Let’s start with I’m a paneer person. I’ve tried to make that Indian cheese goodness at home and it’s was pretty impossible tried 3 times. This place nails it! NAILS it! soft pieces of heaven that floats down your throat! I got the saag paneer but when i ventured in was looking for palak paneer — just as good folks not sure which I like better. For ppl who don’t know it’s basically a spinach spice mix w the most amazing chunks of cheese you’ll ever have sever over the trademark Indian rice. The Basmati rice was spot on. Service was nice and friendly. My only thing is my rice pudding was severed w/o what I expected which was nuts, raisins and crushed cardamon which might have been my own fault bc I ordered«rice pudding» and not by its traditional name which btw was freaking great! No complaints the garlic naan was freaking amazing and I could tell it was made fresh. Naan beats the breaks off pita bread any day and boy this filled the spot for me. Can’t wait to go here for the buffet!

I think this place is okay but have experienced much better Indian. The buffet is pretty small. There were not a whole lot of items to choose from, but there were several good vegetarian items. I thought the cost was fair. It was about $ 9 for all you can eat. They are also open for dinner but I have only been in at the lunch buffet so that is what I recommend.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for several years. Service and food has always been great and prices are fair. This location has continued to offer a Groupon that has added to their value. This location has always been helpful and has answered any questions that I have had. They have always been accommodating to adjust the spicyness of the cuisine as well.

Not very impressed overall. Mediocre at best. We got Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tandoori. The food wasn’t as flavorful as other Indian places we have been. There was barely any chicken in the Tikka Masala. The service was fast, but nothing remarkable, and they didn’t seem too friendly. We purchased a $ 10 off $ 20 from Unilocal before going; at first they didn’t want to honor it because it was New Year’s Day. We had to tell them there were no stipulations on the coupon for holidays. They were all really annoyed after that. Just based on their attitude alone, we will never go back.

Very decent buffet with a very decent price. I always leave full but wish that you could order off the menu when the buffet is offered. Sometimes my bf is hungrier than I am but you can only get the lunch buffet during those hours. Definitely best bang for your buck and can fill the hungriest of men.

I came here with my mom for a sample of the lunch buffet. We have been here before and the food is pretty good. However today, the servants were all on their cell phones and we sat without water for 15 minutes after we had begun to eat. I would honestly would go to a different buffet down the street that provides a more diverse range of food and better customer service.

Over the past two years I have tried different Indian restaurants around the central Ohio area. Most offer daily buffets at a reasonable price with the option to try various dishes. The buffet option is the best value if you want to try unfamiliar flavors or spices. However, I return to New India for the consistent flavors and great value. I switch between the daily buffet or the nightly dinner. I love the Curry Goat and Chili Chicken. When I walk through the door the aroma alone brings a smile to my face. The owner and staff are consistently cordial and always willing to explain each dish. Overall an enjoyable experience that will have you returning for more.

This is quite possibly the single best Indian restaurant I’ve been to. I’ve eaten Indian cuisine in several countries and I still feel lucky to have New India in my home town! The service is great, the food is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. They’ve kept me coming back for over ten years at this point!!! Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

At one point I thought the food here was pretty decent but the more Indian restaurants I try the less I like this place. The service is ok, and the food this time was just alright. The garlic naan is the only thing I had tonight that was flavorful at all. The rest were very blah versions of my favorite Indian dishes. I was able to buy and use the Unilocal deal here which saved me 10 dollars which was good. I would only go here again if it’s on a whim and we are super hungry and there’s nothing else appealing.

This was my first Indian food experience. My friends chose this establishment. The food was fantastic. My taste buds got to explore a combo platter and food on my friend’s plates along with a mango drink and India beer. Our server seemed lost and appeared to be annoyed with any of our request. Perhaps he was new. I certainly would visit again. Establishment was clean. Plenty of parking.

I’ve been looking for a decent Indian restaurant nearby and I think I finally found it. I just picked up carry out here and I’m pretty impressed! I ordered the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The masala was very good, not overly soupy, with a good amount of large chicken chunks. The garlic naan was delicious! If you love garlic, this is a must try. My only minor complaint is that I ordered the hot spice level and they gave me «white girl spicy», which was about a level 3 on a scale of 1 – 10. I will be back to try more dishes, hopefully with more heat!

A pretty decent buffet with a decent price. I was impressed with the amount of variety they had even though the space seems so small. For around $ 11, they had tandori chicken, naan, saag, and about 5 different curries. They also had 3 different dessert dishes available. The food was hot and tasted fresh. Now of course the food is dumbed down for the less adventurous eater so that was my only disappointment. The only dish with a decent spice was the cauliflower dish. I would not rate this as the best indian buffet but I would do this place over a few others that I have been to in Dublin.

Amazing awesome flavors! From the curry, to the chili chicken, to the tandoori chicken. It is all delicious. The rice is even good all by itself. The lunch buffet options don’t seem to change often but they don’t really need to. You will never leave there hungry or disappointed. Give it a try.

I had not tried Indian food before in my life and some friends recommended this restaurant as a good choice. I have to say I enjoyed the flavors and the fresh Naan. It has been a while since I’ve been back and I can only recall the dishes I had but both the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Saag were great. I preferred the Chicken Saag and with the naan it was perfect. I don’t have much I can compare this Indian restaurant to other Indian restaurants, but I believe this is one of the better ones. The only real issue I had was our server was inattentive and seemed annoyed to be working at all. I am not picky when it comes to ordering and I give a server leeway if it is a dinner rush, but this was a slow day and a bad attitude is something you can leave at home when you come to work.

We eat at New India Restaurant at least once a week! I’ve tried many Indian restaurants in town but nothing beats their food! We’ve never had issues with their service — they’re not up in your face with fake smiles asking you how the food is every five seconds but they are attentive and have never gotten an order wrong. There is a lunch buffet weekdays and weekends — we have tried it but prefer the menu to a crowded buffet. The sauces are flavorful, the meats are cooked to perfection, the chutneys are tasty, and the naan is delicious! The mango lassi is the best!

I LOVE New India… for me it is by far the best Northern Indian food restaurant in the area. I love their Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Makhni and Palak(Saag) Paneer(vegetarian). I have never had a bad experience with these dishes, they always taste good, however the flavor isn’t super consistent from visit to visit.

New India is good, nice buffet. Good prices. Enough meat and veggie options to please both crowds. General I’ve had quiet, kind of shy servers, but the food is authentic North Indian and good. The interior needs to be updated big time, looks like and 80s hotel.

Very kind people own and operate this place. Their lunch buffet is a great deal, but they close from 230 – 5, right after the buffet ends. Today, they opened their doors to me, even though they are supposed to be closed. The Chicken Saag is excellent.

Had a great dinner at New India after work today. It was out of the way, but amazing nonetheless. The bread basket($ 6.50) is a good deal with a nice mix of naan. And i absolutely love bread of any and all kinds. Personal problem. I always get the vegetable samosa and for some reason refuse to stray from ordering the chicken curry, hot. It is delicious. Solid 4 stars.

We typically only eat here when we have a Groupon. We discovered it when Amul India closed because of Walmart moving in, who threw them out of their building. So we came here until we discovered that they opened back up just down the street from where they once were. Compared to Amul the food doesn’t seem to be as high of quality. The curries seem to be thinner and watered down, less meat in the dishes. Even the naan seems a bit thin. Even with all that the food isn’t horrible, it’s average for Indian, maybe a little below average. The service here has a lot to yearn for and one of the main reasons we don’t like coming. They almost never get you refills and I’m not sure they actually seat people in the order they arrive vs. the order of convenience for them. They always have room in the back which never seems to be opened and the bathrooms are tiny and not that clean. They almost never pick up your bill for you so I just go straight to the register so I don’t have to wait 20 minutes to pay my bill.
