I stop in here from time to time. They have a great selection for such a small shop, and I had been keeping my eye on a wok here. It’s the only place I’ve found that has real, plain woks. I searched all over town and just found cheap non-stick ones. So, back to the North Market. Prices are a bit high, but decent for a boutique store. Browse and see some cool stuff, or come in for oddball supplies. Who doesn’t like a kitchen store?

Cookware right in the middle of a local markethouse? Genius! Hailing from Cincinnati, this is one booth that I wish Findlay Market(our version of North Market) would have. North Market Cookware carries everything from wooden spoons to plastic gadgets that spin-dry lettuce, slice, dice, and peel your fruit. They also have a variety of cooking pots and a rainbow of mugs and plates. Also, if you need green, earth-friendly cookware, this is your place. Prices are reasonable, with most gadgets costing only a couple of dollars. I bought some cooking spoons here for $ 5.00. I also found an orange peeler for 55 cents.

North Market Cookware carries the crème de la crème. Everything from Henkels to Le Creuset. They’re a little pricey but when you’re buying something that you’ll stiil have fifty years from now, what do you expect?

I was a bit delighted with this little cookware shop. I needed a tea ball and some of the other little shops wanted a bit too much for theirs and this shop had it at a fair price. I also got some good thick wooden spoons, stainless steel measuring spoons, whisk, and tomato /strawberry corer. and bamboo tongs. I am a pretty good cook when I want to be. Since I am trying to eat healthier, I like to be nicely stocked with the right utensils when needed. The quality of stuff here is very good.

For a long time, I thought Cookware Sorcerer and North Market Cookware were siblings. Nope! I was simply confused about the names, not the product similarity or price. The two establishments are totally different in my eyes. North Market Cookware offers a bunch of brightly colored ceramic cookware along with gadgets and gizmos. I agree with Kris H, this is more of a diner supplier — but a ritzy diner at that. The prices are reasonable in that I can afford them, but I have never found much that I really need at North Market Cookware. A lot of the items remind me of those late-night/as-seen-on-TV products. For such a small corral, they have a lot of teapots, but I’m no tea drinker. I guess North Market Cookware would be one of those places you visit if you’re looking for something very specific that you haven’t been able to find elsewhere. Or maybe it’s a place for the kitchen-crazed impulse buyer. It’s one of those extremes. The owner is helpful.

North Market Cook Ware carries really high quality brands of everything you’ll need to do up a killer dinner. It’s a great location, because you can shop around for meat, produce, and bread, then hit this shop for any tools you might need. It carries similar things to the Cookware Sorcerer, but the Sorcerer has more high end niche items, whereas North Market Cook Ware carries a higher volume of items that are useful day to day.
