggy than it already was from the pickle juice. Really awesome, fresh food though. The corn comes straight from the market 30 feet in front of them. Great little spot! Diamond in the rough!

Stopped in last Friday afternoon while running errands like the crazy person I used to be(Yeah, used to be, wore me wittle self out!) Got a half slab, mac and cheese and slaw. Took them home rather than try to eat there. Ribs pretty darn good(and I’m not really that crazy about BBQ, but it was there and so was I.) One fork full of the mac and cheese was one forkful too many. Yuck! I’ll take Kraft over this. HOWEVER! The slaw was magnificent! Nicely crisp and just a little sweet but also that lovely vinegary tang! Will probably be back once in a while if only for more of that slaw! Crazy, ain’t it? Rave about the slaw at a BBQ stand! Oh well, no one ever mistook me for sane!

I’m originally from the south, the Memphis area to be exact and this is easily the best barbecue I’ve had outside of the south. I had the homemade corn pudding and homemade mac and cheese which was equally as phenomenal. The mac and cheese people usually make pretty grainy but this was smooth. That corn pudding is out if this world. Highly recommend this place.

You can go to places like City BBQ or Smokey Bones to get your BBQ, but why would you when there is an amazing little place that serves better food? OD on BBQ is a small business that operates in the parking lot of Smith Farm Market. From the first time to the last the food has been the best. The corn pudding is sweet and peppery, the baked beans have just enough of a bite for me(I don’t like overly spicy or peppery foods) and the pickle and onion they put with the sandwiches are a nice touch. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the mood for«fast food» BBQ.

Delicious smoked BBQ. It is difficult to find a place that does it right, and these guys do it right outside their little food cart. I appreciate a tasty meat that has been smoked for the better part of a day. The portions are good, the prices are fair and the food is outstanding. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because you can only eat there when the weather permits, because all of the tables are outside under an awning. If they could figure out a way to isolate the elements from the warm food, it would easily get 5 from me.

This BBQ is a bit out of the way and right next to a «farmer’s market» type store. I got the ribs and while they fell off the bone, the flavor was bland. Unlike some other BBQ places, this one does not seem to use any rub and their BBQ sauce doesn’t make up for it. The ribs I got were being kept in foil and as a result were lukewarm.

Good food; okay service; lousy atmosphere. The potato salad is excellent. The brisket, corn in the cob, and mixed greens are very good. The pickles are good. Service could be much friendlier. The location sucks, so I suggest taking your food to go. I would eat here again.

This spot went down from 4 stars to 2 in the 2 years since I first reviewed it. The sides have gotten sloppy, and considering they had the best corn pudding in town, that’s kind of a travesty. It’s gone sweet instead of peppery. The meats are okay now, feeling a little tired and overcooked around the edges. I used to recommend this place all of the time. Now I just send people back to City BBQ. I sorely want this place to succeed, though.

You ever have one of those days where you drive all the way to Groveport to buy a swingset and meet a guy on Craigslist to tear it down and set it up? And then he doesn’t show or return calls until texting 10 minutes after arranged meeting time to tell you he wasn’t going to make it. It was a nice swingset for $ 100, but I lost out because of unreliable people so I needed cheered up. I found some cheer less than a mile down the road. I was pleasantly surprised to find a BBQ truck parked in Smith’s Farmers Market. I headed over and decided to see what makes this a 4 to 5 star establishment. I was not disappointed and actually left with a smile on my face. Now I would recommend eating at one of their lovely picnic tables if you have a 20 minute drive home. I was a little frustrated with my day and decided to get it to go because I wanted to torture myself more. I ordered the Beef Brisket sandwich on worker recommendation and after readin Unilocal reviews. I went with Greens and Corn Pudding for sides. Great idea because I can eat those while driving, well for the most part. The corn pudding has a bit of a pepper spice that gives it a nice aftertaste. My wife didnt think it to be that great but I loved it. The greens were excellent comong from somone who doesn’t usualluy get greens. Now the greens are good to eat for the first half but a little too much liquid at the bottom that ended up on my steering wheel. Finally I arrived at my destination and taste the BBQ goodness. The Brisket was excellent as the bun totally soaked up juicy goodness and practicaly disappeared. My only wish is that they would use different buns or bread as they weren’t anything special. The Brisket was juicy, tender, and plenty. I had a lot left sitting in my container after I finished the sandwich. i ordered the spicy which was sweeter than spicy so that would be a slight knock in my book. If I ever have reason to head to Groveport, I will stop in again.

This is a hole in the wall type place. Or rather, an awning, next to a food truck, at a farmer’s market. We got a family pack with a container of pulled pork and one of shredded chicken, success and buns. The pork was well seasoned and the chicken had a great smokey flavor. The red bbq sauce was good — sweet and spicy but not hot and just a little thicker than some very runny sauces. The Mac & cheese was an unexpected offering and was very watery. It came with a crunchy topping like stove top stuffing crumbs. I didn’t care for it but others did. Corn in the hull, wrapped in foil probably came from the farmers market. It was delicious. Didn’t need salt or butter. The pickles!!! They make them there and they are an amazing blend of bread and butter and sour pickles. Big thick chunks. Highly recommend. Last thing we tried was the corn pudding. It was odd. Like a mix of under cooked Jiffy cornbread mix, creamed corn and then seasonings like cumin and cayenne pepper. Biggest negative is the limited seating and restrooms. It’s a food truck but it’s good food.

As an alabamian, I’m a little spoiled on good barbecue so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at OD. My friends and family stopped by on our way back home from a wedding in Pittsburgh. We saw the reviews on Unilocal and decided to give the place a try. It’s a little hard to find, being in a small food truck behind a farmer’s market, but it was worth the drive. My only complaint was the lack of seating. There are only a couple of tables and, if they are occupied, you may have to do some shopping at the farmer’s market until one clears out. Also, there’s no rest room. You have to use the portopotty behind the store.

Back in this neck of the woods, so I had to stop by, of course. And man, I’m glad I did. First Wednesday of every month they have smoked corned beef. Today was my lucky day, so I got some– just a mini, since I wanted a few other things. It. Was. Awesome. Excellent flavor, tender, wow. Next, the ribs. I had a quarter slab, and… They were not bad, just not my thing. I love ribs. I love the smoky flavor, deep in the meat. I love picking them up and eating, getting messy. I might use a little sauce if things are dry or bland. I don’t much like ribs swimming in sauce, or so tender they shlurp off the bones and are hard to eat. And, well, that’s how these were. If you like that, cool, these are for you. The sauce didn’t seem to be hiding crappy meat, I just couldn’t taste the meat much. What I did notice was fine. And literally«slide off the bone» tender is just a tad too much for me. I want it tender, I don’t like gnawing. But there’s a point beyond which it just becomes a pile of meat, not ribs. I picked up an end of the small slab, and all the meat fell onto the plate. Ribs are messy, but at least they should be finger food, not a pile. Might as well be pulled pork. Anyway, rant over. The sauce(I got the hot) was moderately spicy and very flavorful. Finally, my first corn of the season. Roasted(or maybe put in their smoker?) corn on the cob. Mmm, mmm. Prices are good. Drinks are canned. Decent variety of meats and sides. Minimal seating options. Smoker right there. A real barbecue joint.

The brisket is good and you can choose from 2 types of sauces. The sauces are average. I got a rack of ribs and they weren’t prepped like I like them. The ends had a lot of cartelidge and grisle. The baked beans are really good but the mac and cheese had a watery consistency. Overall I liked it and will return.

Wow! First time getting BBQ from OD, we got the brisket, pulled pork, half rack, and coleslaw for the side. We ordered it with the sweet sauce, which was sweet but not cloyingly sweet; for a sweet sauce it definitely had a surprising amount of pepperiness to it. All of the meat was fresh out of the smoker and kept on heat without being refrigerated first(then reheated, a process that destroys some of the flavors you only get when the Q is fresh out the smoker). The same can be said of the pork and the ribs, and the ribs were very much«fall off the bone»(which made it a bit harder to eat with hands). Coleslaw was nice, creamy, and very fresh(had the after taste you only get from fresh cabbage); normally I’m not a fan, but I very much enjoyed OD’s rendition of slaw. As an added bonus they are located next to an awesome farmer’s market. The best BBQ that I’ve had in Columbus, and steps above your average run of the mill City BBQ.
